Chapter 2: True Beauty.

Time & Place: Evening, Park.

Suzu ran away as the red jacket girl still looked at the ground.

*The Four-eyed girl spoke. Smirking shaking her head left and right while shrugging.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "What a baby... Who does that? Cry and run away? Pfft... Only a coward does it."

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Did he really just get hurt by a few words? Really?"

*She kept talking shit about him... Even after he already run off she was still talking shit.*

*The Red Jacket Girl clinched her fist looking at the Four-eyed freak.*

[A. Girl]: "Am I really hearing what I am hearing? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?"

*She's really furious with her that she could try to knock her fist on her face and some sense into her.*

[A. Girl]: "Don't you have any shame?? No one is backing you on this one you already WENT TOO FAR!"

*She looked at the others eyeing them no one seemed to look at her just holding their arms and looking away.*

*Not wanting to seem awful, Even though she already is. Wanting to be victorious in the end she just doubles down on her actions.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Did you forget that you also made him cry like a baby and run away because of your little screaming?"

*The Red Jacket Girl got so angry that her face turned into a color that of a tomato.*

[A. Girl]: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME??"

*Pointing at her in fury.*

[A. Girl]: "I WAS TRYING TO PROTECT HIM FROM THE HORRIBLE MONSTER THAT YOU ARE!"

*A boy saw that the situation escalated too much already... wanting to stop him he moved closer to them his hands in front of him trying to relax them a bit as he shook them up and down slowly.*

[Boy]: "Hey hey guys why don't you chill out a litt..-"

*The Two of them didn't even look at him Clenching their jaws at each other.*

*The red jacket girl looked up at the four-eyed girl as the four-eyed girl looked down at her.*

*A girl grabbed the boy's shoulder shaking her head left and right not wanting him to get in trouble for trying to calm them down. Because it wouldn't work she knows it.*

*He gulped, nervous that he'd get beaten to a pulp by them. Though still, He ignored her advice. She sighed and let go of him.*

*Getting closer and closer heading towards them... He's almost like sneaking, His hands held high as a cover for him.*

[Boy]: "G..- Girls girls... Why Don't you chill ou..-"

*Suddenly the 2 girls look at him at the same time yelling at him.*

-"SHUT THE HELL UP!"

[Boy]: "EEEEEEEP!!"

*The Boy lunged backward landing on his butt.*

*The girl that warned him closed her eyes smirking barely able to hold herself from laughing.*

*The 2 girls continued glaring at each other. The air around them gets more and more heavy as the situation gets more intense.*

*But then before it fully escalates the red jacket girl stops herself from invoking the four-eyed girl more.*

[A. Girl]: "Sigh... What did I expect from a dumbass like you who had closed her ears a long time ago wanting to win by any means necessary even if it includes losing friends."

*The four-eyed girl gets really pissed off by her accusations.*

-"Seriously? Me of all people? I want to win even if I lose friends? No... No, she's lying she's just a dumbass. I am right. She's wrong."

*Unable to see that what she did was wrong she backed herself up.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "You call me a dumbass? Have you seen yourself? And Besides... How dare you call others dumbasses? What do you think of yourself you short red goblin?"

*The red jacket girl looked at her confused, really baffled... Is she for real?"

-"That's what she's focused on? Me calling her a dumbass? She really doesn't see what she did as something wrong... And huh?? Did she just say how dare I call people... DUMBASSES??

[A. Girl]: "Eeh...? What? Are..- Hold on THAT'S what you're focused about? Me calling you a dumbass? Wait are you for real? are..- Are you a real human being? Do you not have consciousness?"

*Tilting her head more grabbing her face in shock in confusion... Is she a lost cause?*

*Everyone looked at looked at the four-eyed girl... Seeing how hypocritical she really was. But not as interested in her as the red jacket girl who seemed to be losing her mind slowly just by talking to the four-eyed girl.*

*The red jacket girl looked at her narrowing her eyes dropping her hands low leaning her head forward.*

*The red jacket girl leaned more forward, looking up at the four-eyed girl, Her eyebrows narrowed, her mouth clenched.*

*The four-eyed girl leaned forward, looking down at the red jacket girl, smirking.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "I am saying...-"

*Poking her forehead as the red jacket girl's eyes flutter shut at the sudden poking at her forehead.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "You've. Gone. Cuckoo..-"

*Suddenly before she could finish her breath, The red jacket girl munched her finger. Biting on it.*

*It was so sudden The four-eyed girl yelped and yelled in pain her eyes almost popping out.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWCH!!"

*She swayed her hand trying to get the red jacket girl to stop biting on her finger.*

*Spinning around moving it everywhere she just couldn't.*

*The red jacket girl smirked biting more.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!!! HOLY CRAP LET GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

*The red jacket girl didn't let go. Words escaped her mouth between her teeth.*

[A. Girl]: "Thay...- Pffht Your... THORRY!!"

*The four-eyed girl was pained spinning around she's gotten motion sickness but still she wanted her to stop biting her finger.*

-"STOOOOOOOOOOOP!! YOU'LL EAT MY FINGER YOU'LL CUT IT STOP IT STOP IT!!"

*The red jacket girl let go of her finger. She spun a little out of dizziness but then shook her as she held it standing upright.*

*The four-eyed girl started wobbling left and right from dizziness but then she leaned on a lamppost for support.*

*They looked at each other.*

*The red jacket girl extended her tongue looking at it.*

[A. Girl]: "EW EW EW!!"

*The four-eyed girl did the same huffing and puffing on her finger wiping it with on her clothes."

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Disgusting Disgusting DISGUSTING!!"

*They looked at each other clenching their jaws, tightening their eyes and eyebrows. Almost growling at each other like wild dogs.*

[A. & Four-eyed]: "Grrrr..."

*The four-eyed girl broke it off by looking away.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Hmph."

*The red jacket girl looked at her smirking.*

[A. Girl]: "Four-eyed Freak."

*Four-eyed girl looked offended.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Hey now that was uncalled for! You red goblin!"

*Red jacket girl stuck her tongue out pulling down her eyelid mocking the four-eyed freak!*

*She said. Then after that, she wiped the dust off of her.*

*The four-eyed was offended but held her tongue only puffing her face cheeks.*

*The red jacket girl looked really amazed by the four-eyed girl's handle of her insults.*

[A. Girl]: "Wow really? That's a first... Didn't expect you to not attack me back."

*She huffed then removed her glasses pulling out her glasses wiper cloth and wiping it with it.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "I am too tired already. I don't want more useless rattling."

*The red jacket girl nodded in agreement. Pointing at her with her gun-shaped hand.*

-"Bang."

*The red girl says as she winks her eye.*

[A. Girl]: "This is for hurting Suzu's feelings."

*Huffing on her fingers she turns around to the way that Suzu escaped to. Looking behind for one last time*

[A. Girl]: "I'll get him to come back. And once he does you all owe him an apology. ESPECIALLY YOU TWO!"

*Ponting at the four-eyed girl and the boy that backed her up before.*

*The boy nodded looking down and holding his own hands. As for the four-eyed girl, she just sighs.*

[Four-eyed Girl]: "Fine... Whatever. Get that crybaby to come already."

*She looked in front smiling without them knowing and started running quickly so she could meet up with Suzu.*

*One of the girls sighed. Finally the intense situation is over.*

*One of the Boys behind her shrugged his hands after a heavy sigh escaped his mouth.*

[Boy]: "Girls and their problems... Am I right?"

*As he smirks closing his eyes.*

*A Girl was next to him to the left. Slowly turned her disappointed face towards him as her eyebrows narrowed in annoyance her mouth slightly open.*

[Girl]: "Bruh."

While seeing the shirt girl run searching for Suzu, a sound is heard far away in the group behind her.

BONG!

*Suzu... was sitting alone on a bench in the park but far away from where they were hanging in. Snuffling looking down at his hands clenching them afterwards.*

-"Hellllooooooo!?"

-"Suzuuuuuuu?"

*Suddenly once he hears the sounds of his friend the red jacket girl, He quickly wipes his face incase there was any left-over tears on his face and also incase his nose is running.*

[Suzu]: "Ye..- Yeah...?"

*The Girl stopped next to the boy panting as she leaned forward, grabbing her knees, catching her breath.*

*She looked at the boy. One eye closed and the other open looking at him smiling.*

*She waved her hand and then stood still looking at him.*

[A. Girl]: "Y..- Yo.."

*She kept panting unable to greet him correctly.*

*Suzu looks at her scratching his head and tilting it in a bit of confusion...*

[Suzu]: "Yo..- Did you jus..-"

[A. Girl]: "Yup... Sigh... I ran aaaaaaallllllllll the way here. What did ya expect? that I am gonna walk all the way here? From there? that'd take way too long, ain't happening."

*Standing upright, Putting her hands to the sides of her waist, Stretching.*

[A. Girl]: "Mmmm...! Yeah, that's better. Anyhow, I came to check on you."

*Suzu just kept looking at her and tilting his head until she said that.*

*He looked away scratching his face cheek, Embarrassed.*

[Suzu]: "Y..- Yeah... I am fine."

*She looked at him confused but then, She smirked.*

[A. Girl]: "Oh? did that really get you all flustered?"

*Suzu clinched his teeth in embarrassment.*

[Suzu]: "Well.. It's jus..-*

*He sighs looking down as he puts his hands between his knees.*

[Suzu]: "You didn't have to waste your time and check up on a crybaby loser like me..."

*The red jacket girl was taken aback by his words her eyes and eyebrows narrowing her mouth open as it tightens. She looked at him annoyed by his words.*

[A. Girl]: "A crybaby loser? Shut up will ya??"

*He looked surprised by her words tilting his head at her sudden shushing towards him.*

*She looked at him with a firm stern look.*

[A. Girl]: "I came to check on you since you were badly hurt by that for-eyed dumb freak."

*Suzu looked to the front not facing her he suddenly started shivering from coldness.*

*Looking at her Suzu's heart pounded a little faster.*

[Suzu]: "Will you didn't have to! You could've stayed with them and had fun with them!"

*This time she looked visibly annoyed by his words.*

[A. Girl]: "No I don't wanna hang out with them!"

-"They hurt you and you're my friend how could I just let you be hurt alone without any help?"

*A blush crept onto his face.*

[Suzu]: "F..- Friend?"

*She looked at him confused tilting her head.*

[A. Girl]: "Yes..? We've been hanging since kindergarten!"

*She had a weird look of disappointment on her face.*

[A. Girl]: "Did you... Seriously not think that we're friends?"

*Suzu shook his head left and right as fast as he could, moving his arms left and right. showing that she misunderstood him.*

[Suzu]: "No no I did! I swear I did! but..-"

*She narrowed her eyes grabbing her chin with her hand.*

[A. Girl]: "But... What?"

*He looked away scratching his nose from embarrassment his face getting a little red.*

[Suzu]: "I didn't expect you to say that out loud..."

*Her eyes widened as she thought to herself.*

-"That's what got him flustered?"

*She covered her mouth unable to hide her laughter.*

[A. Girl]: "Pfft... Hahahah! Really? One word? Got you all flustered like that?"

*Suzu stopped scratching his nose and just looked more embarrassed.*

[Suzu]: "Shut up..."

*She finally sat beside him but kept a tad bit of distance.*

[A. Girl]: "Oh come on I am only teasing ya!"

*Suzu didn't reply... he looked down on his feet swaying front and back.*

*She on the other hand looked at the sky admiring it.*

*She started to hum a soothing comforting lullaby.*

*Suzu heard her humming feeling a bit comforted by it.*

*She kept humming for a while swaying left and right slightly.*

*Then Suzu shivered a little bit grabbing his arms with his hands.*

*She looked at him, Wanting to smile at him after she stopped humming.*

*She saw him shivering and quickly without hesitation, took off her red jacket.*

*She smiled extending her hand, her jacket on it, wanting to give it to him.*

[A. Girl]: "You're cold... Here take it. It might warm ya up."

*He was confused... Why would she do that for him?*

[Suzu]: "I can't... I can't accept it from you."

*She looked at him tilting her head. He was clearly cold... Why wouldn't he accept it?*

[A. Girl]: "Huh?? why? Come on dude I Insist just take it will ya?"

[Suzu]: "No you'll be left cold!"

*Pushing it on him. But he just pushed it back.*

[A. Girl]: "Arghh Come on!! Just take it!!"

[Suzu]: "No no NO! I can't! I cannot accept it!"

*She just stopped pushing and put the jacket down, Looking angry she clunches her fist.*

[A. Girl]: "Look at me, you dumbass... I am wearing a sweater... So if you won't accept it this time I will make you wear it!"

*He looked a little petrified from her threat.*

*Gulping he finally took a closer look.*

*Seeing her wearing a pinkish sweater under her red jacket...*

[A. Girl]: "See you, dummy? There's nothing to be worried about. I won't feel cold."

[Suzu]: Wow... You really came extra prepared huh."

*Handing him the red jacket.*

*She smiled and looked up at the sky as her feet swung back and forth.*

[A. Girl]: "Yup my mom said she'd make me go to school even if I was sick. And made me wear it."

*He wore her jacket and closed the zipper. Already feeling warmer than before he feels much better.*

[Suzu]: "Damn... Your mom is really that strict?"

[A. Girl]: "Yeah, But she doesn't do it for no reason... She cares about me. "

*Looking at him the girl tilted her head moving it to the left a little.*

*Eyeing him up and down she says.*

[A. Girl]: "Huh... It really suits you, You know?"

*Suzu Blushed and looked away scratching his head.*

*She looked at him a little red on her face.*

[A. Girl]: "Hey Suzu..."

*Suzu looked at her with his eyes.*

[Suzu]: "Hmm..?"

[A. Girl]: "Everything that they've said about you... It's not true. But rethink your plan."

-"Your mom might not like it."

*He looked down at his legs, putting his hands on his knees.*

[Suzu]: "Yeah... I thought about it, And she might not like it at all."

*She smiled at him, Punching his shoulder playfully.*

[A. Girl]: "That's the spirit!"

*Suzu grabbed his shoulder, rubbing it.*

[Suzu]: "Hey ouch! That was uncalled for..."

*Chuckling she covers her mouth.*

[A. Girl]: "Oh come on just suck it up!"

*Suzu kept rubbing his shoulder. He sighed looking up at the sky and leaning backwards.*

*She looked up at the sky as well, leaning forward.*

[A. Girl]: "Suzu...-"

-"-... I think it's time for us to go back"

*Suzu looked away feeling a bit sad not really wanting to go back.*

[Suzu]: "I am sorry but I..-"

*Suddenly she leans in front of his face.*

*She shut him up by putting her hand on his mouth and covering it.*

*Shock invaded his face as he tried to muffle, really confused about her action.*

[A. Girl]: "I won't accept no for an answer."

-"Come on Suzu... Just quit cowering and man up and let us go... trust me they won't do anything to you."

-"If they try I promise you I will be a shield for you. I promise I will protect you.*

-"So, please? For me... Agree."

*His face turned into a tomato, embarrassed by her words.*

*He sighed having no other choice but to agree, and he nodded.*

*She smiled and moved her hand from his mouth.*

*She looked at him smiling she grabbed his hand getting up quickly, forcing him to stand up.*

[Suzu]: "Wh...- Huh??"

*She started walking towards the park still holding his hand forcing him to walk with her.*

[A. Girl]: "Come on hurry hurry you're slowing me down!""

[Suzu]: "Okay okay I said I would go with you! You don't have to drag me!!"

[A. Girl]: "Let's go let's go faster faster haha!"

*He sighed seeing her enthusiasm.*

*Upon seeing his reaction she chuckled.*

[A. Girl]: "You know Suzu... You are a good kid. You're the best kid!"

-"You always make me smile. You always make me happy!"

*She looked away embarrassed her face turning red.*

[A. Girl]: "You're special to me... Suzu."

*Still being dragged, Suzu's face turned bright red from embarrassment.*

[Suzu]: "Thanks... A."

-"For being with me."

Running into the distance a perfect picture of a girl and a boy holding hands running further and further into the distance towards their friends.

Being at their happiest together.

That picture is painted in a little child's heart, Engraved in his brain.
