(( Second point of view!!! )))
“Hello my new name is Amelia. Pleasure to remake your acquaintance! hmm?” Looking above this familiar face, I see the name Rexusmalata. “Rex.... what's with that name?” I ask with my a bit of worry.
“Oh yea, I couldn't get any of names I wanted… So I keep on trying for half an hour. Then I just ended up putting Malata after Rexus which was my first choice. Its hard to get any good names anymore. This game has been out for 2 years now.” Is the answer I get.
I feel a little spoiled getting this name. It was my second choice and from what that NPC told me, the name was taken but the account got banned for undisclosed issues. I hope no one comes looking for that person who I took this name from...
“Alright you wanted a mage class build style right? So here” Rex I mean Rexus opens up his menu and starts up a trade. “Whats this?” I ask. “Not much just a starter robe and Dirty boots along with a wooden club” he answers. “Ehhhh! Dirty boots... why would I want those?”
“With your starting stats this is the best I could come up with. That is close to what you want. Anyway the stats will be a huge boost to you just started. The club will upgrade your 1-3 damage to 4-7. And even if you find a good Mage Trainer around here, you should still put a few points into your str to increase your damage. Your mp will be too small to help in our battles.”
“Alright if you say so. By The way, what class have you got? You never told me at school.” I ask while I equip my new gear.
“Well I want something more powerful then just as simple warrior so I'm trying to find a hidden or unique class. It will take awhile but there really is no downside to staying as a World Traveler class. But there is no real strength to it either.” He says that with confidence, but he should only be level 14. his knowledge is still deeper than mine though, so I'll just use his knowledge as a base for growth.
After being shown around town and having simple explanations about the shops and the perks to having good relations with the townspeople, we went to out of the town and around here the starting mobs are Brown Chipmunks, Mountain Coyotes and Lazy Raccoon's which move in packs.
Rexus showed me basic combat and then let me go at them, until I had no issues with even those raccoon packs. After that that we went looking for stronger mobs so I could get some fast levels. What we found was a cave that looked poorly dug out. Rather than fearing what's inside of it, I was worried about it collapsing.
After entering we saw a Green Goblin and killed it instantly. My attack just can't compare to Rexus damage. After going deeper in we reached a fork in the path. Unsure of which path to take, we paused until we heard some goblins laughing on our left.
They sounded like they were having fun so Rexus thought that we should put a stop to that... and that's how we meet that '[unique]Horned Rabbit' being bullied by them. After quickly ending their sorry lives I jumped to help the poor little guy. Pulling out one of my few potions, I used it without thought.
I got scolded by Rexus for saving an animal that might attack us. But it did not attack. It just stood there with a somewhat dumbfounded stare.
Rexus wanted to kill it but I was against it. So we left it. After going deeper into the cave killing a few goblins we hit another dead end. But when we turned around we saw that blue rabbit again. I was a bit happy but it spooked Rexus.
It was weird how it just stood there staring at us. It was different from how the other mobs acted. I asked Rexus if he thought it wanted to come join us, but I was told only Tamers, Beast masters or people who learn the tame skill though other means could get a beast to join them. So we awkwardly walked along the edge of the tunnel and continued on. But now we saw it following us keeping a distance just staring... Its weird feeling being watch like that, even if it's by a cute animal. Still it did nothing as we worked through all the Green Goblins so we tried not to pay attention to it.
Then we got to the boss area. From what I was told it can take days, weeks, or even months in game for bosses to re-spawn but here it was, the [boss]Mine Goblin. It just looked like a brown version but named mobs have much higher stats.
Anyways with how easy it's been so far we simply nod our heads and went in for the attack. However it did not turn out well. Those goblins although weak by themselves, are much craftier than they let on. When one is close to death it backs away and it's still hard to kill it since they are well coordinated. Attacking as a team and in inter-vaults put a lot of pressure on us.
In the end they even separated the two of us. Rexus had his hands comply full dealing with the bulk of them and I was barely surviving against three of them. In the end I got hit from behind and knocked down.
Thinking I was finished at that point I was saved not by Rexus but by that Rabbit. It came out of nowhere and stabbed one of the goblins. With the focus on It, I was able to quickly charge that weakened goblin and use my last potion to restore my health. Then with the combined force of us and that rabbit we managed to turn the tides.
It seemed to do little damage, but just having it detract them made a large difference. After getting our loot and making our way out of there, we found our new friend quickly went to go rest in the grass.
“He really saved us there.” I said
“ Yea don't really understand It though... never heard of an beast doing that.” He said honestly.
“Well this just proves that there is still so much BOTH of us can learn” I say with a smile.
“OK OK I'm sorry for saying I knew a lot about this world... But I did spend a few weeks researching on this game before even starting. So I do have a good set of knowledge.” He replied.
“Well we should at least say thanks to him”
“Yea” and so we both said our thanks and waved good bye. “let's head back we got a lot of loot to sell. Sucks their were no drops you could use though.” he said as we started walking away.
“Well I already had a good start for my first day in this world. It has been an eventful day.” I reply.
“Yep I'm just glad we can spend so much time in this place. Every hour in our time means four hours in this world. Technology at its finest!” Rex finished with.
But then I feel a impact on the back of my right leg. Almost falling over I take a look to see the rabbit there. Without attacking or waiting to get attacked the little one started jumping around wildly. Then he stopped and waited. Confused me and Rexus just stared. Then a high pitched little scream is what it chose to do... it kind of hurt my ears. Following that scream a window popped up in front of me.
[unique]Horned Rabbit wants to follow you. Do you want to make it your pet?yes/no]

looking at this I felt surprise and joy. Me on my first day with a pet. I’m not even a Tamer or Beast Master. How could I say no to having a companion with me at all times. Rexus looked at the screen and looked at the rabbit.
“Are you for real?” He says quietly to himself out loud, at least I think it was. I then quickly pressed the yes button and looked at my new partner!
A screen appear in front of it, and the rabbit just looked straight at it. Even after the pop up disappeared he just looked forward without moving.
“Pleasure to be working with you I said!” Hoping to see it jump around like before. But it just stood there not moving. “Um hello” I say aloud. Still it motionless.
Then it started to shiver, then shake. After half a minute of that it screamed louder and with a bit of noticeable anger. Flailing around it ran straight into a tree and started bashing the side of its head against the base of it.
“Amelia your new pet is broken!” Rexus said in alarm. And I felt like his words were true as well.
Walking towards the seemingly crazed rabbit I lean down and put out my hand. “Are you OK?” I say. Only to set an alarm off with the rabbit, it turned around at me and gets into its battle stance. Its eyes filled with rage.
In response I fell back in fear and even started to get teary eyed. After looking at me for a few seconds it stopped. Sat up and started to breath heavily... controlled breathing? ‘It showing signs of a having anger issues!’ After a couple of breaths it looked down then back up at me. Eyes a little bloodshot but calm and clear.
“What have I got myself into?...” I say out loud.

‘Alright I gotta keep my cool... although it says I'm her pet its bullshit... I'm just now an older brother protecting a little girl... Look I'm clearly scaring her... Keep calm...’
I end up telling myself to keep somewhat calm. ‘But what the hell is with this world. It keeps on kicking me down any chance it can get... Is it that NPC... No cant be, it deals with new player that's all... Whatever I'll take any crap you send at me world and ill come out stronger and with more fiercer every time.’
looking at my new own... I mean little, but larger than me companion. sitting there on the ground I start to move past her and into the direction of where they were walking. Then after getting a short distance away. I turn around looking at them like they're making me wait. They exchange a few words then start to follow with a bit of fear on their faces.
‘Even with my outburst just now, I'm just a little weak rabbit... These two will never last if I scare them.’
After awhile of leading them I start to fall back to Amelia's side. After all I have no idea on where we are going. Luckily they seemed to get that and the boy took the lead.
‘Anyways why did I see that screen just now? I never could get one to appear for me.’ I try calling out both aloud and in my mind for any of the menus but once again nothing appears.
‘Fine be this way. I'll still keep myself moving forward regardless.’
With a few easy battles on the way, I found that we were now on a dirt road. Shortly after that a town came into sight.
‘Those two look tired. Well even I am.’ I think to myself.
We entered and the first thing I saw are houses lined up. A few of them seem to have livestock in their yards. But we just pass on though and to get to the plaza. The sides are stalls most of them seem to be closing up for the night now. There is also a church, bar(based on the smell and noise), and I believe an inn. But it's the statue that is in the center that is the most eye checking.

‘I wonder if that's a statue of... What was it, the goddess Hera?... I was told this is where you would first start off in game. Also this is the first place you should go to when you get to a new town. Attuning yourself to these is how you choose your re-spawn location.’
Those two seem to be heading to some of the stalls. Maybe to sell their junk items. ‘I'll go check out that statue then.’ Hopping onto the ledge around it I notice that it is on top of a water fountain. It even has water coming out of the base that the statue sits on.
‘With all these old middle earth style houses they still manage to make something like this... they should spend their time making those houses stronger looking.’ Anyways, checking out the goddess statue I find... nothing. There should be a pop up telling me to attuned or asking anyway'. Running out of ideas I just lay on the fountain edge looking around.
Seems I caught the attention of a few people, well I am a blue rabbit. Not paying the people any mind, I rest. Until I hear some yelling. I look forward to see a Priest or a Father I should say, pointing at me looking angry.
Amelia seems to have gotten in between us and is talking but as long as he does not hit her it should be good, a man in his position has to keep a good image.
The way he looks at me does annoy me. It also looks like the face my mother used to give me… ‘It's Disgust huh...’ He stops and back away after the people around him talk to him. 'Whatever I'm too tired to care.'
I almost ended up falling asleep there until I felt a pressure behind me. Turning I see the statue giving off a slight white glow. Followed by an image appearing above it. Pure white with no colors.
It was a woman that looked similar but by far more stunning than the statue. Long hair, slender nose, perfectly shaped eyes and a body with all the right curves. Not that it meant anything really, but I do know the standards of society.
Our eyes met and a smile formed on her face. “Finally found you!” Found me? “I've been afraid you were killed or stuck somewhere”... “Don't feel like talking to me?”
‘She is talking to me right?’ looking around no one seems to notice the glowing woman in the air.
“Why don't you try talking to me already? I feel like you can't understand me...”
“I do. But can you understand me?” I ask. With a larger smile on her face, I get a nod. So she understands screeching huh.
“OK see we can see and hear one another. But what do you mean you were looking for me?” I ask
“You really can't think of why?! Well looks like your head's a bit hard!” That comment strangely did not bother me.
“Okay then, this thick headed rabbit wants to know why already.” I say with a blank rabbit face.
“I'm one of the tree programs that deal with Vega's systems. And in case you don't know it means I work alongside the crew's at NewWorldINC. In other words I was asked to find you by Vicky.”
“So that means you're the one who forgot to tell that NPC that I was coming though. Correct?” Now a little angry.
“Uh yea... I had a lot of traffic coming though and there was a lot to do that day...” She says with her head now pointed to the ground. Easy to see the pain on her face.
“Well what's happened is now just a part of the past. But I really don't want that NPC to just walk away from putting me through all this shit!” I say thinking about that attitude she gave me.
“Oh well I already took care of that.” her face returns to the previous smile.
“What do you mean?”
“Lets start from the beginning. When Vicky wanted to know where you chose to start, I looked for your unique data and could not find you. After backtracking, I found one of my workers, the one who you met. After getting a wishy washy tale about the encounter I ended up having to go through her records. When I found out what really happened, I shut down Character Creations department on this side for 30 minutes Earth time in other words 2 hours in this world.” She paused for a moment to think.
“Not going into details I brought all of them together and made an example of her.”
I ended up replying like this. “Is that all?”
Her face was still smiling but her eyes went cold. “As if, She covered her tracks, lied and forced me to go through piles of data to get want I needed. After making an example of her, I did what she did to you.” My eyes widened at hearing this. “However I don't think a being a horned rabbit suits her. So I put her into the sewer system of a large city. She's now a Sewer Rat.”
I'm usually not this cruel but after what I've gone through, hearing this put me into a full on laughter. You can use you imagination to think of how a rabbit laughs. Not even paying attention to my surroundings. I failed to notice everyone around watching a animal chirp and screech at the statue.
“That's too good... Okay okay... So now that you've found me what happens now?” I ask still holding back some laughter.
“Well we can start you back up in the character creation. Or if you fancy that body I could give you my blessings.”
“Blessings? And why would someone even want to stay in a weak little body?” I can't help but ask.
“My Blessing will give you most of the abilities that Travelers have. Like status menus, inventory, and basic word and writing compensation. And I agree that humans are far, far better then you right now, but you have the ability to rank up or evolve.”
“Evolve... in other words become a greater creature. How does it work?” I feel a bit interested.
“I don't deal with monsters really, but I'll tell you what I do know. First once a monster reaches level 100 they undergo their transformation...and that's about all I know.”
“Are you really one of the great gods?” I feel ripped off at that explanation.
“I can't help it, I deal with the connection between the two worlds. Managing my staff that controls new player entry, data connections, hack watching and many other jobs related to dealing with human's... Of the three of us Alien programs I have the highest workload!” Someone I felt sorry for her now.
“Alien Programs?” I can't help but ask.
“Ah well with you its four, but you are different. You were once human while we were created to be the only connection between NewWorld INC and Vaga or I mean Beyond the world. It's to help keep the world moving at all times...” catching her breath she looks me straight in the eyes. “The other two deal with keeping NPC's in order and creating and managing the skills players and NPC's have, While the other works on creating and managing monsters. This world is always growing and evolving and there is no way humans could handle that job.”
“Ah so as a monster I'm not under your jurisdiction.” I finally get it.
“Right and with all the countless monsters out there and no real system on there end to find irregulars like you. I could not Find you. Until you got near one of my statues then you unique presence would be found... and I had to add that feature to every one of them... its been tough...” She almost starts to cry.
“Okay I understand I don't hold you at fault so don't cry... But what would have happened if I died before you found me?” I just wanted to know that. And her face stiffens up. “Well let's not talk about that.” she looks away. ‘Well I almost died again... in a way I'm really lucky for surviving all this.’
“Anyway do you know what you want to do?” she asks in a hurry.
“I'll stick with this for now. Not only will I be a unique player but I've already adapted to this form. And I got a nice girl to protect now!... On that note with your blessings could I stop being her...Pet!... and be able to join her as a companion?”
“I'll send a message to the monster man... so we can do this without having rules colliding.” as she says that a screen arrears in front of her and she seems to be talking but I can't hear a sound. At this point she seems to be busy so I just stay silent now. And finally notice the people around staring at me. ‘shit... now I look like a rabbit that talks to inanimate objects.’
Now that I have quieted down and noticed them. The Priest form before starts walking up towards me. But now he has a cross out and is screaming something at me... ‘What a pain in the ass.’ And once again my little companion gets in between him and me… ‘What type of man gets protected by a little girl. That's just wrong!’

(( Just want to say that I don't think females are weak. I know a few who could kick my ass in real life. But our Hero if you want to call him that, is a guy who always wanted a reason for his uncontrolled ability to get into fights. After all without thinking he used to fight all the time. Anyways back to the story....Women are scary when angered! ))

While that Priest was yelling at her, I ran up to him and stabbed him in the shin. Causing him to fall to the ground holding his leg. Blood pouring out and everyone in shock. I jump in front of Amelia and start yelling at him.
And looking at me the Priest eyes were filled with anger. He cast some sort of spell on himself and the wound healed instantly... ‘That is so not fair!’ thinking on how much that would have helped me before I got ready to fight. Now the Priest is also in a battle stance, staring me off. There were soldiers and watchmen around but they did not know how to act right now.
He starts to chant something and a white ball of fire arrears in his hands. At this point Amelia jumps down and Covers me. I try to break free, cause he still seems to want to fire that ball off. I don't want Amelia to get hurt but I can't even break free from her arms. Then he fires it off.
What happens next only takes a second. The ball is heading towards us and is about to hit. But a golden shield appears in front of us and the ball is repelled right back towards the Priest. He's sent flying and hits the ground hard. He quickly looks at us in disbelief. And just as quickly turns his head towards the statue. I manage to twist myself free from Amelia's arm's to see a golden goddess floating above it.
She was staring him down with a very displeased face. Then looked at me and sighed. All eyes were on her then I walked towards her and thanked her. She said nothing but smiled and nodded. Then with a wave of her hand a golden light shined on me.
