"If you don't mind would you please follow me"
Threading her arms through the robe Chris nodded her head. Glancing around the room she saw a few priests were silently waiting for their assigned "hero" to finish getting ready, while others had started making their way back towards the door. Feeling numb Chris followed after her priest, making their way out of the doors she couldn't help but feel uneasy at the size of them. Various patterns and images seemed to depict grotesques monsters fight various knights.
Taking a moment to gather herself she made an effort to catch back up with her priest who hadn't slowed down, they made a brisk pace down a long corridor that was mostly empty apart from the foot steps of other people, they eventually reached a set of spiral stairs and began to make their way up ignoring the exits onto a few floors till they arrived at GF 2.
"I know it's not ideal but please don't wonder off and try to stay to any designated areas, if you wonder to far you may be arrested and thrown in a cell, at least until it can be verified if your really an other worlder and not a spy. So please try to be aware that no one knows who you are here."
"Ok".
"Please this way", resuming their journey they made their way through a brightly lite hallway filled with furniture, lights, and odd artifacts. The walls were a bright white with the floor being wooden and creaking every now and again from their steps. Taking a left and then a right Chris began to realize how utterly lost she was in the ocean of endless hallways and doors.
"Where are we?"
"In the great and majestic Kingdom, more accurately your in a castle, in the beating heart of our great prosperous Kingdom".
"Oh so what's the name of your country?"
"Kingdom"
"Wait that's the name"
"Yes is that a problem?" Turning around the priest closed the distance between the two of them and intensely looked into Chris's eye, the unblinking gaze sent a shive down her spine.
"No, no problem, it's just. I was kind of expecting something different".
The priest didn't reply straight away and let the silence hang in the air for a bit before turning around and resuming their walk. "Miss other worlder I would recommend you temper your expectations and beliefs, I'm more than willing to answer anything you wish to ask, but you should know others may not take your reactions as patiently as I".

Feeling a slight annoyance at the lecture Chris bit her tongue and settled into the quiet walk again, reaching the end of the hallway they exited a door into the outside and followed a sheltered path along the building, blue flower lined either side of the path and towering building blocked out the view. Reaching a junction they took another left before entering another building with a cross above the doors. "For the first few days we'll give you a check over mentally and physically, then if everything turns out in tip top shape we'll send you on your way. Do note there's certain expectations that if you can fight your expected to join the knightly order".
"What happens to those unwilling or unable?".
"They're kicked out".
Clicking the door shut they made their way further into the building only stopping to let a sectary stationed at the front know they were here. It wasn't long before they came to a door numbered 404, clicking it open the priest held the door open and ushered Chris in. Inside was a room with 2 couches and a coffee table, it had 3 doors leading to other rooms. One Chris could make out was a bedroom and another was a kitchen. Moving inside the 3rd room the priest went in and after a bit of rustling came back with a blue orb and small stack of paper. "Now we can get the introductions underway please have a seat there and I'll answer any questions you have, and in return I'd like to ask some basic things as well as checking your stats".
Sitting the orb down the priest shuffled her paper around and got comfortable and let out a sigh of content as she waited patiently for Chris to lead the conversation.
"Who are you?".
"Oh I knew I forgot something introductions right, my names Sophie a priest of the righteous church I'm to be your book of answers for the first couple of days. At least until you make a decision on how you want to spend the rest of your life, now if you don't mind me replying with what's your name".
"My names Chris". Sophie then pulled out a pen from her pocket and began scribbling some notes down on the paper.
"Wait you guys know what a pen is".
"Yup you other worlders usually bring with you a lot of ideas and technology so we usually adopt some of it. Though to be fair that's less common these days". With a final scribble Sophie took her eyes off her sheet and glance back up at Chris.
"What else would you like to know or would you rather get onto the other things".
"Where's my old body?"
"On earth unfortunately, we're only able to pull the souls of the deceased through the multiverse. Anything else that latches onto the process usually burns up into little tiny pieces. Now onto your next possible question no that isn't someone else's body, you can most probably research it later if you want but using living or deceased bodies usually creates more problems than solution. Though it's not unheard of for it to occur naturally". Sophie was spinning her pen in her hand as she rattled off her points.
"Is my body not real?".
"Hrrmmmm yes and no it's complicated, I think the easiest way to put it is your parent right now are a pair of fairies, and if you don't mind I'd rather leave it at that since I'm not educated enough on the process to explain it properly. As for you yourself yes, your real that soul is yours and yours alone and so are the memories that come with it".
"I'm a fairy?".
"Nope your a human".
"But you just said I'm a kid of 2 fairies".
"Not literally but in some way's yes"
Crossing his arms Chris fixed Sophie with a scowl "In what ways am I fairy and not a fairy" closing her eyes Sophie let out a sigh a rubbed her temple. "Do you want the long or short answer".
