"The scan on your iris and vein has determined that you are an unregistered user. Do you want to create a new account?" Sound of a female voice resounded throughout the place.
"Yes!"
"Select the name of your Avatar."
"Zero!", Constantine shouted out loud. This name symbolizes that something which looks unimportant or lacking could in fact be something big, and also that everything starts from it.
"Select your gender from male, female or neutral."
“Male!”, saying it while chuckling to myself about the neutral gender.
"Royal Road has forty-nine races. You may select -"
“Human!”
"You may alter your appearance."
“Make me look more muscular....", replying to the voice awkwardly. "Hey, not everything has to be exactly the same!", thought Zero while trying to convince himself.
"Done."
"Your account has been activated. Your -"
“Next!”

“Brent Kingdom!”
— Welcome to Royal—
"Next! Next! Next!", remembering vividly about this tutorial section which has been fully discussed by the classmates.
Then suddenly a flash of bright light appeared causing Zero to close his eyes for a second.
As Zero slowly opened his eyes he found himself staring at a water fountain. "Nice", thought to himself while surveying the surroundings.
The sky seems to look as if it was gradually consumed by the darkness and the area that Zero currently standing on are bustling with people constantly moving about accompanied by sounds of people's voices creating a lively atmosphere.
"What should i be doing now?", mumbled Zero while thinking.
An image of Jason suddenly popped into his mind. "Yeah, I can ask him for help!"
As Zero shouted out the commands for registering Jason, he froze as if something has caught in his throat. "Hmm..., what is his character name again?" Zero pondered while muttering to himself.
After thinking hard about his friend character's name for a while, Zero looked up and decided to leave it for now.
"Well, I can ask him about it tomorrow i guess.", thought Zero as he assured himself. "Now let's go find someone to ask about getting an easy job or clues to some hidden class."
Zero looked around for the closest person and approached him.
"Hey mister, can i ask you something?"
"Yeah, What do you want?" asked the person as he responded to Zero's question.
"I would like to know if there is any easy job or clues to some hidden class."
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
"...." The person stared at Zero as he distorted his face with distaste. "No! what kind of joke is this!", the mister replied as he walked away with heavy foot steps.
Zero's mouth was left opened as he blankly responded,"Oh ....".
"Maybe he didn't know about anything" thought Zero as he continue to ask the passerby the same question he has posed to the first.
The people he asked either walked away with a huff, or berated him for seeking an easy way out.
After asking for an unaccounted number of times without getting any answers, he decided stop asking and to start searching for another way when suddenly 2 person stood in front of him. One of the person was wearing heavy armour with a sword in his hand and the other was wearing leather clothing with a bow hanging behind him.
"Hey, are you the noob..., sorry the guy asking for an easy job or clues to hidden classes." the archer asked.
"Yes! That's me!" Zero responded happily.
"We have what you wanted but you have to give something to us as 'compensation'", exclaimed the warrior.
"Compensation..., right right let me check what i have to give." said Zero as he rummage through his pockets.
He took out 2 items which is a pack of 10 pieces of rye bread and a canteen and showed it to the 2. "That's all i have." said Zero as his expression turned to one of deep concern.
"Hey you don't have to be so high strung you know" replied the warrior as he grabbed the rye breads from his grip.
"This isn't the place to tell, let's go over there", pointing to the dark alleyway.
Zero had a sense of foreboding of what is to come but as his rye breads is already out of his hands, he had no choice but to follow.
As expected, after pummeling Zero and leaving words such as "stupid", "die", "cocky", they slipped out of the alley.
Zero unsteadily walked out of the alley step by step, half dragging his injured right leg to a deserted place which had only a few houses around as he feared that the 2 may come again to 'finish' what they had started and sprawled on the floor lethargically to rest.
As his conscience slowly slipped into the darkness, he could hear a faint sound asking if he is alright.
Zero tried to let the voice know he is fine but find himself unable to respond. Finally the darkness overcame him.
