For those of you who don't know, I 100% write because I like it and it makes me happy. Truth be told, I'd be rather contented--downright gruntled, if you would--just writing for the sake of writing, even if no one ever read my work. I'm a storyteller, it's what I was made to do, if you go for that kind of thing.
Sadly, being alive--especially in Canada--is expensive. I know you've all heard the usual spiel from content creators, "If you like my work, please support me by buying it/leaving a comment/spreading the word" and so on. That'd be great if you did, but I get it, not all of us have money/time/energy to burn. Which is why I'm leaving BoAI up here on Royal Road, where anyone who wants to read it can do so free of charge.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
That being said, there is a MUCH better-polished version of this same story available in paperbacks and Epubs. Use this information how you may, and know that I appreciate everyone who helps spread and/or support my content in any way at all. There's a special kind of joy that comes from having people geek out over a thing that you made, or saying how they can intimately relate to characters you wrote. I'm still a pretty amateur author, so I can't really put that feeling into words, but damn. Its good.
So... yeah, buy a copy if you want, don't if you don't. March to the beat of your own drum and all that. 'Till our paths cross again on this winding road we call life -- LoneLeaf
