Five Foot Five, a scraggly beard, wide frame, and tanned skin wielding a club.
This is Caveman Bob
Caveman Bob is not the most intelligent fellow, typically attacking all in sight.
Today has been very interesting for the Lone Caveman Bob.
Today Caveman Bob learned about fire. Caveman Bob has heard thunder and seen lightning before but has never been able to see the monster that roars so loudly and lightens up a dark sky. But fire was something new, it looks like the big thing in the sky when it is bright, yet it is close and warm.
Naturally faced with something new and unusual Caveman Bob only had one course of action.
!!ATTACK!!
*Whack* *Whack* *Whack* *Whack* *Whack* *Whack*
Whatever this thing (fire) on the tree is only growing bigger and seems to be getting madder.
Caveman Bob grunts with every hit, but his efforts seem in vain. Nothing is stopping the monster on the tree.
Caveman Bob’s eyes get watery from the monster's toxic fumes (Smoke) and his body hurts from the aura it exudes (Heat).
Caveman Bob sadly has to make a strategic retreat once the monster gets on his greatest technology and treasure, HIS CLUB. Trying to grab the monster (fire) to get it off the club only hurts Caveman Bob, so he resorted to slamming the monster (fire) into the ground, but with the monster (fire) growing bigger on his club he threw it at the tree and ran.

Caveman Bob watches from a distance as he grunts in anger and disappointment.
Disappointment at himself for losing the fight and his club, and Anger at the monster (fire) for taking his club and beating him.
He lays down in the grass with rain pelting him, stalking the fire wait for another chance to strike.
This monster (fire) is different than the furry things on all fours (wolf).
More angry grunts as he thinks about not being able to tell where the monster is looking.
As time passes the monster (fire) grows and shrinks with the rain letting up and absolutely pouring down.
Caveman Bob is hungry and thinks the monster (fire) may feed him for a long time if he kills it when its big.
More time passes and Caveman Bob wonders why monster only grows but does not move around only sitting in one spot.
Thinking monster will stay there Caveman Bob slowly crawls backwards then once a good distance away sprints towards his cave to get another Club.
The figure of Caveman Bob flitting across small fields and between trees luckily attracts no attention from other creatures.
Once at the entrance of his cave, Caveman Bob grabs some nearby stones and slowly enters his cave ready for combat.
Caveman Bob fought hard against furry things for this cave and every once and a while something will come to take Caveman Bob’s cave while he is out for food.
Caveman Bob slowly goes further into the cave and finds nothing, so this time his cave is safe.
He grabs one of the biggest clubs he can in his pile of clubs and hits the wall a few times to test its durability. Two clubs break before he finds one that stays intact, and he is off back toward the new monster.
Lots of the toxic fumes (smoke) are in the air so Caveman Bob thinks the monster is still there, but once he approaches he doesn’t see the monster anymore. Only everything here where the monster was is now spreading the toxic fog.
Coughing and grunting he lays low and looks around to see if the monster is just hiding nearby.
He can feel the aura like the one the monster had on everything smoking and thinking the monster might somehow be in it begins attacking.
*Whack* *Whack*
Caveman Bob started coughing from the ashes and ember dispersing from his hits. Thinking it was the monster fighting back he began to attack more fervently.
*Whack* *Whack* *Whack* *Whack*
Seeing that his hits weren’t doing anything, Caveman Bob runs away back to the previous spot he watched the monster from.
As Caveman Bob watches the smoke waiting for the monster to show itself. A slight rustling in the grass behind him gives him a fright.
He sees what appears to be a large and long rock near him grazing the grass.
Caveman Bob has seen this monster before and knows it is a tough opponent.
With a rock-like body and spiky tail this monster could take most hits and not react.
This monster (Glyptodon) was something Caveman Bob needed a bigger stick to fight.
He retreats back to his cave and eats some plants and crawlies on the ground to get him through this night thinking about bigger sticks to fight strong monsters.
