Synopsis
Takumi is a man who has lost himself between memories and reality. His past is linked to Yuki, a girl who left a deep mark on his soul but left him with only pain and regrets. His present is Hikari, a girl who has become a ray of light in his dark world, but whose presence seems fragile to him, as if he is afraid of losing her as he once lost himself.
The past calls back, the present begs to go forward. Takumi is faced with a choice: leave the heavy burden that is pulling him into the abyss, or risk everything to learn to live again. But how do you make the move when the fear of mistakes and old losses keeps you from moving?
“Burnout” is a story about the struggle with self, the weight of memories, and how love and loss intertwine to either break us or give us strength for a new path. It's a story about how letting go of the past doesn't mean forgetting it, and embracing the present means choosing life.
