I'm here to let you guys know that I've placed this story on hiatus and more importantly hopefully get some of you to check out the other story I'm working on!
New Story (Binary Progression)
The new story takes place in an MMO - the moderators quit, the server is in chaos and the game is by no means beginner-friendly.
A duo (and soon trio) form a party in order to help the newcomer to the game level up - the party consists of a raid-veteran turn roleplayer (not necessarily a good one), a newcomer to the MMO genre as a whole, and a cheater who takes advantage of the lack of authority to make a business.
The story is a comedy divided into serious and funny arcs - if you enjoyed the humour and dislike the structure/inconsistencies of 'The Chronic Reincarnator' I'm confident 'Binary Progression' will be at the very least drastically better than 'The Chronic Reincarnator'

Why is this story on hitus?
There are four main reasons...
1) There was simply too much technically wrong with the story to keep it afloat
2) That characters weren't particularly interesting aside from some gimmicks,
3) Nothing interesting happens for half of the 100k story :D
4) I'm confident I can do better, nobody is more sore about me no longer writing for this story than me, this felt like my magnum opus - but I'd be a horrible writer to pretend everything is alright and waste your time with sub-part writing.
I do think I will continue the story in the future - after all, there is a lot of world-building that's done, and I think the concept as a whole was not bad - but that's going to take time and dedication which at the moment I'm pouring into 'Binary Progression'
Regardless of whether you choose to check out 'Binary Progression' or no - I'm grateful for your time and views - and I wholeheartedly apologise if you feel you wasted your time by engaging with this dumpster fire of a story.
