 It was raining heavily all day long. There wasn't a shimmer of sunlight. In a primary health centre located in an underdeveloped village a woman was admitted due to labour pain. The child was in a critical position and the doctor was struggling to save the mother's life. As it would take 2 days to reach the nearest hospital, there was the risk of loosing both lives during the journey. Hence the doctor advised the husband otherwise and had convinced him. It was a hard decision to make and he knew he couldn't face his wife properly after this but he made a cold decision to save his wife. After 3 hours of Struggle the doctor and the two nurses managed to deliver the baby which died at birth.

      The Doctor called the Husband and asked him to sign the forms for the follow-up procedures. . Now its raining both outside and inside the Health center.  Tears dripped down his eyes and made wetspots on the application form as he hesitantly signed them. He requested the doctor to let his wife have a last look before the post-mortem procedure. When he tried to wake his wife, something choked his throat. It felt hard to breath. With great diffculty, he overcame his guilt of not consenting his wife and called to her with a heavy heart. As she opened her eyes, her husband was standing watching her tired face with dead child in his arms. The Moment she heard of what had happened she  burst into tears and her wails were dampened by the Torrential rains. She cried in pain for hours and refused to return the  dead child. her husband tried to persaude her but in vain.
