Rain Fallen (Part 2)

CHAPTER 15 Part 2: Rain Fallen

--Yuna's POV--

We had heard of the incident regarding the idol Lily Rain a few days ago and with Frod’s invitation Sura and I were able to get to the capital inside the royal carriage that Frod prepared for us.

Lily Rain a famous idol that even the king and prince of Niru favored had a scandal that was released to the public by an unknown individual who saw the idol and a mysterious muscular man having a casual date in the Entertainment District.

The news spread like a sudden forest fire spreading wildly within a plethora of trees, plants, and animals, destroying everything in its path, the whole kingdom knew in less than 24 hours. Lily’s concert at the time was cancelled due to the career ending news that angered many of her fans that was delusional enough to think that they were the only ones that deserve her love, protesting everywhere including the establishment where she had stayed at the time causing many complains that pushed the inn to kick Lily out of their building secretly.

After that no one knew where she had gone, every loyal fan of hers pleaded with her company to not let her go and that they needed her, even Frod and King Geller went and had a private talk with said company that just abandoned her on her most vulnerable time but they argued that it would cost more stress to her fellow idols if she had remained because it also happened in the past that a famous idol had a scandal that spread and it also destroyed her fellow co-workers careers, now they live life as prostitutes.

There was nowhere else she could go and the royal family knew this, so Frod invited us… maybe because he was afraid and needed people he could trust by his side this was of course just speculation for I do not know the type of person Frod was or is, I just know that my guts are telling me there’s something uncomfortable about him.

We had arrive to the familiar white marbled castle, a beautiful towering building that stood tall over the kingdom, pointed roofs of each tower of the castle reached further into the sky compared to others, guards marched all around to keep it and its residence safe from harm. The one who welcomed us was Frod who excitedly walked over to us and hugged my friend Sura tightly which in response Sura patted him in the back.

“I’m so sorry to bother you both” the prince said, his usual comedic demeanor was overthrown by his love and concern for the idol.

“It is fine. What do you needed us for?” Sura asked

“I just wanted friends… I wanna help my idol and I don’t know what to do.”

“We’re sorry Frod. Have you asked Lily if she wanted help?” I asked coming down from our ride.

“I haven’t talked to her yet but I heard from my father that she declined his offer”

“You know… for me not anyone can help everyone. There are people who you cannot help even after offering so much, people would still have some pride or an excuse that would led them to decline any help. Lily had a rough week we don’t know anything that happened throughout that time span. What she needs now is space and time to think things through but I guess what she really needs is comfort.” Sura said in an emphatic way, his forehead wrinkled, his expression softened, and I knew Sura saw himself in Lily’s situation like the whole world was against you no matter what you do just crumbled away.

[but who knows what she truly needs—] I saw a young woman dressed formally in red, her smooth white skin glimmered, her nice figure had the right curves, a body I dreamed of having in my rightful age.

She was talking to a red haired pretty boy in the corner of the road, arguing about something. It abruptly ended when the knight in shining armor left the blue haired young idol who silently cried in the corner, unable to stabilize her trembling body, both of her hands tried to hide her face, her knees were close to her chest appearing so much smaller than she had before.

I knew then and there that ‘that’ was Lily Rain fallen so far that all she could do now was hide from watchful eyes.

“Henloo~ why you crying miss~” I asked wanting to help her somehow.

“Ow, i-it’s nothing carry along little lady.” She said looking up at me, her eyes were red and dry, her tired expression as she looked at me gave me the idea that she doesn’t want anything to do with anyone including me.

“I hope whatever you are facing miss, you over come it~” I smiled and returned to my companions who were talking away at the entrance of the large venue.

I let her stay there as if I didn’t saw her, didn’t want to disturb her more than I already had or let her number 1 fan see her, so we moved on, feeling guilty that I couldn’t help her in her time of need.

[You can’t help everyone Yuna… just like what Sura said.] I thought to myself while walking down the long hallways of the castle.
