Dear Clara,
I hope this email finds you well. I regret to inform you that this is a letter of employee termination. Your employment with Information Management Systems and Technology Corp. ends as of the date of this email.
You have been terminated for the following reason(s):
Upon the first of the new month, our reports show a four percent decrease in productivity regarding the support queue and your terminal. It was soon reported to us that your grandfather had passed away, and subsequent steps were taken by you to attend his funeral. Your request for time off was filed at the end of that Friday, falling outside of the requested timeframe for giving notice of time off.
We have also received reports of your difficulty communicating with management. When approached about a client reasonably asking if you could work an additional 6 hours of over time on their project, which required completion that evening, less they suffer catastrophic losses of 1.3% on opening, you informed them that overtime was not allowed within your position and forwarded an email to other staff members. This client subsequently contacted upper management, who contacted those other previously mentioned parties and yourself, to discuss the issue of you refusing to volunteer hours upon the project.

Our records indicate you have not attended the full duration of any office events, birthdays, or celebrations. They indicated that the only attendance that received your complete attention were mandatory training exercises.
Our time management software also shows that your attendance has consistently been “on time” even though our employee guidelines stipulate a strict fifteen-minute early requirement.
While recordings of such an event are unavailable, affidavits of fellow employees state that on or about three weeks ago you made the following statement: “I swear to fucking god, if management doesn’t stop with their bullshit I’m not going to be able to get any of my fucking work done.” Profanity and disrespect of this nature will not be tolerated. Any grievance you may have had against management had multiple channels to be funneled through and taken care of by our wonderful and caring staff in the Human Resources Department.
Customer and client reviews also show you consistently receive nines out of tens and four out of five stars, with no review going lower than 7 or 3 respectively. We at Information Management Systems and Technology Corp. expect only the highest quality of work client relations and this cannot be tolerated.
Even more worrisome, we have been informed that you continue to eat gluten and meat products during your 15 minute lunch break after a nonmandatory seminar on the benefits of living a gluten free vegan diet, which you did not attend.
This decision is not reversable.
Please remember you have signed a nondisclosure agreement, a noncompete clause, a non-solicitation agreement, and a confidentiality policy.
