Chapter 10

Sarada huffed as she pushed herself up for the four hundredth time. She was currently in her gravity room accompanied by her now three year old brother who was trying very hard to walk in the increased gravity. It wasn't by much. Sarada thought he was old enough to undergo more vigorous training. The gravity had been set to a lowly 13. He'd get a grasp of it at some point.

While he was learning to adjust Sarada did a set of basic exercises to get her blood pumping. It has been an official year since her arrival on earth. It flew by pretty fast.

After having returned with her younger brother and mother Sarada went back to Jun. She took him up on his offer and became his one and only pupil. It was a learning experience. She spent around three months training under him. She learned fast. Everything he thought her she took to heart. She learned how to find and sense her own magic. How to feel it. How to utilize it to do small things. Simple things. She did some things she never thought she would be able to do. It was fun. Jun was a great teacher. He always joked around. Always made delicious herbal tea. And always sent Sarada off on the oddest little missions. Once she was tasked with catching a monkey for reasons unknown. Some other day she was tasked with forcing a leaf to fall through mental will alone. Once she had to sit on a mountain top for days.

"For your inner peace "Jun would say

It mattered not for whatever reason he made her do such things. She did them all without complaint and did them splendidly. Jun would praise her for her natural talent. For it was her natural talent that made using magic such an easy thing to learn.

All in all she was happy training with the old. She even received her very own gi. She was an official member of the cloud school. As ridiculous as it sounded. She never minded. Her gi was yellow in color with a red sash around the waist and similar colored wristbands and boots. On her chest and back was the Kanji for her school that she was very proud of..

Jun taught her a lot of things. She honed her skills as best she could. To perfection. That was her goal. The one skill she was most proud of was the ability to create nimbus clouds.

It was somehow as she hypothesized. The cloud were made through manipulating the water particals in the air. At least that is how she made them. By use of magic and spirit control the cloud was complete.

At first she could only create small clouds. Big enough for one person. The clouds always came out white in color. It would seem like any normal cloud in the sky. As the days went on and her training continued she could increase the size of her cloud as well as influence its color.

"There is more to cloud creation than one might think" Jun had told her one day. He had prepared the boar Sarada had hunted down. It was a delicious meal. Seasoned with the herbs he collected. "The nimbus can do more than fly you around"

That was when Sarada looked up at him with stuffed cheeks. She couldn't talk for she feared she would choke on her food. She could only tilt her head in question.

"If one is skilled enough they could use the cloud as protection. Armor. Weapons. Whatever one may choose" he informed her. His voiced filled with aged wisdom.

Sarada listened carefully. Not daring to interrupt. She was learning more and more from him everyday. She thought she knew of this world. She thought she knew its secrets, but she discovered Jun and her eyes were opened. What more secret lay hidden? Would she find them? How she dreamed of finding them. Studying them. Understanding their workings.

The reality of dragon ball was very fascinating.

"The type of weapon and armor is unique to its user" He went on.

Sarada wanted to ask a question. What was your armor like? Your weapon. Could I see it? Questions of that manner filled her head, but she remained quiet.

"It took me years to understand and control magic. To discover the nimbus and all its glorious abilities. Having obtained my goal I would like to pass on my knowledge before my time comes"

Sarada abruptly froze at that. Was the old man dying? He looked dead as it was, but Sarada did not think of the possibility. She knew the hermits in this world could live on to impossible ages. Master Roshi was the prime example. How old was that man come super and GT?

She didn't dare ask that question however.

And so her training went on. She had a new goal in mind. She would strive to achieve the armor and weapon made of the clouds. She would make Just proud.

"Sarada"

Sarada froze mid push up to look a her mother who walked into the room unaffected by the gravity. Sarada had manage to rope her mother into training in the room as well. Even if it was just a little bit. At least until she got used to gravity twenty times.

"You two have been in here the entire morning. It's time for a rest"

Sarada continued to do her push ups. She glanced at her brother to see him walking around somewhat normally. It seems he got used to the gravity to some degree. She sighed and pushed herelf onto her feet.

"I suppose. Kakarot can walk around now so I achieved my goal" she started to head towards the door. "Come, Kakarot"

"Panchy and I made sure to cook for you two" Gine informed as she settled Sarada's hair and kept an eye on the grinning Kakarot. He has been known to randomly wandering off on his own.

"Food! " he exclaimed and zapped past the two. They watched him run and dodge in the garden as he made his way towards the mansion. Gine was hoping he didn't break anything. Again.

"If he breaks anything I'm locking him in the room" Sarada mumbled.

"You will do no such thing. Have you forgotten What happened the last time he did that? "

"He had to struggle in intense gravity all the while dodging deadly drones for two hours after which he was bedridden for a week? "Sarada recounted the event like it wasn't anything serious. "He received an impressive zenkai boost. All's well that ends well"

"Your lack of concern for your brother is unsettling "

"It's not that I don't care. I just want him to be strong. For you to be strong. Strong enough to face any future danger that may present itself " Sarada said with a profound look on her face. She may be a bit hard on her brother when it came to training, but she was only training to protect him. To protect her mother. She may be strong, but she could not always be there for them. They would have to look out for themselves. She was worried. Something could happen to them later. When Vegeta arrived. When Frieza found out about that. It would all unravel.

Gine could sense the worry rolling off her daughter. It wasn't often that she revealed such feelings. She tends to remain calm and collected. Never too affected by anything. She would keep her cool and analyze. Scan. And plan. It was who she was. If she was worried it meant something was bothering her. Something she alone knew about and could not explained. It was substantial enough to cause the usual calm Sarada to worry.

"What's bothering you Sarada? "

Sarada remained quiet for some time. She stared ahead of her. She was deep in thought. Her eyes glazed over. She zoned out again. It wasn't as frequent anymore, but it was still an occurrence.

"Lots of things. Frieza is still out there and he has Raditz under his control. He fed them lies. He told them that an astroid was the destroyer of our planets. He was manipulating them"Sarada said softly. "Things will unravel. We will be found. Be it by Raditz or by Frieza himself, but when that time comes, danger will follow it"

"So we have to be strong "

Sarada nodded.

She shouldn't be thinking of such things. She was but a child. She was only five. But Gine figured she shouldn't expect her to behave like a normal child. She was thrust into battle when she was an infant. Tasked with the destruction of planets. To for see that it is concured. A normal childhood was never possible for her. For a saiyan.

The two made it to the kitchen. Panchy was happily humming as she prepared more food for the young Kakarot. He had emptied half the table. Bulma sat aside not at all fazed by the scene. It was a usual accurance by now. The only thing she had to worry herself with was her own food. Every now and then a pesky tail would try to steal what's on her plate.

"Kakarot if I see your tail anywhere near my food again, I will squeeze it so hard your ancestors will feel it" Bulma threatened with a glare.

The three year old froze, now debating whether or not he should reach for the juicy meat on the other's plate.

Sarada sat near her brother and filled a plate. She would limit herself to at least three plates today. Jun had told her something she started to test with her eating habits.

"You see young one, the mind is a powerful place and what you feed it can affect you in powerful ways"

The mind is the inception of living organisms. What you think affects everything you do. Your way of talking. Your way of walking. Your way of everything really. If you say to yourself that you'll never be great, you never will. And it's not because you're not. You are. One can be what ever They want to be. If you tell yourself you'll never be great then you won't because the hate will always find a way to cut you up and murder your faith.

That is something she learned from Jun and NF, a rapper she liked listening to in her last life. He was an inspiration to her. He always spoke from the heart. From his experiences.

So she was putting that ideology to test. She told herself she would eat three bowls and be full. Satisfied. But three bowls.

She had shufled some noodles into her mouth when she heard Kakarot scream in agony. She looked next to her to see him squirming and trying his best to pull his tail out of Bulma's grasp.

"Let go! Let go! Let go! Let go!" He yelled on the verge of tears.

Poor guy. He hadn't trained his tail enough. Not like Sarada. She told him to start working on it, but of course he did not listen. Now it's his fualt he was in pain. Bulma had warned him, now there was nothing the others could do. They could only sit and watch.

"Bulma, you'll have to release his tail at some point" Gine tried to reason

"That point isn't here yet"

Sarada couldn't help, but gently stroke her tail as if to comfort it. It was as if she could echo his pain. She felt very sorry for him, but he brought it upon himself.

So she continued to eat her noodles.

"The two most common elements in the universe are Hydrogen and stupidity"
