Ch 34: escape

"SISTER!!"

*POW!*

Maya stood in front of her sister waiting for the shot to come, but it never did. She opened her eyes and saw that there was a young man in front of her. Mya was also confused by the situation.

'Looks like you won the bet.' Shin thought. A moment before the shot was fired, Shin pulled the two of them out of the scene and hid.

"You guys really are idiots enough to stand by and wait for the shot to come." Shin commented; however, he knew they couldn't escape even if they ran, but they could live longer.

"W-Who are you?" Mya asked with a scared expression. She was a little shaken, so she didn't even remember Shin.

"No time for conversation." Shin grabbed them both and ran away.

"You… what do you think you're doing?" Maya asked with a frown. She never let anyone touch her like that.

"Shut up." Shin replied.

"Y-You…" Maya has never been treated so rudely; however, she was still a rational and intelligent person, so she didn't say much and let Shin carry her. Shin walked around some alleys and came face to face with the street.

"Do you plan on trying to escape down the street? They'll find us easily that way." Maya didn't understand Shin's logic. They didn't have any vehicles at the moment, how could they escape down the street?

"You have a cold expression on your face, but you're still naive." Shin said and then he approached some random biker that was nearby.

"Hey, your motorcycle keys fell to the ground." Shin said to the man.

"Did they fall? They're here." The man responded by taking the keys out of his pocket.

"Thanks!" Shin thanked and knocked the man out. He took the keys to the bike and said, "Hold on tight."

Mya held Shin's waist while Maya held Shin's waist.

"They are coming." Shin warned and began to accelerate. When they left, several black cars appeared.

"Get them!" One of the men yelled.

*Pow!* *Pow!*

They shot Shin's bike, but never hit a single shot.

"What the hell?!"

-

"Ahhhhh!" Mya was screaming right now. Whenever she heard a gunshot sound, she braced herself for the worst; however, the worst never came.

"Tell me where your house is." Shin said.

"Stay in (...)" Maya gave her location.

"Well, hold on tight. Things can get hectic now." Shin warned.

*POW!* *POW!* *POW!*

The rate of fire started to get higher and Shin had to make several turns so that "his" bike's tire didn't get punctured.

*POW!* *POW!* *POW!*

"Let's take a shortcut." Shin warned and entered an alley. Maya looked at the route Shin had taken and was confused.

"Isn't this a dead end?" She asked.

"Not."

"This is clearly a dead end." Maya saw that there was a huge wall at the end of the alley.

"Of course there is a way out." Shin said as he headed for a ramp. He accelerated the bike as far as he could towards the ramp.

*Vrum-vrum!*

"AHHHH!" Mya started screaming when she felt the bike was no longer on the ground. She squeezed Shin's waist tightly. Maya didn't scream, but her heart was also pounding this time, it had been a while since she felt so much adrenaline. Shin climbed over the wall and headed towards Maya and Maya's house.

"We lost them, but it looks like you're being tracked." Shin warned.

"Traced? That's impossible!" Maya commented. She would never let anyone put a tracker on her.

"There's a tracker on your necklace." Shin said. He also noticed that he had a device that was broadcasting their conversation, but he didn't say anything about it. He had a good solution to solve this problem.

"This…" Maya looked at her necklace with a complex expression. This necklace was very special to her because it was a gift from her late grandmother. Her grandmother was a very dear person to Maya and Mya because she was one of the few people they could call "family."

"Did you give this necklace to someone?" Shin asked. Maya thought about Shin's question as she frowned.

"Whatever. You won't be using it anymore anyway." Shin took the necklace from Maya's neck with one hand and threw it away.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Maya yelled loudly. That necklace was extremely important to her.

"Shut up. We're being surrounded, you better not fall off the bike." Shin warned.

*POW!* *POW!*

Black cars surrounded the street so they couldn't pass.

"We are dead!" Mya started to panic when she saw the cars.

"Hold on tight." Shin entered another dead end, but this one didn't have a ramp. When the bike was about to collide with the wall, Shin grabbed the sisters in each arm and jumped over the wall.

"AHHHH!" Mya screamed again.

'This girl really knows how to scream.' Shin made a few turns in the alleys to lose the assassins.

"Shhhhh!" Shin told the girls to be silent. He hid behind a wall with the two girls beside him.

"Shit! Where did those bitches go?!"

"They discovered the tracker recently, so they're probably close to this area."

Mya almost screamed again when she heard the men's voices, but Shin put his hand over her mouth. As the men were about to pass them, Shin suddenly appeared in front of them.

"W-What-" The 2 men were surprised and tried to shoot, but their arms were hit and their weapons dropped.

"Ahhhhh!" They felt tremendous pain in their arms. Shin took one of the guns and pointed it at them.

"I know you can keep in touch with your team, so send the following message(...)"

Shin threatened to kill them, so they ended up fulfilling the request.

'What pathetic murderers.' Shin thought, smiling.

-

"They managed to capture the girls, let's check it out." One of the bosses said. They stopped looking for the two and went to the location their subordinates reported; however, when they got there…

"That…" The boss was shocked when he saw his two subordinates dead.

"Shit! We've been tricked!"

-

"We have arrived." Shin said as he looked at the huge mansion in front of him. The mansion was filled with guards.

"Th-Thank you!" Mya said. Today was one of the craziest days she's ever had; however, she was grateful to Shin for saving her life. Maya was grateful too, but she was still angry that he had thrown the necklace away from her.

'Grandma…' Maya mentally apologized to her grandma.

"Take it." Shin said and threw an object towards Maya. Maya instinctively took the object, but she was shocked when she saw his necklace in her hand. The necklace was also without the tracker and voice device.

"This…" She looked towards Shin to thank him, but he was already gone.

"Sister… he reminds me of someone… WAIT!" Mya remembered Shin at that moment.
