"Are you getting tired yet, boy?" Domenic said as he shot several rounds. "I’m not even breaking a sweat."
Kane jumped out of the way, dodging the rounds. "I could ask you the same," he said with a smirk.
Domenic stopped. "I think it might be high time to stop holding back," he said, throwing his pistols at Kane and grabbing a large rifle off his back, pointing it at Kane. "This time, you die for real."
Kane stepped back, bringing his sword to the ready. "Give me all you’ve got."
Domenic pulled the trigger, but nothing happened. "Oh, believe me. You won’t survive this one."
Kane started to hear a high-pitched screech and took a step back. "Oh? You can hear it, can you? That’s fine, this will be the last thing you hear." There was a click as a large blast came out of the end of the rifle. Kane got ready to jump out of the way, but it was too late. There was a loud explosion.
"Ahahahaha," Domenic started laughing. "Too bad for you, boy." He turned and started walking away when he heard a loud gust of wind and stopped. "I should have guessed you would show up." He smiled and turned around only to see Kane engulfed in a vortex of wind. He looked up. "Letum, my dear. You’re looking well. How are your legs?"
Kane opened his eyes and was amazed he was still in one piece. He looked up. "Why are you here? Why did you protect me?" He asked Letum.
She looked down at him angrily. "It’s got nothing to do with you, now shut up and get ready, he’s not done yet." She said as the wind died down. Kane got ready to attack again. "Are you sure about that, boy?" Domenic asked, pointing his pistols at Kane’s feet.
Kane stopped and looked at the pistols. "Heh." Domenic pushed a button on his rifle causing the pistols to aim and fire at Kane. There was a loud ping as the bullets ricocheted off of metal. "As if I’d let this skinny prissy ass kill you," Ikada said in front of Kane. "I’m the one that’s going to kill you!" Kane looked at both Ikada and Letum. "Why?" he asked.
"Ahahaha, why indeed," Domenic said laughing. "Well, boy, with this turn of events, I think it’s time for a strategic retreat." He whistled, causing his pistols to return to him. "Until next time, boy, I bid you adieu." He fired at the ground, causing a large smoke cloud to appear. The smoke slowly vanished with no sign of Domenic.

Kane walked over to Ikada. "Thanks, I don't know what I would hav....." He was interrupted as Ikada punched him, sending him flying into a nearby wall. "Shut up, you stupid brat! We didn't do this for you, now shut up!" Ikada yelled. Letum ran over to Ikada. "What do we do now, Mr. Ikada?" she asked.
Kane stood up. "Where's Kat?" he asked. Letum looked at him. "That stupid cat? I left her over the..." She stopped when she saw Kat running in their direction. "She should still be knocked out cold, what gives?"
Kat ran over to Kane. "Are you alright? You're not dead again, are you?" Kane looked at Kat. "I'm ok, a couple scratches but I'm fine." He said, grabbing his sword. "If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't even be here." He brought the sword in front of him. "I don't know what it is about this thing, but when I'm holding it I feel like someone is fighting alongside me." He looked at the sword. "What is this th...." He stopped as the sword broke in half. "Um.... I think we have a problem."
Ikada’s mouth dropped. "Impossible, it broke?" he said, grabbing Kane by the shirt and lifting him. "What did you do?" Ikada demanded. "The Muramasa blade should not even be able to break." Letum grabbed the other half of the sword. "Well, this thing's no good anymore." She added. "Not necessarily," a man's voice chimed in from behind them.
Kane looked back. “Hey, you’re.” Ikada dropped him. “You know this guy?” Kane looked at Ikada then looked back at the man. “Yeah, he was on the train with us. Um…. What was your name again?” The man smiled. “My name is Doc, but that would be a lie.” He said.
Kane and Kat looked at each other perplexed. “If Doc isn’t your real name, and then what is it.” Kane asked. The man smiled again and snapped his fingers, causing a large amount of Pyerflies to cover him and slowly vanish, showing a young girl that looked no older than 12. “My name is Lily, and it’s a pleasure to finally meet the four of you, I’ve been waiting.” Kat looked at her and gasped. “Are you THE Lily?” she asked.
Lily walked over to her. “Yes, I am, and you must be one of the last Makyo,” she replied. Kat looked at the other three. “This is Lily, Vox’s granddaughter.” Lily looked at Kane with a large smile. “Yes, my grandfather was Vox.” Kat knelt down. “Was?” she asked. Lily grabbed her hand. “He passed away some years ago.” Kat stood up. “How are we going to train Kane to now?” Lily walked over to Kane. “I will be training the four of you,” she told them.
Kane looked at her. “No offense, but how is a 12-year-old going to train us?” Lily punched Kane in the stomach. “12?” she asked angrily. “I am in my 30s, thank you very much!” Kane keeled over in pain, holding his stomach. “My apologies, ma’am.”
