Third person's POV
On a cold winter night of December, just the day before Christmas, snow and hail cruelly poured from the heavens to a city isolated from the world's chaos and corruption. Families cozily cooped up inside their homes, sharing laughter and love.
Yet unbeknownst to everyone, in the woods just beside the houses, a weeping child was running away from a burning prison, her cries casted away by the chaos and disaster coming from the building.
She willfully weaved her way through the forest under the falling snow as she ignored her skin that stung as it was whipped by the branches of trees and plants that she hastily passed through. She just kept on running and running as if there was no tomorrow.
She was suddenly stopped on her tracks as she banged herself to something hard, and landed on ground with a loud thud. She just laid there as she bawled her eyes out.
She was about to give up when soft and slender arms hugged her from the front, strong arms that seemed like it could wrestle with a bull held her protectively but at the same time, gentle and soft, as if it was carrying a newborn baby.
Out of reflex, she looked up and saw a pair of gentle golden eyes staring at her. It was a woman in her 20s or probably just 20. She had night black hair that had some (a lil bit) shining golden streaks on it, and it reached her waist. She was wearing a black frilly dress with intricate gold(again) spirals design, and a black boots with the same design; she is strangely neat though. She totally looked out of place being here in the middle of a thick forest with her outfit.
Somehow, she felt strangely comfortable with her. The moment the woman hugged her, she immediately felt a sense of security and safety. Curious about what she felt, she stared questioningly at the woman, who seemed to have gotten her message as she replied immediately.
"I'll tell you, but it should be our secret okay?" the woman smiled as she pressed her index finger on her lips.
The child simply nodded.
"Actually, I'm your mother."
She stared at her like she was insane.
"No, really. I am your mother. And I am really, really, really sorry for not being with you and your father the whole time. I have some very very important matters that I took care of, and I know that someday you will understand why I needed to. But now, a war is about to break out and only a very few places around the world are safe. So trust mommy okay?"
The child nodded though she didn't really understand it fully.
The woman smiled and kissed the child on the forehead before picking her up, and carrying her like a baby.
"Trust me, okay? Everything will be alright." she gave her daughter a reassuring smile then she sprinted off.
She started darting with inhuman speed through the woods like the plants and trees that blocked her way were nothing. She sprinted off like a hungry wolf out on a hunt.
After a few quick turns and 'near-kissing-the-trees-and-boulders' scenes, she finally stopped in front of a humongous wall-like stone mountain. She put the child down for awhile and moved the huge boulder beside her, under it were 10 protruding square stones. She started pressing buttons and when she finished, she stood up, slit her palm and pressed it against the stone mountain. Her hands started glowing, then right after it glowed, almost simultaneously, a path opened where her hand was before.
She carried the child again and brought her inside.
After a few minutes of walking they finally entered a shrine. When they entered, the people that they passed bowed to them, or to be more specific, to the woman.
They arrived at a garden in the middle of the shrine. She walked over to the monk who sat there in the middle meditating
"Yo Jellie. Long time no see." the woman said grinning.
The man opened his eyes and looked at the woman with an irritated expression and replied,"Please don't call me that. It gives the impression that I'm some kind of jelly-beans-crazed brat who likes to bathe in rainbows and kiss unicorns. And it's a really horrible sight to imagine."
"Well, it is... but you do like jelly beans very much. You even carry boxes of it with you everywhere."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, see?" she mocked as she held up two boxes of sweet & sour jelly beans.
"Okay, fine, you got me now give it back!" he said as he snatched it away from her.
"What do you need?" he asked her.
"I want you to take care of our children."
"Hey, what do you think of me? A babysitter for dangerous kids?" he asked.
"Heh. You talk as if you are a normal person , when you're not. And besides, we were the ones who took care of you ever since you were a newborn child, so now, it's your turn to return the favor. Beat them up for me, and don't hold back." she said smiling.
"Wow. So you guys already have children huh?"
"Yeah we already have. And if you don't take care of them properly, I'll make sure that you won't get to see your successors in the near future ^__^"
"Chill dude, I just can't believe it. And as for your daughter, yeah I could. I couldn't refuse you, my dear cousin. I'd still want to see my successors in the future. So, where's your daughter?"
"Here." she motioned at her arms.
"What? I thought she was girl?" he asked bewildered.
"Just because a person has a bald head(whisper:like yours) and dressed in a boy's clothes, it's already a guy? Couldn't it be that it's just a girl whose head was shaved under a certain circumstance and forced to wear something un-girly?" she answered, starting to get impatient on how long their conversation is taking.
"Sorry!" monk
She handed her over to him, but when he took a look at the child, he was shocked.
"Wha-? This was one of my students before!" he asked puzzled.
"Ikr. It's because of those 7 freakos that she ended up like this. The 'monsters' were already about to arrive the prison, so they had no other way. They shaved her hair and made her like a guy."
"Oh, okay. So when are you getting back?" the monk asked.

"I won't be coming back here but after 1000 years you will go to my brother's house—wherever that is in the future—and stay there. Wait and we will come back soon."
"Uh huh."
"And also, give this notebook and box to her a year before you depart to find my brother. Are we clear?"
"Yes ma'am." he answered, saluting jokingly.
She knelt down at her daughter and held her by her shoulders. She gazed and smiled at her lovingly for a moment then opened her mouth to talk.
"Baby, mommy will not be coming back here okay? Someday, you will receive a letter, and what your decision is going to be will depend on whether we will or not see each other again. Also, I might not be able to survive this war, but I'll do my best to stay alive for you. Okay?"
The child nodded as she cried.
"Mommy~ *sniff* *sniff* TT^TT Uwaaahhh" the kid wailed.
"Hush my child. It'll be okay. You're strong. I know you would overcome this. Alright?" she assured her daughter as she hugged her tightly, tears making their way down her cheeks.
The child only nodded again in response.
The woman smiled and kissed the child for the last time, and then she brought her hand on the child's forehead. Her hand started glowing as it slid down the child's face, then stopped when she finished.
The child collapsed on the woman's shoulder.
"We've made her memories blurry, so it means, until she reads the things that I've given her, her memories would be blurry." she said to the man.
"Fine. Now off you go. Ya still got a world to save brat."
"Hmmf. Don't 'brat' me ya' psychotic monk."
She walked towards the door, and half-way, 6 other women joined her. Just before they stepped out of the door, the monk spoke.
"Are you sure you want me to go all out on them? They might die." he asked, worry written all over his face.
They looked over their shoulder and with a smirk they replied,
"Are you kidding me?" the woman with a blonde hair said.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself." the woman on blonde's right with black hair scoffed.
"You must've forgotten that they are our children." a woman with snow white hair and red eyes reminded.
"They won't die." the other one with a blue hair said.
"They might even kick your butt." another with brown hair mocked.
"And we're sure of it." yet another one with a green hair said confidently.
They retrieved their gazes and walked forward. Before the door closed, the woman with gold eyes said, "Tell them to prove to us that they've learned something, and they're not weak, and worthy to be called our children. Tell them that we weren't wrong to bring them to this world." With that, they continued to leave, shutting the door hard behind them. The sound rang through the shrine. And it will probably be the last time it would make that sound again for a long time.

1000 years later~
A man woke up and stood from his bed. He started stretching while muttering,"Well... That was quite a long dream... And a weird one at that."
Then realization struck him.
"That guy was psydy(psycho+baldy)"
He immediately ran to the head's place and told his story. The monk sighed and nodded his head.
"Yep it's true—" he was cut off when 6 other people barged in.
"Did you hear it?"
They all nod.
"Sigh~ So... What are your choices?" the monk asked.
The seven of them looked at each other, their eyes communicating. Then at that moment they all reached a decision. With fire dancing in their eyes, they all looked back at him and replied (almost)in unison,
"We'll find them. We'll prove to them to them that we were worth the effort to bring to this world."
Then a turquoise-eyed guy spoke up "But the question is, who are our parents?"
The monk smiled and said,"That's for me to know and you to find out."
"Baldy!"
"Really. I'm not allowed to tell you. Besides, they left you with something remember? It contains clues."
He got up and went to a cabinet by the door. He took out 7 boxes with each's name on the cover. He sat again in front of them and handed the boxes.
"The first thing you'll be seeing when you open the boxes would be their pictures." he explained.
They held the covers and inhaled sharply.
"Are you guys ready?" the guy who had orange eyes asked.
They nodded in response. They all counted.
"One... Two... Three. Go!"
They simultaneously opened the covers. When the lid was removed, almost simultaneously, their eyes bulged.
"Oh poop O___O" all 7.

Hey yo! Pink reporting in! ^___^/ If you ever read this, thank you very much for reading my sloppy story. Even though it's sloppy, I hope you'll support this story coz I'll do my best to improve the story in the further chapters. And in my journey(hehe what a word) on improving/developing my writing skills please help me improve by pointing out my mistakes. If you have any suggestions on how the story would progress or what the characters would be like or what they'd do in that situation, coz sometimes(most of the time maybe) my characters may make decisions that are out of their character to do so. So please help me *dogeza* And should I even write in the next chapter on how they would be beating the priest? or should I just post it in the future chapters so at least it would be more decent? coz I get the feeling that if I write it in the second chapter, it would take me very very long to post the chapter and that you would be disappointed on how their battle would progress. So... should I post it or not? But in my opinion, I think I should just post it later on, like a flashback or something.
P.S. I would be happy even if you just commented a smiley, coz at least, you took a little effort to post it right? ^___^v
P.S.S. And if you also read my note up to here, another thanks ^^
