I woke up in the darkness. I was a little groggy and had no sense of location. I felt confused as questions popped up in my head as "Why am I here" and "Where is this".

After a few minutes of just sitting around confused, I decided to stand up and have a better look at my surroundings. I noticed something in the distance and started to move towards it.

5 minutes of walking later I noticed a bubble that grew as I walked along. After another 5 minutes I finally reached the bubble. What I saw inside was stunning. A planet that looked like a round green ball.

I just stood there admiring the green ball when suddenly I thought,

???- "Could there be somebody else than me in that world"?

I tried touching the bubble when something popped up.

Create a lifeform of your choosing (AN: Someone please help me with these tables. I am completely new to this table thing)

Under it where many different slidebars and such. As I wondered what they were, a image came into my head.

It was an image of a 50 cm tall, 4-legged creature. It had 2 eyes and no mouth. On its back it had a tentacle that was about 80 cm long and on the end there were 2 spikes that were barely visible. It had muscular hind legs and stood in a hunched position.

It had a tail that was about 25 cm long. It's feet have short, razor sharp claws.

I was suprised by the image, but I didn't think much of it. When I looked back at the window, the creature that I just saw was imprinted there. I realized this is my lifeform, my only friend in this black world of mine.

I chose accept changes in the bottom right-corner and a window popped up with the text "Name your lifeform"

Here I came to a halt. I didn't know any names. In the end I went for the name "temporary".

I clicked accept and everything went dark.

X amount of time later

I woke up yet again in the darkness. I was disoriented before remembering the things that happened before I fainted. I immideately checked into the bubble and where the green ball used to be there was now a green place called jungle. I wondered where the word came from but did not pay any more heed to that.

I was looking for my creation. There! I see a little black egg that is under some leaves as camouflage. Suddenly, as if "it" was waiting for me, the egg starts to hatch. Out comes a black creature with a menancing look.

"It" observes it's surroundings, the tail swinging from side to side, before "it" moves at a rapid speed towards a smaller tree. Using "it's" powerful hind legs and front-legs, "it" climbs the tree fast but "it" almost fell at one point.

As "it" got to a higher branch, "it" started looking for food. "It" starts sniffing and soon enough it locates a birds nest in a tree nearby. I wondered how "it" was gonna take itself there when suddenly "it" leaps and latches around a nearby branch with "it's" two tentacles before the hind legs claws digs into the wood.

"It" continued to get closer to the nest when suddenly a bird flew into the nest and I heard some birds chirping. "It" started creeping forward slowly and silently.

Soon enough the bird flew out from the nest and thats when "it" acted. It climbed the last stretch fast and reached the nest.

In the nest was 3 chicks. "It" pierced one of the chicks with the tentacle and started sucking the essence out of the chick. It left a small wound where the tentacle pierced the body, but otherwise the chick was unharmed.

"It" fled quickly after its meal and I wondered why. The answer came ten seconds later when the mother bird flied into the nest and was in full-attack mode.

"It" was now searching for a nest, a base of operations after "it" had reached the safety of the tree vegetation once again.

"It" searched for about half an hour before "it" found a large, empty cave next to a small lake. In the cave there were many holes high above the ground.

"It" tried to climb the wall but failed. Finally after an hour "it" had with the combined effort of it's claws and tentacle climbed up to one of the holes. I was very surprised when "it" started spewing some weblike material from it's mouth.

With the weblike substance "it" created a vine from the ground up to the hole.

In the hole "it" laid 2 black eggs before "it" laid down to sleep. I also felt a wave of tiredness surge over me and I fell asleep soon thereafter.

With that the first day of my and "it's" life came to an end

With this the prologue ends. This might end as a one-shot so dont get your hopes too much up.
