Synopsis
INDEFINITE HIATUS
Five hundred years ago, in 2025, humanity suddenly became immortal. Mortal wounds closed too quick to even be a bother. Nobody became able to age. Illnesses gave people stomachaches and not much else. Put simply, nobody could die.
Life went on for humankind, and for Enrique, who recently turned 525 years old. Like any other immortal, he lived a full life, several lifetimes over, and now he is tired. All he wants is to live out the rest of his infinite lifespan without thinking of anything.
One day, on a random, meaningless day much like that fateful one 500 years ago, something changes. A man shrivels up and dies. Then another. Then another. Humanity has lost its gift. And Enrique is no exception.
Follow Enrique as he travels across the country to his childhood home in order to fulfill a final wish, accompanied by a gloomy woman with a strong sense of justice and a robot who doesn’t really understand humans. The trio will encounter all manner of hardship, from bandits to warlords to corporate suckups, but thankfully, they can at least be immortal sometimes. But not the robot. It’s a robot.
What to expect:
