In a secure room deep within the heart of the TerrorWasp Sect a woman with long wavy ruby red hair is currently giving birth. She is surrounded by several figures. All of which were wearing a similar garb symbolizing their position as a high ranking member of the Sect. The person closest to the woman is a large burly man at the height of 6’9 and having the torso of a tree trunk.
He has bright red hair like the woman but has streaks of blue as well, his green eyes are watery due to the fact his wife is in pain of labour but happy that he will soon have a child. His callused hands are tightly wrapped around his wife’s hands as she clenches tightly for his support.
The man is Sanguinem, the patriarch and founder of the TerrorWasp Sect. A murderous and bloodthirsty marauder who killed and pillaged all throughout the Jin Continent. Known as the scourge of the Continent and the surrounding ones. He created the Sect after obtaining the Sky Cultivation Rank, the last Rank in the Martial Ream, right before the Immortal Realm.
The small group that survived to see the creation of the Sect are now known far and wide across the continent as the Sect’s Great Elders. All of which are men and women feared for their power, and are present to witness the coming of the Sect’s future heir.
The Great Elders are talking amongst themselves while this is all happening, not really paying attention at all.
“What sex do you think the child will be Maleficus? I’m placing my bets on a son, it would be a pleasant sight for my sore eyes to see a young lad running through the halls having a blast.” A happy reply came from Carnifex, a hulking giant of a man, towering at 7’4ft tall with bulging muscles, clad in blood-red robes and faceless executioner's mask. A simple snort comes from Maleficus whose emotion is betrayed by a sly smirk..
“Aren’t you blind you old dolt, how would you see him if your eyes are stitched up beneath that old rag on your head?” Maleficus has short black hair in a spiky fashion, cold empty eyes that are just blank white with no iris or pupil, pale sickly white skin and 5’6ft anorexic body beneath his robes giving the impression of one more closely embraced by death than life.
Maleficus crosses his arms, making a frown and looks upwards pondering. “I would like to bet on it being a daughter personally, I think it would be good for my own daughter to have someone around her age to hang around with and not just a bunch of old men and concubines.”
Carnifex makes a clicking noise with his tongue and looms over Maleficus to to look intimidating, completely overshadowing him. “I can use my Divine sense far more efficiently than my real eyes. And if you want another kid to hang out with your daughter why can't a boy hang out with her or perhaps get another child of your own?”
Maleficus scratches his cheek as sweat formed on his brow and looks away from Carnifex. “Well..for having another kid it will be a problem.. Rose found me.. Having fun with one of the maids while she was still pregnant with Crystal.. She’s still pretty upset even four years after Crystal was born..”
“Why wouldn’t I be bloody upset with you, you moron!? You promised you would stay faithful and what did you do? You slept with that Bunny whore a month before Crystal was supposed to be born!” Rose yells at Maleficus from across the room with her malicious aura coming out, directed at her husband. Rose has long red hair with blue streaks through her hair that reaches to her back. She is 6’1ft tall with a perfect hourglass figure, high cheekbones, sharp nose and almost constant sneer. Her eyes were same as the Patriarch’s, a beautiful green serving to accentuate their relationship as brother and sister, as well as providing the position of a Great Elder
“It’s not my fault I swear! She locked me in the room and put herself on me, what was I supposed to do!” Maleficus raises his hands up to protest, visibly distressed at Rose’s outburst.
“Do you even register the bullshit you're spewing from your mouth!? A Great Elder not able to fend off a simple maid that is five ranks below, and while being the leader of the guards of the Sanctum is quite far fetched, don’t you think?” Rose grinded her teeth, clenched her fists and tried to simmer down her hatred before she did something she regrets.
Before Maleficus could reply back in his defence Sanguinem barks an order at the two of them. Impatience and frustration evidently heard in his tone.
“Stop it, both of you! You can have this argument at a later date, Rose turn off your Aura NOW! I do not want Inferna or my child harmed because you could not control your anger!” Sanguinem looks back at the two giving them death glares that would put a Death Sight Basilisk to shame.
Inferna, Sanguinem’s wife cries out in pain, which Sanguinem looks back to his wife in worry. He tries to give her some comfort by letting her squeeze his hand tighter while he keeps saying ‘It’s almost over’ to her.
One of the Elders is encouraging Inferna to continue pushing and to breath as the child is almost born. The other Elders are now paying rapt attention to the birth like they should have been doing since the start.
As soon as the head starts to appear from the birth canal, everyone is holding their breath. Except Inferna since she needs to keep breathing when doing this.
The baby boy named Xaviour was wrapped snugly in a fluffy blanket, snug tight and content. With quizzical eyes he looked around the room as everyone watched him with various expressions of shock, joy and awe of the little thing.
The reason was not just the birth of the child, but the unique and powerful characteristics he inherited. His hair was made up of striking red, blue and purple colours. All signifying the boundless potential the child possess, a potential to rise far above his peers or give birth to unprecedented geniuses. A greater number of colours not only empowers, but increases the chance of his latent power awakening.
Sanguinem is just grinning like an idiot about the blessing that was granted to him. Not only did his child have an amazing chance of being a genius, but his grandchildren as well..
His wife is completely fine, having finished the ordeal of evacuating of an 8lb human being from her body.
The only thing left to do before everyone can return to their business is check how many Meridian Points his son was born with.
Sanguinem sends a look over to Infernia if he has her consent to start, to which she smiles back and nods weakly. With her consent, he injects his Qi into their child with the utmost care, just enough to see how many points the child has.
His face stays stoic as he counts. Eight, then eight more, twenty Meridian Points! But as his search reveals more and more, a beam starts breaking out on his face. It continues to get wider and wider until it gets to 32 points which is the maximum people should have - the child has immense talent in Qi.
“32 Meridian Points and having three hair colours, he will be a peerless genius! The Gods and Goddesses smile upon us today!” Sanguinem exclaims in utter euphoria, one that was contagious as everyone else in the room starts celebrating.
Sanguinem’s excitement slowly turns into confusion however when the notices something wrong within his child…
He doesn’t have 32 Meridian Points, he has 33, no 36, 46 now. The number keeps rising as Sanguinem continues to sense with his qi in his son’s body. His face turning into an emotionless mask but in his heart he is flipping the fuck out, somersaulting and cartwheeling all over in his chest.
The number finally stops at 64 Meridian Points, double what a peerless Genius’s talent in qi would be. First time throughout all of history, for someone to have above 32 points, and to have it at double the normal maximum as well!
If he can protect his son during the vulnerable cultivation process, with this talent and the hopeful bonus of the hair, Xaviour will be nothing but a Demon in Sheep’s Clothing.
The Elders start noticing that the Patriarch became very quiet all of a sudden and that his face is like a blank statue, showing no emotion. Infernia looks worried at her husband and puts one of her hands on his face to hopefully get an reaction.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
Sanguinem breaks out of his stupor quietly saying, “He doesn’t have 32, he has 64.. This.. This is impossible, this has nevered happened before, not even Demonic Beasts have more than 32 Meridian Points..”
“What did you say Honey, I think I misheard you. Did you just say Xaviour has 64 Meridian Points. It’s not good for you to lie to your wife.” Infernia says bluntly thinking her husband is joking with her but is uneasy due to the atmosphere he is excluding.
The Elders hear what Infernia says about the 64 Meridian Point and they stiffen up, thinking it also has to be a joke, how could someone have 64 Meridian Points, it’s just inconceivable. It’s like if gravity just disappeared one day and never came back for no reason at all.
“I’m not joking, the really does have 64 Meridians! Carnifex come over here and double check for me, I want to know if I’m right or I’m just going senile.” Sanguinem says and waves Carnifex over quickly with pleading eyes.
Carnifex appears beside Sanguinem, and starts putting his own Qi in when Sanguinem takes his out and watches Carnifex for any motion that would show surprise.
“Hmm… I only notice the 32 Meridians which you s- . . . Wait what?” Carnifex body stiffens and cocks his head to the side. “I-.. I don’t think he’s lying, I see them to now..”
“This has to be a big joke right, that can’t be possible!”
“Even if it was real what happens if anyone out of the Sect finds out about this, they will try to kill him for sure!”
“But what if he gets strong enough to protect himself? He will probably break into the Immortal Realm!”
The Great Elders start arguing amongst themselves about if it’s true or false even though the Patriarch and one of them has also confirmed it’s true. How will they deal if someone finds out about the 64 Meridian’s in Xaviour and how they could prevent it from leaking.
“SILENCE!” Sanguinem roars out angrily to shut up the arguments on top of arguments which would soon come to blows.
Due to Sanguinem’s outburst Xaviour started crying again with newfound vigor, quickly giving Sanguinem an infuriated soul piercing glare from his wife.
He looks back to her and gives an apologetic look meekly before he looks sternly back at the rigid Elders who are sweating profusely like they're hoping a self-created flood will save them from their angered Patriarch.
“Now that I have all of your dearly needed attention.. I would like to make sure some things are said before you all start doing something stupid." Sanguinem says with a deadpan tone and facial expression.
“First off.. My son only has '32 Meridian Points' understand? Everyone outside of this room will all assume he is just that, no one else needs to know the truth, got it? If I find out one of you numbskulls tell anyone, I swear to the Goddess Venenosa I will literally rip you in half. After I throw you into a Terrorwasp Hive first that is…
The second thing I wish to tell you is that Carnifex will be Xaviour’s Personal bodyguard.”
“Yeah! Wait, what?”
“If anyone has a problem with either of these subjects please speak up now so I can thoroughly correct you. No one? Okay then, I hope you have a good day and remember todays Poker Night at 8 PM in the Lounge. Don’t forget to bring your own snacks and Beast Cores to bet with.” Sanguinem finishes up his speech to the Elders which they promptly leave.
The only ones left in the room is Sanguinem, Infernia, Carnifex, Rose, Xaviour and Maleficus.
Maleficus makes a malevolent grin at Carnifex and nudges him with his elbow. “Looks like you got what you wanted Buddy, I hope you enjoy your death sentence new job!” Maleficus Chuckles darkly which Carnifex just Hammer fists him on the head making a cracking noise.
Maleficus puts his hands on the spot where he was hit, making pitiful whimpering noises to Carnifex’s pleasure.
Infernia has Xaviour cradled in her arms looking down at his sleeping form. To say it’s been a stressful day for Xaviour would be an understatement. Getting kicked out of your warm liquid home to a cold world where there's lots of scary people and yelling, you would be tuckered out to if you got comfortable.
“Rose, are you going to get Crystal to see her new baby cousin? If I remember she seemed pretty excited about it when she first found out.” Infernia says softly to Rose, trying not to wake Xaviour.
“Yeah, it would be good for your little genius to meet our little monster.” Sanguinem says with a cheeky remark to Rose who has been getting a bit arrogant after she found out her daughter could cultivate at the age of 3 and has 27 Meridian Points.
Rose rolls her eyes at her older brother with a condescending smirk, thinking his attempt at getting a rise out of her failed. “Just because he’s a monster doesn’t mean he will be better than a genius, since we have killed plenty of ’Monsters’ haven't we sweet brother?”
Sanguinem raises an eyebrow to Rose’s response which she just snickers and walks away saying, “I’ll be right back with Crystal, I bet she isn’t far from here. She was pretty excited when she found out you gotten into labour Infernia. So you're probably not wrong with Crystal wanting to meet Xaviour.”
“I’m never wrong, isn’t that right Sweetie?” Infernia looks over to Sanguinem with a small smile thinking this is an easy question for her husband.
Sanguinem on the other hand as a dilemma since she was wrong just a few minutes ago about Xaviour not having 64 Points. So does he lie to her to appease her or tell the truth and maybe get an angry pouty glare.
“Carnifex, what do you think about being Xaviour Personal Bodyguard now? If I remember you said you were hoping for a boy.” He chose the third option, evade the question entirely, and talk to Carnifex.
Infernia squints her eyes and has a frown on her face, distorting it slightly. She is clearly not amused by her husband’s reaction, so she asks her little bundle of joy the question. Who just responds with some noises while sleeping, but to Infernia that was a good enough answer.
“I would've appreciated a heads up about being a Personal Bodyguard of your child and not just spring it on me like that, it was quite a shock especially after finding out that he has 64 Points.. Why did you pick me anyways? There’s probably someone else better here than me to guard the little monster.” Carnifex asks with uncertainty evident in his voice while he scratches his chin.
“Sorry about that, it’s just that you were the first to come to mind about being an ideal bodyguard is all. You are big and intimidating, usually just stand there looking over things and with you relying on your divine sense constantly you are perfect at noticing incoming assassins which sadly might come for my son..” Sanguinem says with quiet anger, looking around the room out of paranoia.
Carnifex signs and puts his hand on Sanguinem’s shoulder to comfort his old friend. “Don’t worry, no one will try to assassinate your son while I’m here. Nor would they be stupid enough to send people here in the first place, Ha! Remember the last time someone sent an assassin?” Carnifex says mischievously with a slight chuckle.
Sanguinem smirks remembering what happened. “The poor bastard didn’t know what hit him, when his cloaking technique didn’t work against the thirty King Ranked Zombie guards that Maleficus raised. Oh the sucker punch he got was priceless, thank the gods we could watch it through the zombies eyes after Maleficus but their memories in a scrying orb!” He guffawed remembering how the assassin's body went flying into a wall, like a fly getting hit by a fly swatter while it was flying.
“See, you don’t have to worry, the undead will spot all would be assassins who enter the heart of the sect. But when they do enter, we will get quite a funny show” Carnifex chuckles, cracking his knuckles.
“Amen to that Carnifex.” Sanguinem looks over to Maleficus who is still whimpering while holding the part on his head. “Oi, stop acting like a pussy about a superficial wound like that, I bet you won’t even get a bruise! I’ve seen you with worst, like the time where Rose stabbed you in the shoulder because you gave her Roses instead of Tulips.” Sanguinem berets Maleficus with a frown and shaking his head.
“It really hurts though! He hit a sensitive spot!”
“And Rose stabbing you in the shoulder isn’t?!”
Maleficus continues to pout, taking out a potion from his Void Ring and starts drinking it. Within a few moments he gets up and sighs, feeling way better.
Carnifex and Sanguinem grimace that Maleficus just used a Expensive Potion to relieve the pain. Maleficus just sticks his tongue out and pulls down one of his eyelids with a finger.
Rose enters the room with a little girl with dark as night hair with red highlighto. She is all smiles, running past the three guys and towards Infernia to see the baby.
The little girl is four year old Crystal, the genius of the clan. At the age of three, being able to cultivate and read, she is highly dotted on by her mother and father. She is unnaturally intelligent for her age and behind her violet eyes shows she knows more than she should.
Crystal beams at Infernia and stands on her tippy toes to see on top of the bed better. “Aunty Infernia, is that my baby cousin?” She looks over to the bundled up Xaviour curiously.
Sanguinem glances over at Rose and says, “What took you so long, she couldn’t be that hard to find.”
“You forget that she loves to hang out with Sicarius who has been teaching her how to hide herself from divine sense and other sensing techniques. When I finally found them, they were on the ceiling looking down at me. The only reason I found them was because Crystal sneezed right before I left the room.” Roses says with a sigh, clearly tired and annoyed by the whole thing.
Infernia smiles to Crystal and shows Xaviour to Crystal. “Yes, this is Xaviour your new baby cousin. I hope you will take good care of him when he grows up” She chuckles while Crystal turns bright red and looks away.
Maleficus looks at his watch then at Carnifex and Sanguinem. “It’s almost Eight, I think we should head out to the lounge to not be late. I don’t want my seat taken by Lusor again, he knows I only feel comfortable in that spot..” Maleficus grumbles beneath his breath.
The two others nod and Sanguinem says to his wife. “I’ll be back before bed, if you need me just get a maid, sweetie. I just want you to rest and relax, Okay?”
Infernia nods and responds bringing Xaviour back to her chest. “I understand, make sure not to enjoy yourself without me to much, Honey, or else I will ban you from leaving me until you pay me back.” She sticks her tongue out which Sanguinem grins and leaves with the two guys. Leaving Crystal and rose to stay with his wife and newborn son.
