Xenia walked back over to the bank manager who sat scared-stiff at his desk, “You’re up, Mr. Manager.”
The manager stared at her wide-eyed and then pointed to himself, “M-Me?”
“Walk with me.” Xenia turned the corner, and the manager followed her until she stopped directly in front of the vault door, “I need you to open the vault’s outer door for me.”
The manager looked at the door and paused before breaking bad news to Xenia, “Ma’am.”
Xenia looked at him expectantly, and he continued, “I can open the outer door; however, I cannot open the inner vault door. I believe you will find the items you seek are within the inner vault door.”
She took a step closer to him and smiled as she caressed his face, “Open the outer door. Leave the inner door to me.”
He nodded, but before he could get to work, his cell phone began to ring. Xenia motioned for him to answer it, and he did, “Hello?”
“This is Captain Clark of the police department. Please put Miss Sareena Night on the phone.”
The manager handed the phone to Xenia, “It-It’s for you.”
Xenia took the phone in her hand. Before she answered it, she turned to the manager, “Get to work on this door. When I return, we may need to close it quickly. Be a good boy for me and ready yourself for my return.”
The manager shook his head ‘yes’ as Xenia walked off bringing the phone up to her ear.
“To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to?” Xenia walked past the row of hostages that remained and stood looking out the front floor-to-ceiling window. The rain had turned to a torrential downpour, lightning strikes were frequent, and thunder rumbled the ground below.
“This is Captain Clark of the police department. We can meet your demands whatever they may be. We only ask that you release the hostages in good faith.”
Xenia’s smile grew even wider, “Meet my demands whatever they may be? I like the sound of that. You have a deal.”
Captain Clark was caught off guard, “A deal? I am happy to hear that you will be releasing the hostages unharmed. Can you give me more details on our side of the deal, so that we may fulfill it to the best of our abilities?”
Xenia hung up the phone and continued to smile as she looked out the window and said to herself, “My demands whatever they may be. I demand death.”
She then twirled around briskly and barked at the hostages, “You are all free to go!”
The hostages looked at one another with utmost confusion as Xenia stormed off heading up the stairs to the second level.
She shouted down from the second floor, “Leave now! And be quick if you wish to live. The plaza below is soon to be a warzone.”
The hostages wasted no time after hearing her words. They all stood up and ran out the shattered front door, down the steps, and towards the line of police cars and SWAT vehicles.
The hostages crossed the police line and urgently began to relay Xenia’s words. A police officer called for the captain, “Captain Clark! The hostages have been released! They have important information for you that I think you will want to hear!”
Clark rushed over, “Well, what is it? Did she send her demands with you all?”
One of the hostages shook his head, “All she said was that this plaza was soon to be a warzone.”
Clark grunted and shook his head, “Thank you. Please see our medical officers in the ambulance before taking your leave.”
Clark then turned around and shouted, “Weapons hot! Imminent threat gentleman! Assume a defensive formation and wait for her next move!”
He then sat down in the lone armored vehicle in the response team and spoke in to the radio, “I don’t like the way things are going here. Hostages are released, but we expect an imminent threat from assailant. Send three helicopter excursion teams.”
Meanwhile, within the second floor of the bank, Xenia stood in front of a wall of glass window panes overlooking the plaza. She formed a void portal summoning an M134 Minigun in her right hand which she steadied by holding the top grip with her left hand.
She left the portal open where a chain of ammo fed from the portal and into the minigun. Beyond the portal, Nero ensured the ammo belt consisting of over 100,000 rounds fed through the portal seamlessly to feed the minigun without tangling or pausing.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Xenia looked down at the minigun she held in her hands, and she then looked through the window at the line of police cars and emergency vehicles. She moaned to herself and then said, “Time to meet my demands, Captain.”
She held the gun with both hands against her hip and pressed the trigger down firmly holding it there. The multiple barrels began to spool, and then the gun lit up, and the glass shattered instantaneously. In addition to the storm overhead, the plaza below now had a storm of bullets raining down to the tune of 6,000 rounds per minute.
Xenia laughed as she swept the gun across the police line eviscerating patrol cars with ease causing people to run for cover in all directions. However, nowhere was safe. The SWAT vehicles were chewed through, and the ambulance housing the hostages exploded after a few thousand rounds tore through it.
The casualty count skyrocketed, and Captain Clark ushered in as many people as he could into the one armored vehicle on sight, “Get in! Get in! Come on! Get in!”
Once the vehicle was packed full, he closed the door and sealed it shut as he jumped on the radio, “Where are those damn helicopters! Inform St. Michael we need his assistance!”
Xenia still had ammunition feeding from the portal; however, she had held the trigger down for several minutes with no pause, and the barrels were beginning to overheat and melt. As the gun spooled down, she stood there moaning and breathing heavy as if she had just had intense and pleasurable sex. She tossed the minigun aside and looked on at the now deadly silent police line with bodies littering the ground.
She eyed the armored vehicle and smiled as she said to herself, “Literally shooting fish in a barrel.”
She then summoned a .50 caliber M95 Barrett rifle complete with an attached scope sighted in to perfection. It was the same rifle she had dueled Felton with back in the BloodStar Empire. Needless to say, she was an expert marksman.
As her target was a stationary armored vehicle, she stood and took aim. Her clip was filled with armor-piercing bullets, and she began to blindly fire at the armored vehicle penetrating its hull with each shot.
From within the armored vehicle, a powerful shot tore through the heavy armor entering the vehicle and piercing the first victim through the chest killing her instantly. Another shot, another shot, and another began to tear through the vehicle. Several bullets made contact with people inside, and the bullets that didn’t ricocheted within the hull without enough power to escape through the armor on the other side.
After shooting her fish in a barrel, Xenia grew tired of such lack of sport. She dropped the high-powered rifle back into a portal and summoned an M202 FLASH shoulder-fired rocket launcher with four tubes.
She fired the first rocket at the armored vehicle. The vehicle withstood the explosion; however, the incendiary rocket caught fire to the armored vehicle as it slowly began to cook those inside. The occupants were now faced with the equally unappealing options of cooking to death inside the vehicle or shot to death outside the vehicle.
The occupants decided to make a run for it as staying inside meant certain death. However, as soon as the back ramp opened, another rocket landed squarely into the rear of the vehicle killing everyone inside instantly.
Xenia held the smoking rocket launcher on her shoulder as she looked on to a now eerily quiet plaza. However, the silence was broken as the whirring of three helicopters could be heard coming over the buildings ahead.
Without wasting a second, she fired her remaining two rockets taking out two of the helicopters in a fiery blaze as they crashed down to the plaza below. The third helicopter landed on the roof, and four tactical officers began their assault from the roof where they gained access to the building.
Xenia smiled to herself as she dropped the rocket launcher back into a portal, “How fun. They are bringing the party to me.”
She summoned a 12-guage automatic shotgun and prepared to welcome her guests. The power flickered as the storm raged. She lurked around dark corners taking quiet steps until the first tactical officer rounded a corner only to meet the direct blast of her shotgun to his chest. Although the officer wore body armor, the point-blank range fire tore through his armor and hollowed out his chest.
Xenia continued to quietly and stealthily lurk as she approached the second and third officers from behind. She came to within three feet and blasted her shotgun into the head of one of the officers completely taking his head off. The other turned around only to be met with a shotgun blast to the front of his face taking his head off as well.
The fourth officer rounded a corner ten feet away and immediately began firing at Xenia. She returned fire as she dodged behind a wall. Her shotgun blast caught the final officer in the shoulder knocking him to the ground.
She heard his cries of pain and walked out into the open to meet him, “Does it hurt? I love when men hurt so good for me.”
The officer looked up at her in her sexy black and shiny pvc dress and feared for his life. She forced the barrel of her shotgun into his mouth and promptly pulled the trigger causing his head to explode all over the floor and surrounding furniture.
She had shuddered breath of pleasure; however, her enjoyment was cut short as she heard heavy footsteps from across the plaza.
She approached the blown out second-floor windows and saw three Holy Knights in full armor approaching armed with only their swords.
She smiled to herself, “Oh fun. Things have escalated to an imperial matter. Perfect.”
The three knights scoffed at the carnage as they crossed the plaza, “I can’t believe St. Michael sent us, members of his personal Holy Guard, to deal with such trifle matters.”
Another knight chuckled, “Reports of miniguns, rockets, sniper rifles… no reports of ki.”
The third knight laughed outright, “No ki? Then this opponent will be no fun.”
They approached the steps leading up to the bank to find a woman in a drop-dead sexy dress wielding a pistol. She looked down at them noticing their armor insignia, “Members of the Holy Guard? Have I really been that bad of a girl?”
The lead knight smiled up at her, “We would agree that you haven’t been that bad. Let us take care of this matter, so we may return to our real duties.”
Another knight whispered, “Do we have to kill her? She looks fun.”
Xenia summoned a sword in her right hand and held her pistol in her left hand, “Oh I am fun.”
The lead knight whispered to the other knights, “Careful. She can use ki.”
Xenia laughed after hearing his words, “I can. But you won’t mind if I strictly use my sword and pistol, will you?”
The lead knight laughed as he and the other knights began to ascend the stairs, “Be my guest. It’s your funeral.”
