All of a sudden I’m sitting in front of a middle-aged woman, she scrunches her eyebrows together with a stern looking face, she opens her mouth to speak.

“Nicholas, no more fooling around, answer me, why would you try to do something like that to a fellow student?”

I look around in a daze and see that I’m in a completely white room, with hospital beds spread out evenly, I also seem to be on one myself.

Looking towards my left I see an old man with royal purple robes on, looking at me with a face that hides what emotions he has, only giving me a long look.

I was confused about what was happening, so I tried to ask the woman.

“W-what do you mean, a student?”

I don’t remember doing anything towards a student, the last thing I remember was feeling dizzy on the sidewalk, with another person that looks like me.

‘Come to think of it, didn't he call me ‘Nicholas just like what this lady is saying?’

While thinking about what's going on, the lady across from me looks at me as if I’m trying to play a fool.

“Oh, now you don’t remember what you attempted to do, to the Duke's daughter? Pretending not to know won’t get you out of this situation Nicholas.”

I was about to ask her what she meant by that, when all of a sudden, my brain hurt really badly, I started gaining memories of someone else's life.

Realizing the situation I was in, I decided to do my best to get out of it.

“I would like to apologize to Nelphilia for what I did, so may I please see her?”

I tried my best to have a face that looks like I regret my stupid actions, in hopes that they will be swayed into thinking I really do regret it.

The lady which I learned is called May, is the healer for the 1st years in the school.

May looks at me with a surprise look but returns to her stern face.

“Do you think I would let you go and try to harass Lady Nephilia again? I’ll make sure to exp-”

“Wait a minute May, we should give him a chance to say his apologies to her, we give second chances to people because everyone makes mistakes, you know that too right May?”

The old man that was near the door, walks over to May and looks at her with a wise old man look.

“You’re right Vice Headmaster, I apologize for trying to overstep my boundaries as a healer.

With a complete 180 in personality, she bows down with a look of serious regret.

“You’re fine, now back to you Nicholas, I will ask Lady Nephilia if she is willing to hear you out.”

As he finished saying that he turned around and walked out the door to go get Nephilia.

‘I feel like I’m way over my head here, but I gotta do what I gotta do.’

Thinking that to myself, I prepare what I should say to her when all of a sudden a girl with mystical beauty enters the room.

I knew instantly that it was Nephilia from my memories, so I attempted to stand from the bed to try to give my greetings to her when I realized that I couldn't stand up with my left leg, so I came into a position that looked as if I’m kneeling.

Deciding to go with this pose, I decided to greet her.

“Your lady Nephilia, thank you for giving me a chance to apologize for what I had done.

She just stares at me with a neutral face that doesn’t reveal what she's thinking, she opens her mouth slowly.

“I’m willing to let this go because of the good connection both our fathers have with each other, but on one condition.”

I was happy to know that I will be able to get out of this situation, so I was excited to hear what she had to say.

“Of course! I’m willing to do as much as I can to get forgiveness from you.”

That's when I looked up and seen her with a predatory look in her eyes while smiling.

“Yes, all you have to do is attend the yearly magical tournament, and choose me as your first opponent.”

Then I realized that I was not going to get out of this situation as easily as I thought.
