Lucas, a nationwide famous artist known for his poetry and paintings. He often does small meetings with fans where they go watch movies or hang out. Don, one of Lucas's biggest fans, is going to this meeting and planning on asking Lucas a question. A very important question.
Don is walking down the street excitedly to the meeting point. As he rounds a corner he can hear chatter and praise, Lucas is there standing with 3 other people. No security guards. Don picks up his pace and runs towards the group, stopping right before running into someone. "Lucas, Lucas! I've been waiting!!" he says jumping around like a little fangirl. Lucas and the 3 other people seem to be off put by this, but awkwardly accept him into the group. Don doesn't care in the slightest and pushes away the other people to reach Lucas. "Lucas!! I've been waiting to see you!" Lucas shrugs off his excitement and welcomes him, telling him the plans for the night. Don interrupts him and grabs him with an excited, crazed look in his eyes. "Lucas, Listen. This means a lot to me, and it means a lot to you too. This is an important event, so. Can you help me?" The 4 of them are confused by this sudden mood change and strange question. After a bit, Lucas finally speaks up and gains a more serious tone as a response. He tells Don that they are going to go see a show and need to leave soon. More awkward silence follows as Don continues to hold Lucas by the shoulders, staring into his eyes. Don's mood once again changes more sinister and hate filled. One of the fans stands beside Lucas, sensing something is wrong. Before anyone says anything, Don pushes Lucas away and grits his teeth, reaching into his pocket grabbing a knife. The fan standing guard notices this and tries to push Don off course, Don responds by slashing his hand and arm. He lunges at Lucas and slams the knife into his chest with all of his body weight, both of them falling to the ground. With both hands he pulls it back out and plunges it into Lucas's chest again, and again, and again. The fan that was guarding Lucas throws Don off of Lucas and tries to keep him away. Don cuts the air trying to attack the fan but realizes it isn't working and throws the knife frustratingly. He reaches into his pocket again and pulls out a 6 shot revolver and points it at the fan, smiling and gritting his teeth in panic and delight. The defending fan panics, clutching his bleeding arm as he runs past the 2 remaining fans. They follow after his, getting a last look at the attacker, he is now pointing the gun at them. He fires 2 shots from the revolver, one bullet misses while the other flies through one of the fans legs. Despite this, they continue to run and escape. Don brings his attention back to Lucas, who is lying on the ground motionless and bleeding. He lowers the gun to Lucas's body and fires the remaining 4 shots. Don is alone. Not knowing what to do, he paces back and forth, grabbing his head with both hands. In a short moment of clarity, he looks at Lucas's body, then at his own hands. He raises the gun to his head and pulls the trigger but nothing happens, in vain he tries again, and again, and again. Panicking, he opens the cylinder and accidentally drops all the shells on the ground. In frustration, he throws the gun and sheds a tear, his escape plan failed. With nothing to do, crying, angry, confused, panicking. He seeks comfort and lies on the ground, clutching Lucas's corpse in his arms, as he waits.
