Bumbling Horizon
Into The Horizon : 1

Into The Horizon : 1

The lights flickered in the cavernous space, echos of light yet purposeful footsteps would boom through hall. A black obsidian throne sat at the far wall, a man, probably in his middle ages, would sit, a crown of bones ,from challengers before, sat on his head. He’d smirk seeing the small figure approaching.

Eye catching hair, the colour of white gold, flowed behind the figure, the cold haunting breeze ruffled the honey highlights. Bright amber eyes, locked onto the person ahead. The small button nose and pale skin would seemingly make the child smaller, although she was already the size of a six year old. She had small, black antennas coming out of the top of her head, and clear wings, like a bumble bee’s, came from slits in her clothing. This girl, wearing a fuzzy yellow vest and a black dress, would be followed by a swarm of bees.

She in a calm happy state, started humming and the honey makers around would happily buzz to her tune. She’d stop at the foot of the stage stairs where the king’s throne sat.

“Welcome traveler. You have done well in coming here, but this shall be the final place you take breath” the man’s gruff voice would boom out into the throne room as thousands of torches lit up the hall, “for I, demon king Ornza, shall not let any, who see his face, live!” he’d finish off on a dramatic note, making the young girl sweat drop.

“Hmmmmm?” She’d hum, “and what makes you think you can do that?” with a smirk on her face, she’d lift a small pale hand and the bees rush forward.

Startled by the sudden attack the man would jump back, and that was his fatal mistake. The girl, whose skills rest in stealth and agility had already appeared behind him. A simple stab through the heart and his HP was down.

A series of dings would come from the computer in front of him, he’d check the inventory.

You Have Earned  1x Mirror Of Chang 10x Beast Summons Of Choice 100 EXP 1x Class 2x Skills

The items got him excited, but he didn’t know what this ‘Mirror of Change’ was. He’d go onto google and check the item catalog of the game… nothing.

This excited him, he’d click on the mirror, it would appear in his characters hands.

Bam!

Something landed on the floor beside him. He’d look cautiously down. A tiny silver clam shell lay there. Picking it up he’d hind a hing, and he’d slowly open it. A compact mirror. Why was something like this in his room he inquired his brain, no answers. He’d look up from the mirror in his hands to the computer came. The item in the characters hands… it was the same mirror as the one in his.

He’d drop the item and log off his computer, thinking it was all just a dream. The mirror would shine when a beam of sun hit it, slowly glowing. It would gain light faster and faster. A vortex of a colour, that was not black but not any colour. It was simply too dark to call a colour. The memorizing vortex would suck his attention in, and before he knew it. He was not in his room anymore. No messy floor. No computer desk. No huge bed. Just a large, no a gigantic tree in front of him.
