Over time I learned how to use the spiritual vision along with a sixth sense I gradually developed, which is like the ‘soul sense’ ability.

Soul sense is the primary requirement for any kind of cultivation, you need it to some extent to see or manipulate any kind of supernatural energy.

The soul sense is a field emitted by light spiritual energy belonging to a soul, where each soul has a unique soul sense and ability to influence it’s surroundings.

Soul sense can be used to both see and manipulate cultivation energies. At higher levels, it can also be used to see and manipulate reality itself.

At lower levels, people will question whether or not it is just them imagining something because the sensation itself is not natural, it instead comes from the soul. Believing in that ‘imagination’ and understanding how to use it to cultivate is the first step on cultivating.

The light spiritual energy in the core of the soul generates and emits the soul sense, the volume of the field produced by the soul.

The stable grey spiritual energy strengthens the control over the soul sense, allowing the conscious use of the field to pull in and manipulate things within it more effectively.

The dark spiritual energy absorbs part of the soul sense, effectively weakening it.

However, a common concept in cultivation is the refinement process.

If I want to craft a cultivation method for the soul, it must have the capability for refinement, condensation, and manipulation of spiritual energy.

If it is incapable of any of the three, it won’t be able to grow effectively.

The refinement process is crucial in the cultivation of the soul as it refines the raw spiritual energy into a purer and more potent form, enabling the soul to become stronger and more resilient even within what is generally considered the same cultivation realm.

The condensation process works with the refinement process, allowing the refined spiritual energy to be condensed and compressed within the soul, eventually allowing for qualitative breakthroughs. According to what kind of changes this results in, which will vary per reality, the distinct changes caused by condensation become known and the distinction between cultivation realms.

Often, cultivators can completely ignore the refinement process and focus purely on condensation to become stronger. However, this is generally known to eventually cause issues later due to the impurities, sometimes making it impossible to compress further and permanently stagnating their cultivation.

Manipulation of energy is also critical, since the growth and condensing of cultivation will constantly require more and more energy with each growth in cultivation realm.

If your manipulation of energy is too weak, you will never be able to properly gather enough energy for the next breakthrough, and may even stagnate and lose energy due to lacking control over what you have already gathered. This is what is known as cultivation stagnation.

In worse cases where your cultivation process goes severely wrong to the point of damaging your soul, it can indirectly warp your mind. Perhaps driving you insane or to act in erratically.

These aspects are all critical. And all necessary. And somehow these need to be put together based off of my basic knowledge of spiritual energy.

Basing cultivation methods off of naturally occurring phenomena seems like the best approach, but I also have to account for the reality of how the energies function and how I need to use them.

Light and grey energy are positive or neutral, so I can incorporate them into my soul itself without too much worry. And then dark energy can be something I consciously collect and cycle or orbit the dark energy around the soul in order to refine and condense it.

Mimicking the composition of an atom to some extent with the positrons and neutrons as the core of the atom, and electrons orbiting it.

This approach could create a stable foundation for manipulating the energies within my soul.

However, putting them in haphazardly could be bad in this scenario. The soul core should expose as much grey energy of the soul to the outside as possible to maximize my control capabilities. While ensuring the white energy is compressed and still easy enough for me to absorb more energy into it.

For that reason, it seems like a ‘control tower’ approach may be best. Recognizing that it acts like a field, it would be best to keep everything balanced.

So, the first phase should be a ‘bipolar’ soul.

Creating spiritual control towers on opposite sides of the soul to establish the first phase of cultivation.

These control towers will serve as anchors, allowing for the efficient distribution and absorption of both grey and white energy within the soul.

Slowly pulling in grey energy, I gradually form the base of the control towers, cementing and melding it with the soul via white energy and then gradually building them upwards.

Over a period of a few days I gradually build up the towers until they feel ‘right’.

Finally, I start trying to pull in energy again. Instead of pulling energy in one piece at a time, I can instead pull the energy in by spinning around the center between the poles. As I spin with increasing speed, the energies mix together and orbit my soul.

If I absorb them as they are it will cause an amalgamation of energy in my soul, basically reverting it to the natural state. Doing that would be pointless.

Instead I need to find a way to separate the types of energy and direct them where they need to go while performing collection of the energy, eliminating the need to direct them one at a time.

The best way to filter them would be to have multiple forces acting on it that cause the grey energy to trend towards the poles while the white energy stays in orbit, and the dark energy should be repelled.

Taking a dark particle, I begin to combine it with other dark particles, as I do so it creates a stronger overall suction force on the other particles. Observing it, the suction force of dark spirit energy is clearly stronger over grey spirit energy than it is over light, and it is far stronger at absorbing dark energy. Meaning I can use dark energy as the filter.

Creating a larger and larger dark energy satellite to orbit my soul, the absorbed energy clearly begins to separate into light and grey bands, while all the dark falls into the satellite.

As the satellite grows stronger it starts pulling the grey energy more than my soul, at that point I know I need to stop.

Controlling my soul sense, I ensure the purity of the light spiritual energy, and then merge it into my soul forcefully, then I split the grey energy in two and gradually spin them around the towers until they merge into them.

Finally, I begin cycling the satellite energy about my soul to refine it.

After I finish, I can feel my soul having grown stronger.

My first cultivation session was complete.
