Izoke stared at the tab providing the dragon's information. Level fifty to acquire beasts as summon creatures huh? Sounds useful later but not right now, Izoke thought placing a finger and thumb on his chin. He was deep in thought but aa cough from the party of newbies snapped him out of it.
"Ahem," coughed the group's warrior.
" Wow, that was amazing! What was that skill of yours?" Kazuo the mage asked him with excitement.
"It was just a low-level swordsmanship skill," Izoke replied.
"That was awesome, thank you for your help," Kazuo said him by bowing his head
"No, That was nothing"
The healer then tried to treat her companion's wounds. The swordsmen's serious-looking injuries began recovering at a rate visible to the human eye.
She was also hurt while fighting and running from that ground Dragon. So Haruki also cast healing on herself.

What? I can even copy the skills of the Healer class. I guess it can be a big help if I have the healing ability, he thought before saying internally "yes".
Skill acquired "Lesser Heal".
After acquiring the healing skill he focused his vision on the dead dragon. After focusing his stare and thinking "Loot" a tab suddenly appeared. The dragon corpse was looted and gave him an item.
"Dragon Horn Received," said the systems popup.
As soon as he saw this tab one of the horns of the dragon disappeared and went into his item box. Izoke examined the new item in his storage box. The storage box was a super useful feature that Izoke had not read about in the library. He had happened to overhear of its existence while back in town buying his new sword. Summoning this miraculous space only required saying or thinking, "Inventory". The box could only currently hold 40 items but some items of the same type could stack in the same spot. The number of these stacking items could go up to an insane 99. I could put a hundred bottles of water in the same space a single sword can be stored. Why? The weight and volume of the water would be way more, Izoke had contemplated before realizing it didn't matter why. The rules were the rules and all Izoke could do was exploit them to his advantage.
Izoke examined the horn in his inventory.
"This dragon horn can be used to make any sword or dagger," said the horns description tab.
A few minutes later, the newbie players were all back to normal conditions. Izoke started talking with them about things like his level, skills, others. They were surprised noticing Izoke's sword was of low quality but managed to cut the dragon. Izoke lied saying his skill made the sword a part of his character's body and soul giving it a durability bonus. "Character" is what most players called their in-game avatars. Some players with programming experience did also call them "Avatars" or Templates". Not that Izoke understood what a programmer was or a game designer for that matter. He did try to answer most of the newbie party's questions. they were grateful to him.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"You guys can take the corpse of the dragon and sell it on the town," Izoke said firmly to them.
"No, we can't because you killed it." The blue-haired healer said confused by Izoke's offer.
"Yeah man, didn't you read the disclaimer you log in? I bet you just rushed in and spent all your time grinding to get to level twenty," The swordsman added jovially.
"so your the only one who can take it," Haruki replied coyly. There was something about the way this girl was looking at him. "Ah, I've seen this before back in the village!" Izoke thought. Remembering a time long past when Izoke was younger he had seen many of the girls in his village flutter their eyelashes at men they like. Izoke had been an unfortunately timed birth having very few girls born his age in the village. Those who were close in age all liked older men too making Izokes potential for a childhood romance zero.
Izokes first chance at a real girlfriend and she just had to be a player. An NPCs worst enemy and someone that Izoke was certain he cant trust with his secrets. Wouldn't she want to meet him in what they call "The real world"? Even breaking off the relationship once it reached this point would be dangerous as hell hath no fury as a woman scorned. Yet Izoke still found the idea of being with such a cutie to be alluring. Gah!!! Get out of my head! Izoke cursed internally. His girl circumstances had only become more tragic and complicated.
"Well, I can't fit this beast into my inventory," Izoke stated.
"I got a Dimensional Storage ring," Haruki excitedly exclaimed.
"Storage ring?" Izoke questioned.
"Yeah, Haruki here's family's loaded and could buy the games pre-release loot crate," Mocked Kazuo the swordsman.
"Hey!!! Were not that loaded!" Haruki cut in red-faced.
"Oh yeah? Giving 2 grand to your kid for a bonus in a video game isn't frivolous at all," Yuuto the mage added sarcastically.
Izoke didn't know what the heck a "loot crate" was but he knew most players hated their existence. It sounded to Izoke like wealthier people could use lots of money to gain advantages in life that were unfair to others who could not afford the vast sum themselves. The dimensional storage ring was one such item. Like the inventory it stored items but each item it held could be as big as a massive boss monster. Those without this amazing item had to cut the most valuable parts off of the monster and leave the rest behind. They could only take what they could all fit in their inventory and carry.
"I can put it in my ring if you give me permission but the items still yours," Haruki insisted.
"Yes Yes," Yuuto also said by shaking his head in defeat.
"Then how about I sell it and distributing coins with all of us?" Izoke asked them.
"But we didn't help you," Haruki replied sadly.
"Without you, I wouldn't be able to take and sell this massive thing so how about we split it?" Izoke rephrased his offer.
The whole party nodded their heads with smiles on their faces. Once the deal was arranged they decided it was time to head towards town.
