Local spotting of smiling man in Walmart during closing time –

Local boy working at the Walmart at ◾◾◾ Blight St ◾◾. The local boy has given us permission to tell his story.

As he was unloading the last truck of the day, and closing up the store, he saw a blur in the corner of his eye. Not wanting to stop his work he shrugged it off, and continued unloading. When he was almost done he heard footsteps echo behind him, originating at the truck – sounding as he described as like shadow given form, and phantasmic?

He turned around to see a shadow figure carrying a box from the truck towards him. The only descriptive features were the bright blue vest with the Walmart, and “The smile, bright white teeth. Cartoonish in nature, and the eyes were too. Black pinpricks on the smooth face. The shade of them was different enough to even be able to see them,” The boy described.

 After his description he voiced the feelings he felt, “Unnerved you know? I felt my muscles tense. The seconds it took my brain to register the …” The boy paused, “thing, froze me. A chill still runs down my spine if I think of it.”

The boy paused as he collected himself before continuing his story. The figure continued to walk towards him, carrying the box, as he stood there frozen. As if – by boy’s words – his working spirit took over his short circuited brain, he walked forward. A smile and calm expression on his face. He gave a nod in acknowledgement and thanks, as he walked by the figure – the figure nodding back, and walking past him – and began unloading the box’s; the boy and figure continued to do this till the truck was empty.

Then the shadow walked away. The boy seemed to be shaking, but noted that the figure was a great help. He has said he hasn't seen it again, except for doing tasks around the store.
