Hello guys!
I hope you are alright.
Beyond The Legacy has been on hiatus for close to two months now - 52 days to be specific.
I apologize for the late notice.
Aside from only recently encountering Torkel Klingberg's 'The Overflowing Brain: Information Overload and the Limits of Working Memory', I have been doing editing tasks for my blogs on the following two pages:
https://harishkgujudhur.wordpress.com/blog/
https://www.minds.com/harishk7/blogs
Thanks to Dr. Klingberg's book, I now know that I really need to improve my attention and have been successful in improving it so.
I have also fully revised 'Aidan Alastair' and published (republished - you will see the original date is 12.11.2021) the work on amazon.com:
https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B09LRSK4FS
Summary
"Upon his death, Aidan Alastair is summoned into another world, in a nation called 'Thesis'. This nation is run by a goddess called Ambrosia. Aidan is given a chance to return to his original world, if he works as a hero for five years. However, Aidan refuses the goddess's request. Aidan's refusal causes him to be cursed. He gets locked inside a prison cell. Upon instigation by some summoned heroes, a battle rages between the now-berserk goddess and three heroes...
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Join Aidan as he seeks answers, and starts his journey as an adventurer."
In the amazon version, you will find a basic character introduction and a summary of each act at the end of the book. There is no new content, except for a couple of sentences. Do note that the story is more coherent in some parts in the royalroad version, and in some parts, in the amazon version.
It took a lot of rereading to get parts of the book right, with new motives to make it more interesting.

So, that's it from me.
I am sorry for not upholding the one-month update schedule I said I would adhere by. It was initially a two-week basis, and it somehow worked for some time. (first 19 chapters to be exact).
I will focus on more background for the character 'Yang', introduced in the draft for chapter 25. I hate to say it, but the reference models for the characters so far is jumbled up, other than for the MBTI side. 'Yang' is based on Ching Shih, a Chinese pirate leader.
Anyway, if you think Beyond The Legacy is cool, consider reading 'Aidan Alastair'. I mean, there must be some blind-spot jumps to conclusions I've made in there, but I'm confident it's minimized. If anything, do let me know when things are not comprehensible on the logical level. If you like 'Aidan Alastair' as well, consider buying an amazon copy of the work!
I hope readers of Beyond The Legacy can point out any disjointed/incoherent rationale, and any mistakes down the line. This will greatly help me in the editing process.
Best Regards!
