Chapter 1 : Fear leads you to Courage , Courage leads you to Boldness

"Ah !!" As I ran away from raging Flame Leopard , I could feel a chill on my back that keeps reminding me that if my legs stops than my life shall follow my legs !!

( he means to say that he will die if he stops )

Flame Leopard , with the body size of an ordinary lion and skin of those wild leopards , it looked Alpha amongst other leopards. It's pair of eyes were shinning or more like his pair of eyes had red pupils while his skin had lines of red flames which showed his ferocious flame property. 

It was fast enough to travel 1 meter in each step but I was even faster compare to this nasty Inferior Beast . Inferior Beast are the lowest species of all Beast Races .

Inferior , Upper , Superior , Noble , Sacred , Divine / Holy and finally Legendary. 

This are the ranks amongst Bloodlines for Beasts since Ancient Era .

My name is Samundra Rai , or should we say Sea or Ocean since my name holds the meaning of Sea or Ocean . Rai is my Surname .

I heard that Rai are one of those Tribes that are very brave and courageous , if someone angers them then they will lose their temper and even puts their life on the line just to harm their enemies without caring for their life but at the same time Rai are those that holds the value for friendships more than their families !!

But if you talk about me , than sorry !! I have no  such traits that are valued by Rai in me . Even though I am Rai , I don't have dangerous traits like them such as ferocious-ness , high temper , value for friendship and so.

In my whole life , i had lived my life in solitude , all alone . I live in a village name Rai Village that is rumoured to be branch family of a huge Powerhouse.

But today , when I was just leisurely lying beneath the sky while above a boulder near the beautiful river where birds crisp and sings  , without any warning I was attacked by this crazy motherfu*ker !!

I am just a Mortal so why are you hunting me ? Please spare me and my pitiful life …..

I am not a Warrior so please don't chase me .

I tried to communicate with the Flame Leopard many times while running away from him . Even I don't know how but right now , in the middle of the Green Forest , I am running more faster compare to a Third Rate Beast that is known for it's speed !!

Warriors and Beast have their power ranking and they are divided into few ranks . My knowledge is limited so I can only give you few info about the power ranking and they are from weakest to strong. 

Third Rate , Second Rate , First Rate .

That's all I know about the power ranking . Our village Chief is a First Rate Warrior with enough strength to even tear an elephant with his bare hands. I heard that even a Third Rate Warrior has strength of 1 Adult Elephant while Second Rate Warrior has strength of 10 Adult Elephants while First Rate Warrior has strength of 100 Adult Elephants !!

In my whole life , I had never gotten any interest in this so called powers and strength. What does this people that trains themselves to become Warriors achieve other than a strength ?

While Samundra ran with the speed that could shock even a Gods and Devils just because of his Mortal Capability , he felt like his lungs were gonna burst and become nothing but  that isn't a lung. 

"This feels like a shit !!" He cursed his luck for meeting a Third Rate Rank 1 Beast in the middle of such a peaceful forest .

If someone were to hear his thought than they would surely kill him before puking bloods in sheer frustration. 

Why ?

Green Forest is known for it's infamous name as " Shelter of Wild Beasts " and he says that Green Forest is such a peaceful forest ?

Is he crazy or what ?

But it wasn't his fault in it . Since his birth , his " Luck " has always mocked him . When he was 5 , he found a High Grade Rank 1 Treasure but how can a little child know about such a thing that a Warriors uses ? So he just played doll house with that Treasure and lost it in future but he didn't had any regrets in his life even though he lost such a Treasure because he still doesn't know the value of that Treasure !!

" Roar " Flame Leopard roared while showing his ferocity , leaping in the air he tried to pass Samundra and block his path but the thing that happened shocked him till his breath was unstable.

Was his eyes betraying him or what ? 

That tiny Mortal just now did that ? Did he really did that ?

Samundra was running and running for his life but suddenly he felt a very life treating danger on his back so he just…just a little and no more than that , peeked behind and saw something very horrible. The Flame Leopard was ready to leap in the air with his full might which could cause the Flame Leopard to pass him and block his path .

He didn't know what he should do so he just gritted his teeth and looked ahead . If he stops now than he will be unable to reach his village and take aid from the Rearing Warriors that Rears the Sun Village . But if he didn't stop now than he will die by the hand of Flame Leopard .

There was a landscape on his left that could make him fall down till and only after he dies will he reach the end of the falling death . While on his right was the territory of Wild Beasts that could lead him to more dangerous Beasts with the power level of Second Rate Rank 1 or even First Rate Rank 1 Beast !! 

He thought and thought , his body was shaking in fear but he couldn't stop now . If he has to die than why die alone ? His eyes were filled with determination and Will to do something. 

When the Flame Leopard just landed on the ground after his full leap in the air , Flame Leopard felt a strange sense of danger . When he raised his head and was ready to stabilize his stance , he saw this little Mortal that he was hunting before, was leaping on him .

"Ha…." Crying out loud , Samundra dashed his whole body on the Flame Leopard while exerting his whole muscle strength on the Flame Leopard .

If the Flame Leopard had stabilized his stance than Samundra couldn't have able to move him even a bit but Flame Leopard has his stance Unstable so Samundra was able to push him. But before Flame Leopard could use his strength to counter and push back this tiny Mortal , Samundra quickly twisted his body toward left and using all his body force to push the Flame Leopard so both of them could fall from the downside Landscape. 

" Roar " this time , Flame Leopard wasn't just roaring in rage but also in fear . Both Samundra and Flame Leopard were rolling down from the downside landscape , while Flame Leopard was filled with terror , Samundra was filled with satisfaction because he will die not alone. 

' that's what you get for messing with me ' he thought inside his mind before he closed his eyes.

Rara River 

On the riverbank , Xin Ying was washing bunch of dirty clothes of hers , her mother , brother and father. She was a 16 year old young girl with a beautiful looks and slender body . She looked innocent and very pure . Round face with snow white skins , she was like an angel .

On a bamboo basket , there were bunch of dirty clothes so she was washing them with a round soap that is made with pure natural ingredients since chemicals such that exist in our Era doesn't exist in this world .

She was from Shinny Cloud Village , one of the small village around East part of Aide Land . Aide Land is located on South of Nimbus Country. Nimbus Country governs Four Great Lands and Two Noble County while One Royal Territory. In 4 Great Lands , there are Aide Land , Aid Land , Rear Land and Vanguard Land . In 2 Noble County , there are Celestial County and Devil County. While the Royal Territory is Supreme Court. 

Let's not talk about this High Level Powers for now , Xin Ying was washing the dirty clothes while singing a Village Song known as " When you left me ".

She didn't had beautiful or sweet voice enough to make mens lost in her voice but it was enough to feel good to listen her voice. 

"At that time , I was still waiting for you 

But you never came back

Your fading back held some trace of unwillingness 

Yet you never turned back "

"My and yours , memories has been lost 

Time didn't show any mercy at us 

I grew old , maybe you too

But my waiting for you always remained young "

While she was singing a song , she suddenly noticed bloods drifting in the river . She screamed in surprised at first but suddenly she could see two bodies drifting in the middle of the river . 

One was of a Flame Beast while another was of a young man in his 15 - 16 . She was little scared but she suddenly stopped her body from moving after seeing those 2 bodies floating in the middle of the Rara River .

She watched those 2 bodies before she regained her wits and asked herself " should I help him ?" Even though she was an ordinary villager , she was still a Step Third Rate Warrior . Step Third Rate Warrior are told to those that are not a True Third Rate Warrior and above a Pseudo True Third Rate Warrior so she can easily save the young man that was drifting in the river . But she was hesitating on whether or not she should save him ?

In this world , even though you may save other , it isn't necessary that the person would consider you their benefactor but instead will scorn you like you are their life threatening enemy !!

So even though she wanted to save this young man , she was hesitating . 

Of course this young man was no other than Samundra Rai that was drifted away by the river that was right on the area where he and Flame Leopard fell down .

Rara River and Pacific River are connected with each others while Rai Village and Shinning Cloud Village are a neighbours to each other. So it was quite logical for him to get drifted toward Rara River and reach Shinning Cloud Village .

When Xin Ying was hesitating whether or not she should help the young man , she felt someone's hand on her right shoulder. Turning around , she could see a young man in his 19 , with handsome appearance and well built body , wearing a plain clothes. Tall and very charming. His name was Xin Dan , elder brother of Xin Ying . 

"Brother " she was surprise to see her brother here in Rara Forest . Wasn't her body rearing the village so why was he here ?

Her brother smiled at her and said " little sister , you shouldn't. We don't know who he is and we also don't know if it's a trap set by enemies or not ? You should remember that last year many Warriors from different Tribes were abused and killed just because they tried to help those that were suffering life and death situation ?" 

Her brother was right , it may sound that he was being harsh or heartless but last year incident still ignites fear in her heart just by thinking about it.

Last year , many Warriors from different Tribes around the 4 Great Lands tried to help those that were suffering Critical Situation that could cause them to lose their lives but instead of giving them help , those Warriors lost their lives since those people that needed help were actually an Assassins !!

So from that year , many Tribes began to become cautious while dealing with strangers. 

Both of them watched the drifting bodies of Flame Leopard and the young man for a while before Xin Dan decided to leave with his little sister. He wanted to kill this Assassin that was playing dead but after considering that this Assassin should not be alone , he didn't dare to attack since his little sister was also with him.

It was good that he decided to patrol around the Rara Forest otherwise his sister may have fallen in the trap of this nasty Assassin. 

"Hump" he coldly snorted at " Assassin " and left . If Samundra knew about what Xin Dan thought about him than he surely would had cried till blood sheds through his eyes .

Who is an Assassin here ? 

I am not even a Warrior let alone an Assassin.
