Battle!

CHAPTER 3

Esis sensed a heavy tension in the air, causing him to feel nervous as if it was his first time.

Clenching his fists, he felt an inexplicable connection to the five characters in front of him. He could feel their breath, every fiber of their being.

With fervor in his heart, he controlled the five; his planning complete, he would now execute his ideas flawlessly.

This time he's going to win!

...

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

WELCOME TO ANOTHER PFC RANDOM MATCH OF THE DAY!

We have a battle-worn veteran with 27 wins under his belt. Despite showing potential at the start, he has lost a staggering 60 times! It is imperative to note that every individual can only have a maximum of 100 Life points, and our dear friend is now left with a measly 13. His situation is precarious, to say the least.

On another corner, is quite a challenger. He only lost 9 times and clinched 20 wins. And it looks like he only plays when he's confident with his team! This way, he can avoid substantial loss of life points and gain enough contribution points to exchange for essentials!

Folks! This is a strategic player, not only in the game but also in life! Unfortunately, we don't like this boring style! What do we want? Blood! Gore! This is a public execution! We are the judge and the jury!

We want a fight to the death!

You hear me! The bell of death clangs!

Esis vs Standford!

The Random PFC begins!

Bang!

Folks, it is starting! From the upper terrain, we can see Esis' team slowly trekking towards the center. He has the usual formation, the two tanks front (Drake and Heavy Infantry), Necromorph second, followed by Warrior, and last is the Mage. He has a steady pace and it looks like this is similar to his previous battles.

Wahhh!!!

Look! Look! At the bottom of the map, we can see Stanford team composition! And we are now watching two of his characters dashing towards the middle! He wasn't even a bit afraid of getting ganked! I'm afraid to say that I have to say sorry to Standford for making my earlier assumption!

Here they are in the middle!

People! We might see a super-aggressive play today!

Rogue and Bounty Hunter! Both are known for their speed. I can guess one usual skill of BH, Time Bomb (25 Fire Damage) and he's now planting plenty of them. But the Rogue, look, he's also planting something! ROCK TRAPS (30 Earth Damage, 10% Flinch Chance)

It's a dual-trap combo! Now I can guess another skill from these two! It should be Explosion (50 Light Damage, Character's Death)!!!

This is a Kamikaze Team!

We might see multiple casualties from the get-go!

We just hope Esis knew what was coming! Does he have Foresight in his Mage? Or his Warriot has a Scout!

But look what we have here! It Is on sight! And he's not stopping! There's not a bit of fluctuation on his side! Seems like he's saving his skills!

This is too dangerous! This might be the fastest game of the day!

Esis, move back!

Okay. You can't hear me. Bye bye.

Bang! Bang! You can hear the beautiful sound of explosions!

Drake swiftly took flight, carrying Mage! But the damage has been done! Heavy Infantry in half health! Necromorph is also affected!

Eis didn't want to be outdone, a fire barrage is coming! Dwindling both suspects. But their shenanigans didn't stop!

A Blink Stab (teleport to a target, 35 Physical Damage, -3 Def) occurs and boom! It timely arrived after the flight! Oh no! The project didn't arrive on time as a Fatal Slash (20 Physical Damage) managed to pierce Mage and another explosion went to the Warrior, who just cast an Aura Master, his health decreasing by half! Mage also suffered a dirty damage!

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

The Rogue is dead by explosion, but its remnants can be felt!

HI taunted BH, but the latter went Invisible! And another Fatal Slash (20 Physical Damage) went through. And the Mage went down without doing anything!

Standford's character is dead yet again but right before exploding between the two tanks, leaving with little bit of health!

It's now 4 vs 3. But Esi's situation is bleak! His team suffered tremendous damage!

This is why initial formation and having information is crucial, folks! Esis Iron Wall formation is good against straightforward teams. I can guess Esis' line of thought. His team might be an all-around defensive! He wanted to have as much as spongeable skills, absorbing everything when he clashed against his opponent! If given time, Esis can overturn his disadvantageous situation! Though, it's a shame that Esis didn't use his plant corpse to scout the field first. There and then the battle would be over and Standford have to pack his luggage!

Enough for explanation! Esis hurried to recover. He's now taking his time. Sure enough! Esis knew what to do. If he manages to heal to a certain HP, everything Stanford achieved will be for naught!

Anyhow, the hooves of death coming through! He didn't want Esis to gain anything!

Standford Necromorph appeared, planting a corpse and reviving 3 Undeads from the deceased characters by Necronomicon!

Like a machine rattling, Dark Damage floated in Esis' team head!

Esis' Necromorph summoned an Undead too. But anyone can see how little its impact is!

Standford used Subtitute (Clone, 30%HP of the Main) and Teleport. It seems like the Kage-Necromorph build we are having here! Standford Recovered his Necromorph before appearing again to face Esis' team.

As expected, he was kiting the latter to death.

And one by one, Standford's team appeared.

This is brutal, you hear me?

On his last leg, Esis' HI consumes his Immortality. Taunt! Aura Master! Shield Bash! Shadow Ball! Refresh Berry! HI ultimately turned into ashes!

What can he do? Will there be a miracle?

Esis on the low. His Necromorph doing so much, tanking all the pressure! Calm Mind?!! It's a freaking Cald Mind!!! Stacked to the brim, its attacks are like grenades while its Summons are like Gatling guns! It also has a recovery! It's trying to reach full health. It kept Standford's HI away. What an amazing build! Like a mobile fortress, it seems impregnable!

Is it the hope we've been looking for?

Unfortunately, Drake fell from the sky. Huge pressure on the Necromorph now acting as the main tank. The lack of Mage's presence is finally showing. With an absolute stun from Thunderwave or other utilities and strong spells, it's a huge threat! But without it, Esis can only chip his opponent' HP little by little!

This is insane! Everyone is spamming everything! They are doing their best to grind their opponent! Oh my god! A lucky flinch! Standford HI now on the go and a taunt! Necromorphs can't recover so fast!

Necromorph became a punching and soon became a corpse!

Esis down to his last! His Warrior making his last stand. It manages to cleave Standford's Drake. But alas, Kage-Necromorph buried the Warrior to the ground.

What a stomp, man! From beginning to end, Standford is leading Esis by the nose!

An Iron Wall Formation vs Kamikaze Team!

Kage-Necromorph vs Calm Mind Necromorph!

Still an amazing match-up overall!
