Prologue

For centuries war raged, empires and their kingdoms put aside their differences for a common foe. The world was slowly dying, mana drained as Indora spread his domain. Vibrant forests replaced by white sand, the worlds vitality slowly draining as death drew closer each day.

At the center of the white desert, a giant’s skull lay embedded on the rough grainy sand, the only indicator of life that once was. Indole had made this skull his base of operations and from here, he slowly drained the worlds mana. Leveling as a world was precarious early on as the world sought to defend itself but once the domain was set, there was no coming back for any world.

Indora had learnt to be patient, a rushed meal brought more chaos, so he had learnt to take his time. The insects that came constantly to harass him had at some point been entertaining but with time he grew bored. Their miserable attempts at his life grew dull and he no longer bothered to check his enchantments. At this point they killed anything that came close. This was his domain and even though he enjoyed the occasional delicacy from the accumulated death energy, he knew that overindulgence ruined the best of meals. Add time and anything would grow bland and unappetizing. Death energy still had a slight kick, and he enjoyed the change in his monotonous lifestyle. Life energy, served well, his sweet tooth.

He lay in his abode, time, it was merely a matter of time and he had that in abundance.
