I couldn't see anything. It felt like I had been hit over the head. The only thing i could hear were sirens. I couldn't move no matter how much i tried. So I decided to go to sleep.
The next thing I knew I was in a bed. Not sure how I got there. I opened my eyes to a dimly lite room in a hospital. Not that I'd ever been in a hospital, it just reminded me of those TV shows where you see an coma patient. I even had an IV in my arm. I looked around and saw a bunch of machines that show your pulse, blood pressure and a large assortment of random numbers. That's when It hit me... I'm in a hospital and I have no idea how I got here. I tried to think back. The last thing I remembered was getting off the bus. I had just got off the phone with my parents about how I was doing well in school. After finishing the call I walked across the street. I don't remember much after that point.
Overally I felt like I had been run over by a car... So that's what I guess happend.
A few moments later a doctor came in. He said "Your finally awake. I must say you sure took awhile to wake up."
I replied "Sorry about that, I guess next time I'll try to not get hit by a car" He chuckled. "You didn't get run over by a car, although I'm surprised that you didn't. You collpased in the middle of a road. You compeltely stopped traffic on main street. You have been unconscious about 8 hours. Its strange, we can't seem to find anything wrong with you. So, we need to keep you here for a few days to run some tests and see what happened."
I quickly replied "Sir I need to go to class in a few hours, call my parents, and I'm not even sure I can afford to be in a hospital much longer." He replied,"A patient needs to worry about healing quickly first, and everything else second. Your Parents already know you are here. Your school has been notified through them. So far your insurance covered everything but if your really worried about cost then you should know that the most you will owe comes out to about 7000 dollars. Since Obama care was implemented, 7000 is the most out of pocket cost and individual needs to ever pay a year. That might seem like a lot but your health is a lot more important than that. Also, your parents told me to tell you to not worry about that now. And to remind you that your school cost a lot more than 7000 dollars a year, so you better keep up with your studies while in the hospital if you can...."..... "Anyway, try not to move much, relax and if you need anything there is a button by your right arm that will call for a nurse. Also, all your backpack is on the chair to your right. I realize you might be really hungry, but we need you to not eat anything untill all our tests are done. So you will not be able to eat for another 5 hours. The bathroom is over to your right, and there is another bed for patients on your left.

"Doctor, I have two more questions", "Yes" he said. "Are you and I the only ones in this room? I like having my own personal bathroom"
He says, "Yea, funny you mention that, we just had a patient leave this room, so you are the only one in this room. You get this one all to yourself. I need to go now, but don't hesitate to call you nurse, His name is Jon and he is great at his job."
Some people might be thinking about how awesome it would have been to have a cute female nurse, and how unlucky it would be to have a male one. I on the other had was completely focused on trying to figure out why the doctor had not mentioned anything about the floating orb in the bed on my left. And why it seemed to had bright neon words floating above it saying "Hello, I am 4312451 AI. Only you can see me. I am here to answer your questions"
