”Welcome home Nii-San! How was school?”

”It was alright, I’m sorry Rinka, but I have to do something. Mind doing the chores for now?”

“Thanks a lot Rinka, I’ll be sure to pay you back tomorrow.”

After smiling and nodding at each other, I went for my room.

Whilie finishing up my portrait of Yuuki, I said my hopes and doubts while doing my absolute best.”

”Nii-San, it’s already Seven! Let’s eat together!”

“Sure thing Rinka, I’ll be right over!” Alright, this should do it.”

After finishing and putting my drawing in my bag, I went downstairs.

”So Nii-San, what were you up to? You seemed really busy back then.”

”Ah well, I had a project in Arts and tomorrow is the deadline.”

”I see, I hope it gets the highest grade, I know how good you are at drawing and painting.”

Smiling at me while saying me that, I remembered how I used to draw all sorts of characters on the T.V. show she used to watch.

“Hahaha, thanks for that, well after you finish you food, you can go to your room. I’ll tske care of the dishes.”

”Sure, but make sure you sleep right away okay?”

”I will, I will. Goodnight then.”

“Goodnight to you too, Nii-San.”

After Rinka went to her room, I cleaned the dishes and went right to bed. Just like she asked me.

The next day.

“Good morning Akira, I’m sure you’ve improved that portrait of her, right? Care to let me see?”

”Suichi you’re being too loud. Sure I’ll let you see it but maybe at lunch.”

”Haha sorry sorry. I’m looking forward to it.”

The bell rang

”Alright eberyone good morning. Class is about to start so take your seats.”

Break time came, I looked at Suichi and signalled him to go to the rooftop. He seem ped to understand it and nodded right away.

”Akira, I’m sure you want me to take a look at that drawing, am I correct?”

”That’s right, and please tell your thoughts on it.”

I took the portrait out of my bag and showed it to him.

“This is one nice drawing, make sure you show this to her.”

”Thanks for the compliment and the heads up yesterday.”

”No problem, let’s go out break is about to end.”

After class

I went outside of the classroom and looked for Yuuki I saw her and went to her.

”Yuu-“

Just as I was about to call her, another guys showed up in front of her and started talking to her.

”Hey Yuuki, I’ve heard what happened. I’m really sorry, I need to tell you this. I like you slot and I’m willing to do anything to make you happy.” 

“Looks like I’ve lost my chance, time to go home.”

I mumbled to myself as I crumbled the portrait I spent lost of time on, threw it onto the ground, and simply walked away.

Hey Konami, why are you looking so sad? Did your heart just got broken?” 

“Sheesh Senpai why did you have to be so blunt? You’ve just made it worse.”

”Hahaha! Sorry about that, come on I’ll treat you today. Let’s go.”

”Thanks for the treat, I’ll kindly take up your offer, let’s go.”

Bitterly smiling as I was walking away from the girl I liked from before.
