My senses are overstimulated as my father removes my goggles and helmet after arriving from mid-air to the Sevii Island — to be more precise Six Island — based on my mum. My dad, Santiago Meadowcraft, a burly man with brown hair accompanied by a boisterous laugh a common trait for a Paldean native in my grandma’s town, his word not mine let his Dragonite rest on the ground as she flew us from Galar to Sevii Island.
“Come on squirt! You need to toughen up we only spend 7 hours flying!” My dad teases me as he pinches my cheeks. “Ahhh mnow ahh mnow dawd.” I said while removing his hand from my cheeks.
“You and mum drilled me and Dipplin how we need to toughen up since we gonna do the circuit from overseas” I replied massaging my cheeks.
Speaking of Dipplin looks like he already came out from his Pokeball and began to encircle Dragonite akin to pestering her.
While Dipplin pestered Dragonite. My dad and I began to check my belongings.
“Rotom Phone?”
“Here!”
“Thermos?”
“Here!”
“Pocket Money?”
“Here!”
“Camping Supplies?”
“Uhmmmm…gimme a sec…yeah…yes… Here!”
“Extra clothes?”
“Here!”
“And that should be it squirt! Both of you are rearing to go!”
While I returned my belongings to my backpack my dad began to call Dipplin to our spot. “Rihd and Drip! Listen both of you! I know you already traveled before and have experience. BUT! Always remember that you are now currently overseas! Do both of you get that right?"
Dapplin and I looked my father straight in the eye full of conviction as we nodded.
“Good…Come here…give me a hug you squirts”
As my dad pets Dapplin and hugs me, my heart cannot help to be giddy, we are here…the Sevii Island in the Kinjoh Area. I’m finally starting a solo journey without my friends from Galar. We bid farewell to my dad and Dragonite as they take off. Their figures disappear in the blue sky of Six Island as they leave.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
As I turn back, the shout of a kid suddenly echoes in my ears.
“HOLY CRAP IS THAT A DRAGONITE FLYING!!?!”
Dipplin and I instantly locked our eyes with him, face full of confusion. I mean I know Galovea and Kinjoh don’t have any communication with each other but is that really rare to see a Dragonite?
I shook my head to clear my thoughts before I decided to approach him, Dipplin at my side. I guess technically we are on an island so as a local they have never seen some rare Pokemon.
However, before Dipplin and I approached him. The kid suddenly bowed himself so low that his head smacked the ground.
“I’M SO SORRY FOR EAVESDROPPING!”

Oh crap. I’m really screwed. I mean mommy always tells me to be kind to strangers ‘cause every stranger is a customer of our inn.
I feel so embarrassed that I started to sweat from shame. The guy with red hair and blue eyes and his strange gooey apple began to usher me to lift my head.
“Uhmmmm please lift your head… oh geez... Don’t worry we're also at fault here since we land through flying and not a ferry.” The red-haired guy said with a panicked expression. “Dip dip ip dip ip dip!!” The gooey apple Pokemon replied too as its head stretched in its current position.
“Really?” I replied while wiping my sweat with the hem of my t-shirt. The red guy and his gooey apple began to nod in a sync manner and the guy began to introduce himself and his Pokemon.
I found out his name is Ruairidh Clark-Meadowcroft, but he said I can call him Ridh — thank Mew ‘cause I don’t know how to pronounce that and the gooey apple is his partner Dipplin.
I breathed a sigh of relief — looks like I didn't scare a customer — Ridh told me they were tourists outside the Kinjoh planning to spend some weeks here in Sevii Island while waiting for the opening of the Johto League.
Looks like mommy is right — a stranger is a potential customer for our inn — and with that, I confidently boast my parent's inn and offer to guide them to visit it. I mean my parent’s inn is the best in Six Island!

While Eto Takumi — the kid who almost buried his head in the ground — guided us. I cannot help to admire the scenery of the path we trekking. The vibrant trees and bushes compliment the faraway shores. I instantly pat my rotom phone inside my pocket — a signal for him to go into photographer mode.
Eto's face visibly shows shock and amazement at the floating phone. Before he could ask about my rotom phone I started to explain everything.
“This little guy is a rotom phone…It’s an electric and ghost Pokemon inside a cellphone… I think… their equivalent is a Pokedex here but inside a phone. He is non-combatant so he doesn't count in my party limit” As we trek the path, I then explain the Dragonite he saw by saying it's my dad’s Pokemon and also started to introduce Dipplin. I cannot help to smile as Eto's eyes shine like a star from amazement.
“Wow… so many dragons! I mean it's rare to see a dragon here since the Blackthorn Clan from Johto has the…uhmmmm control… base from my parents… trainers sponsored by them either want a dragon or found a dragon and didn’t know how to train them…” Eto replied while scratching his head trying to remember some information based on his parents.
To lift his mood, I instructed my rotom phone to show him some pictures of my father’s Dragonite in my gallery and it was a success as we arrived at the inn with happy faces.
