Epilogue~ Determination, Dystiny, and Desolation

“Le0n you idiot, why did you let the guards finish off the quest! You of all people know that if you finish it first you get the best portion of the rewards!” Jazz yelled, breaking the quiet walk back to Warwood.

“Jazz, you died leaving me to go clear out the guard barracks. Meanwhile Marlow was busy distracting everyone so that we could complete the quest. Look I’m sorry we didn’t get the last kill but at least we got it done before any guards got to the poison that we may have missed. Marlow you know that’s poison, right?”

“Yeah I know.” Gulping he continued without a mouth full.

“I recently got a skill that helps me reduce poison and other bodily harming liquids.”

“Ugh sure just make sure you have one of Jazzy’s healer juice on hand.”

“ITS POTION OF MINOR REGENERATION, you idiot!”

“Whatever.” A strangulated scream followed by a thump rocked the small cart.

“Hey guys, do you know how to specialize? These notifications are getting really annoying.”

“You. Just. Tap. On the. Notification. And it will. Take you to. The. Menu.” Le0n coughed out when his head wasn’t being strangled by the surprisingly strong alchemist. Pulling on Buttercups rains the carte they’ed stolen slowed.

Turning he looked past Jazz and Le0n in the cart as they goofed around. Instead back at the remaining rat pack as they hauled a similar cart packed with the Hardcores loot. Nodding to Gwaner he gently swung his leg, booting Buttercup for her to continue, leading them across the desert hills. To a mountain far off in the distance.

Follow the instructions Marlow found himself at all his current possible paths he could go down.

Cultist: Gain xp from killing players and can summon demonic creatures to help your dark deeds be brought out. Kill your way to the top. -Can not choose until you have lined yourself with an eldred deity.-

Reading over the information a second time he tapped on the quest rewarded specialization. Smiling, he selected it after reading the information.

Beastmaster (Rare, quest reward): This class grants access to grow more potent and powerful creatures, creatures that could in turn cities to ruins or climb sights never thought possible. Focusing on raising singular unique creatures, the way of the Beastmaster is long and slow. Whether you choose to fight or not may decide the fate of thousands of lives one day. The downside being that this specialization will only increase in level when one of your designated champions is above your own advanced class level. “Hey Boss, we have a problem here.”

“What is it?” Grumbled a tired looking gnome walking on over to the younger version of himself.

“Well I was going over some logs from the pylones and found a few interesting things happening in midgard, more particularly in Ardania.”

“Look, we are finding a lot of flaws with the system now that we are having a large influx of travelers arriving. And I'm currently going to a meeting about this so can you wait till I get back.”

“It can’t, but I’ll explain it real quick!” Rolling her eyes, the boss decided to indulge and gestures for her to continue.

“So the trash bin travelers use has recently gotten more attention. Which has surprised me since, you know I’m incharge of skill distribution and all that.”

“Ah, okay. Well apparently someone down there has found a loophole and been grinding skill points by not accepting a skill that he’s been getting repeatedly.” Now interested in this development, the boss dropped by the pylone department after her meeting.

“Well for starters next time this person refuses this skill, go over the cursed skill list and give it to the person and deny him learning that particular skill. If this happens again let me know.”

“Got it.”

---

“So I’ve heard the tales and have seen your moves, why do you think that I should let you on my team?” Lilith said, looking at two mercenaries for hire. Shrugging her shoulders sending a dozen flies zooming else we’re in the cramped bar.

“Well as my Brother and I have clearly stated we are spell blades we can cast spells, enhance our attacks, and create illusions through our weapons. And the way you have described this target of yours seems rather weak in those departments. So I don’t see why you wouldn’t hire us-“ A massive hand came to rest on the much smaller shoulder of the sellsword.

“Shush Twain. Sorry she is not used to talking about business, yet. If you're wondering why you should hire us over someone else is because we used to be conjoined twins back on earth and even got a title that helps us out from time to time. Even let us share the same mana which means when you get us you're also getting a pair of mages with a gigantic mana pool. Which of course means devastating spells being sent at however you send us at. But hey that is of course if you want us on this little hunt after all.” Bwain smiled at his new employer, finally things might be looking better for them. Until Lilith spoke.

“Great, let's go pick up my brother and go stop whatever monstrous army currency is being concocted.”
