Agh!

Gah!

Kang said whilst gasping for air. His neck felt tight, something was wrapped around it. Kang looked down, he saw he was floating in the air? No, he was hung by a noose.

He managed to escape the suicide attempt, Where the hell am I!, he said whilst gasping for air. He quickly looked around the room, “A… bedroom?”

The room was small and cramped. A bed on his left, a desk with a wooden chair on the right, and a glass window in front of him. 

“This isn’t my room”… Kang mumbled. He stood up, he kept looking around the cramped space. The desk had two drawers, one on the right, one on the left.

He opened the left drawer, inside was an identification card. 

The name on the card was Cid Cargrauh, age 19. Who is this? Kang thought, he kept examining the card. The card read “Status: attending school at Koh Academy of excellence”

Kang placed the card back in the drawer, he looked outside of the window. There seemed to be a thick fog outside of the building, he could make out a silhouette of a mediaeval city, with towers and gothic architecture.

Kang opened the door in the middle of his bedroom, he walked outside, trying to not make a noise. 

He heard a woman screaming on the floor below. Kang quickly ran down and saw a man in a long trench coat stabbing a defenceless woman.

This is my chance to become a hero! Kang thought. 

Then he felt a sharp pain in his neck, he touched his neck, and saw.. blood?

His vision started getting blurry,  with blood gushing out of his neck and pouring down on the ground beneath him.

Is this how I’m gonna die? Kang thought whilst gasping for air. 

Then, he heard the sound of gushing blood stop, along with his heart.
