YUE HUANG

As Xing Peng went through the memories, he soon found out that the previous owner of this body was called as Yue Huang. He was from Yue family and also the son of Yue Yi, who was an elder in the Yue family. As Xing Peng went through the memories, he found out that this Yue family was quite strong and was one of the four major powers in Tingxin empire. Yue Huang had traveled with his father and some delegates of the Yue family to observe a martial tournament which was being held in a neighboring empire, the Lushu empire.

Xing Peng simply stopped going through the memories right there.

martial arts! cultivation! Wasn't this the thing which only existed in the novels? How was this possible? But then again since reincarnation could be said to be possible, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if cultivation existed too.

Nevertheless, Xing Peng was excited. He had at times wished to experience what it would have been like to be in a world which was like those depicted in the novels that he had read and now that he knew that he was in such a world, it all felt like a dream to him but he knew that all of this was in fact real. very much real.

Xing Peng continued to go through the memories and felt that this Yue Huang was truly a wolf in a sheep's clothing. Although Yue Huang was only 17-year-old and looked very much like a woman, he could be considered as a debauchee of a high caliber. He loved gambling and he wasn't like those other spoilt debauchees from other prominent families who just spent money away by gambling foolishly, this guy had true skills in gambling and had a huge track record of winning.

This truly surprised Xing Peng, wasn't this guy simply the God of gambling? As Xing Peng had inherited Yue Huang's memories, he also got hold of all the latter's gambling skills and experiences.

But that was not what troubled Xing Peng, according to the memories this Yue Huang was the black sheep of the Yue family. Although this Yue family was one of the four major powers from the Tingxin empire, they were known for their sword mastery and disciplined behavior.

So it was not much of a surprise for Yue Huang to not get along well with his family. Although many people from the family didn't like the latter's behavior, they couldn't do anything about it as he was the only son of a Yue family elder.

So one could say that many people simply didn't like Yue Huang, especially those unfortunate people who had gambled with him. As Xing Peng went through the chap's memories, he found out that there was a large group of people who simply hated or disliked this guy.

Given how this guy was found dead below the tree, Xing Peng found out from the latter's memories that he had suddenly fainted when he was sitting under the tree. This was obviously unnatural no matter how one put it! If one sits somewhere only to suddenly faint and find themselves dead then there won't be any people left in the world.

This was what worried Xing Peng, what would the killer think if he saw "Yue Huang" still alive? Wouldn't he try to kill him again then?

Xing Peng, who had already died once didn't obviously want to die again and it was not a given if he might even manage to reincarnate the next time or might once again find himself roaming around aimlessly in that bleak space for the rest of eternity. Either way, he didn't want to die to find that out.

As Xing Peng had completely gone through the memories of Yue Huang and successfully assumed the latter's identity, he also came to know the reason why there were no men in this town. It wasn't that there weren't any, it was just that due to the once-in-a-decade martial tournament that was being held, all of them had gone to attend it. Especially those young hot-blooded youths and other people who cultivated. That was why those who remained here were the women folk who didn't cultivate and chose to stay back to do household chores.

And it also turned out that this Yue Huang actually wanted to try indulging in the "adult stuff", given that the people his age would tend to be more attracted towards the opposite sex and given the weak self-control that Yue Huang had, it was only a matter of time before the latter began indulging himself in women.

Actually, Yue Huang didn't really want to do that, initially, his only purpose was to sneak away from the "boring" martial tournament and go around and kill some time but after hours of roaming around, he stumbled upon this small town where everywhere he went he only saw women! There were absolutely no men here, let alone strong men and he realized that they must have gone to watch the martial tournament. Immediately upon thinking of this, Yue Huang felt a strong urge to taste some of these countryside women. Unfortunately for him, he never got to do his deed and was sent to Yama instead.

After he had gone through the memories, Xing Peng had wanted to go and observe the martial tournament as he was very much interested in cultivation. He also felt that this Yue Huang was a wastrel, although the latter belonged to a prominent martial family, the Yue family, he had still never seen a single cultivation technique in his life before! Truly what a waste.

It was a wonder why his father, who was an elder in the family heavily doted upon him and spoiled him so much.

Even though Xing Peng wanted to go to the martial tournament, he didn't dare to. Who knew whether the killer who originally killed Yue Huang was still nearby? Then wouldn't that killer try to go after him again when he saw that "Yue Huang" was still alive?

Xing Peng knew that sooner or later it would be revealed to the party responsible for Yue Huang's death, that "Yue Huang" was still alive.

But to prevent them from getting to know about this fact sooner, Xing Peng decided to lay low and assuming that the killer might still be around the town, Xing Peng who was the new Yue Huang, decided to hide in the town and sneak out at night. As Xing Peng had gone through all the memories of Yue Huang, he knew that the martial tournament would last for about a week. So there was really no hurry in trying to get there.

As Yue Huang roamed cautiously through the town trying to find a place to hide until the night, there was a clear voice heard from behind him.

"Young master Huang, what are you doing here?"

There was a clear trace of disbelief heard in that voice and this almost caused a breakdown for Yue Huang.
