My body ached as I laid on the cold floor. Even my breathing caused twinge of pain in my chest. The fucking yipping wasn't helping the headache either.
What happened? Did someone hit me in the back of the head?
I slowly lifted myself of the floor bone's cracking as I got up and that was when I realized everything was wrong.
The bright cafeteria of my school was gone replaced with dim lit caverns filled with a hoard of Kobold's staring at me.
I knew what they were at the sight of them with their scales glinting in the torch light. I played more than enough Pathfinder campaigns to know these bastards. But before I could react in any way one of the Kobold's ran up to where I was laying dressed in a black rob with purple symbols embroidered along the bottom.
He raised his hands and shouted at the hoard. "The prophesy held true! The Wyrm Between has been summoned to lead us to conquest and our rightful place!"
It was then I noticed myself, my new self.
Blackish grey scales covered my arms and "hands" and continued along the rest of my followed suit. Panic and excitement warred in me, my body was changed and taken from me I was taken from my home.
But on the other hand, I was a dragon.
My attention was drawn back to the kobold near my feet who it seemed was finishing his speech "Praise the new God!" With that the whole cavern erupted with cheers and the sounds of stomping feet and banging shields.
Oh, they mean me, don’t they?
This wasn't a dream I could tell that, and I like to think I've seen and played more than anime and table top games to know what to do. Play along till I got more info and come up with a real plan.
"what is your name servant?" My new voice was deep and radiated power but still sounded feminine... i think.
"I am Kut Tak king of the Bone Breakers tribe, your tribe your magnificence" behind him the cheering was turning in to a real party with even more Kobold's rushing in carrying gold, jewels and food.

"Tell me of this world you summoned me too Kut Tak."
And as the- my servant's where piling a small hill of treasures next to me Kut regaled me with his knowledge of the world.
He gave me jack shit.
Ok that’s not fair he gave what he knew and it was actually a lot of useful information it just wasn't as much as I wanted or hoped.
Everything he said pointed at this being a generic fantasy world the kind found in Pathfinder or D&D. But he couldn't really give me much on the magical side of things or the nation's or civilizations of the world. The geography of this region prevented most outside contact and the closest thing to civilization was rural villages and townships.
The area was surrounded by a large mountain chain to the east and north which was filled with beasts and marauding orc tribes of all kinds that made travel hard at the best of times. The south wasn't any better. Apparently, the forest that covered the opening between the mountains was being torn apart in a war between a hag coven and a lich. The west was a total unknown to the Kobold's.
"Well that’s just great." I sighed, I wasn’t sure if I was being sarcastic or not. There were a lot of shitty thing's in this region but it wasn't all bad, the Orc's kept there raiding to the other side of the mountain's where there were a "great many kingdoms" of course he didn’t have any info on them that would be convenient.
"Indeed, great one. The mountains are an excellent buffer against the eastern realms and while adventure parties are attracted to the orcs for the plunder they take few if any truly cross the mountains none of which could be a threat to you great one."
Adventurers of course there would be adventures can't have a good fantasy world without them. It was all making sense now.
Prophetic dreams of conquest, ritualistic summoning's, a myth of a "wyrm between."
I'm the bad guy.
the only questions are, am I a mid-boss or the Big Bad Evil Guy.
And who are the Hero's?
