Chapter 1: Endings and Beginnings
Lynus was a realm divided in two massive continents.
Aloa was a continent that housed humans, sub-humans, elves, dwarves and a multitude of other races.
Eleon was a continent that was filled with demons, demonic and mythical beasts, and many other races.

A woman was lying near a flowing stream.
Even though she looked fine from far away you could see blood flowing downstream, she was mortally wounded. In her hands, she clutched the rag she held her baby in. Trembling, she said:
"Run my baby, survive live for me okay, for mama"
The baby looked at her puzzled, he had no idea what was happening.
The woman started to purify her mana and push it all into her babies abdomen, normally a person would develop a mana core(located in the abdomen) at the age of ten, this happened by absorbing mana in the air and purifying it, once that happened the mana channels would form throughout your body, the more mana channels you had the more mana you could purify, but to go up a rank you needed to absorb a Beast Core, when you had ten channels it automated the process.
The rankings of wizards were:
1-5:Static
5-10:Spark
10-20:Current
20-40:Thunderclap
40-50:Lightning
50+:Storm(very few could accomplish this, most only in legends)
The baby started crying intensely, the process of forming a mana core was one of the most painful known to man.
The woman digressed pushing all her mana into her babies body. She had finally ensured her babies survival... ...or so she thought.
The mana core had rejected some of the mana leaving his mana core at the early Spark stage, unable to leave his body the mana went to his heart using it as some sort of second mana core.
The mana started flowing through his arteries and veins, using them as mana channels.Rapidly consuming mana from around him.This left his second mana core at the Lightning stage.
Everyone's mana core developed a different affinity randomly. Some even had dual affinities.
Using his heart as his second mana core the mana did not develop any affinity, instead, it started fusing itself with his blood.
The blood hardened for a second,then softened again, making him pass out.
With her last few breaths, she said:
"Goodbye Alric"
Shaking she coughed blood and let him go...
The stream carried him for hours on end.
...As Alric woke up he found himself falling and screamed at the top his lungs, the fall felt endless as he was finally caught by something, it felt as stretchy as gum but as sticky as super glue.
It was a gigantic web. He couldn't move at all, all he could do was look around. He was in a vast forest covered by webbing everywhere around him was multiple thousand spiders scuttling around. He couldn't move enough to see the fine details
"Sliiiic"
He looked at where the noise came from, there was a human sized black spider with blue at his feet impaling a huge moth and eating it. After it finished it looked over at him and ran towards him on the web, its eyes looked hungry and blood thirsty it hovered one of its spiked feet over Alric's chest.
Alric raised one of his finger's, naive and unbeknown to the danger, and touched the spike "mama".

Chapter 2: Vaporfooted Nightteeth Queen
Spider/Vaporfooted Nightteeth Queen POV
Every day of every month of every year I wake up, I eat, I drink, I sleep, I repeat. Life has been so boring, I lost count of how much time it has been since the first 100 years.
I'm different than everybody else it seems, I'm smart, strong, female and the Queen but that does not change anything, no one comes anymore, no new creatures come nor do those delicious humans. I popped the last Gigantia Moth into my giant maws and went to sleep.
I woke up to an all too familiar *BZZZZT BZZZ ZZB ZZZT* I opened my eyes to find multiple gray Gigantia Moths. At this point, I just do it for sport. I run around collecting all the Moths on one of my legs then eat them all at once. Oops, I forgot one! After seeing that I ate all his brethren he tries to escape but that only makes it more annoying and louder.
I hear something faint fall into my web in the background, oh well it's probably another one. I impale it and eat it in one swift motion. I turn around and see a ripped bloodied rag with something inside. I run straight to it, for me, this is like a present. Inside I find a tiny human? Huh? It stares blankly at me.
It must be a drone like the male spiders I wonder how it must taste like? I hover one of my legs over the tiny human, ready to impale it. Then it pokes the tip leg of my with its finger and says "mama"... ...Huh? Wha- WHAT? Surprise flashes across all my eight eyes. Wha- WHAT DO I DO? I get myself together.
'Oh no duh, I'll just eat it' says my instinct. NO! It's smart! I take my blue-tipped leg away. It's like the sentient little spider I've always wanted! This must be the mysterious creature called "A baby"! I kneel on two of my eight legs. Finally, my prayers have been answered! Something to do! I will teach him in the art of magic!
" Mama?"OOOHMAGAHD he said it again I quickly stand up and form water hands with my magic, after all, I am a great Thunderclap-level magician! I look closely at his face, he has brown hair and blue eyes and chubby features. I could feel a tugging sensation coming from near his abdomen, could it be? Could this kid actually have a mana core? I concentrated very hard and found it, even though it was new it was anything but weak, the color was blue so the kid had a water affinity. I stared at him dumbfoundedly, 'amazing' I thought
If he really is sentient then my telekinesis should work! I concentrate on these words"Baby, what is your name?". The baby winced.
Oops, it seems I overdid it.
End of Spider/Vaporfooted Nightteeth Queen POV
Alric POV
Ever since he woke up he realized his thought process had slowly been accelerating multiple times, also, everything seemed to be in slow motion, everything but him. The spider had done some sort of magic and formed solid hands made out of the water falling down the cliff he fell off of, the spider was staring at him, analyzing him, and staring at him dumbfoundedly.
Out of the blue, a loud female voice rang through Alric's head "BABY WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!?!"He subconsciously winced. The voice wasn't in any particular language it was simply conveyed by ideas and meanings. It was probably the spider using some sort of ability.
"Alric" Alric thought out loud, he remembered before slipping into unconsciousness, he heard his mother's voice say his name. The spider looked dumbfounded
" What?" he said. Then he remembered, why couldn't he speak like this before the intense pain, or even like this a few moments back? Before, he remembered that his thoughts weren't as sophisticated as right now, but now he had remembered every word like it was second nature. This definitely had something to do with the intense pain he felt earlier. Although, the memories seemed faded like if they were ten years older.
Toning it down a little the spider asked, surprised
" How did you do that??" with a tinge of excitement in her voice.
Alric thought over it again and again and then finally he found a clue, he found a weak mana reserve near his abdomen
" Something with mana?"
He was confused, he didn't know who he was, where he was, who this spider is and how he managed to talk and think like this. Although he was glad he had someone who he could share the confusion with. Before long it all came spilling out.
" Where are we? Who are you? Who am I? How am I doing this??"
He said rapidly. The feminine voice boomed in his head again
" Well, first of all, we're in the demon continent Eleon"Alric made a puzzled face" secondly I am the Queen of the Latrodectus Forest, third you are my disciple" his face seemed to be more and more confused by every word" and fourth, I have no idea."
Alric covered himself in the ripped rag, stood up and jumped off the water hand
" That did not help at all!"He exclaimed, then ran up the nearest tree and scouted out the area, while the spider looked at him dumbfoundedly once again. When he was finished he jumped down and said to the spider
" So what're you going to teach me?"Hearing that the spider grinned internally
" The basics math, language... ...Magic"

CHAPTER 3: MEEEEELTING! + ABOUT THE POLL

(He was in the water hand in the first place)Well you see when the mana infused itself with his blood and heart his heart started to work more efficiently, pumping blood much faster than a normal baby or even adults heart would, even though he's still faster and stronger than a normal child(when he blocks out input from his bodies nervous system(you'll see)) it didn't take him a second to climb it, plus the webbing of the male drones are much less sturdy or sticky(not like the Queens, it's more just a normal spider web at this point) what that species is known for is for their numbers and their Queen, not the strength of their webbing.

"Ehhh what? Magic?! You know magic?"Alric was extremely intrigued he had heard his mother talk about it but he never fully understood how it worked or even how it was to be performed all, he knew was that it needed mana from a mana core to operate.
"*Chuckle* Yes kid I know magic"She put the emphasis on magic. The spider continued to think of a way to drag out the excitement" tell ya what 'Alric' beat me and I'll help you find a way back to civilisation" She chuckled again knowing this kid had no chance of beating her anyways.
"Sure but you gotta teach me then"Alric said while holding a face of determination.
This kid actually thought he could beat her? 'Humans are such foolish creatures' she thought.
"Sure kid but I will teach you not just magic you also gotta know how to hold your ground without using magic... ...you gotta know how to hunt, how to fight" You could tell the spider was getting excited, how long was it since she had a good hunt?
Clearly confused, Alric said "Eh? What're we gonna hunt, spiders? Wouldn't that be cannibalism for you?"
"No, no, no I, unlike other spiders am a decent person. We're going to go to the other side of this massive ravine, unlike this side of the ravine the other is filled with diversity and is much larger than this side, in the deepest part and furthest north you can find from Infernohounds to Hellwings while in the south-west tropical part you can find Giant Gnolls to Stormcloud Drakes. It's obvious you can't live off of Gigantia Moths or such insects " The spider said.
Alric looked north in amazement, he had never heard such names and wondered how they looked like.
"We also have to hunt for beast core since when you cultivate enough mana you will need to absorb one to progress to the next stage and go to the Current stage, the older and more powerful the beast, the harder it'll be to absorb, but if you use one that uses the same element as you, it'll be more powerful than a random beast."She explained to him.
Before he could say anything he stopped concentrating on anything else and let his mind go blank and felt a pang of hunger, fatigue and tiredness as if his body was saying 'NOOOOO IM MELTIING, I'M MELTIIIING!' Alric fell down, he barely had enough energy to move his limbs.
The spider walked over to him, she had expected this "*sigh* I knew it kid while thinking of anything else you blocked out input from your bodies nervous system and neglected your body, even with your exceptional strength your still in the body of a toddler."she said condescendingly"it seems for now our little hunt must be delayed"she said with a sad voice.
"Well for now you'll train..."

Chapter 4: The Hunt Part 1

It had been one year since the exchange between Alric and the Queen and since then they had trained as much as they could, then Alric cultivated his core, though to continue the process Alric was going to have to absorb a beast core, this was the day they were finally going on the hunt. They had both grown on each other since then even to the point where Alric had nicked named her "Queenie"
Even though Alric was unknowingly two years old he had grown much taller, to the point that he no longer looked like a two-year-old. He had changed so much in the past year he barely looked like his old self, his hair was completely white because of prematurely increased production of hydrogen peroxide.
(FUFUFUFU SCIENCE! It's so sudden you could call it a jump scare.)
His body was in really good condition since all that he ate was the sludge-like nutritions inside the Gigantia Moths bodies.
Even if when they had trained his little body as much as possible, it would still have taken them a week to cross over the middle of the ravine onto the other forest, so The Queen compromised and let the boy ride on her gigantic abdomen instead, then it would only take them a day.
(SHE'S A GODDAMN SPIDER, I SWEAR GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF THE GUTTER!)
"You ready kid?" Queenie's feminine voice boomed through his head once again
"*sigh* yeah I guess" they decided that they wouldn't bring anything to lighten the load for Queenie and travel faster, in about a day they would arrive at the edge of the Latrodectus Forest, then camp there. Alric climbed on top of the spider and held on as much as he could.
Queenie jumped from branch to branch in seconds, she was going around 50mph (80.4672kmh for ya europeans). To Alric all he saw was a Queenie's legs touch the branches and leave in an instant. Alric reminded himself never to mess with Queenie... EVER.
(Huh now that I think about it Queenie probably looks like a ninja from Naruto jumping from branch to branch like that, Queenie = Chuunibyou confirmed)
The day went on like this until they reached the edge of the forest. Queenie flipped herself over to get Alric off her. Landing on the ground Alric groaned and said:
"What the heck?"Alric said as he started to get off the floor.
The Queen hadn't had this much fun in hundreds of years, she was glad that she hadn't eaten him, even if she still wondered how he would taste. Even though he was tinier than a kid, he had grown a mindset of a adult, eventhough he still got giddy at times and was excited to learn new spells and such.
"I flipped you over for..."She quickly built a hammock out if her non-sticky webbing in between two trees"...payment of this!"She exclaimed making a pose like from a game show.
"*groan* Ugh... ...sadist" Alric mumbled under his breath.
"I heard that, brat!"She swept her leg under his and pushed him into the hammock with her knees. Landing face first into the hammock he did not have energy to retort and accepted it, falling to sleep instantly.
*Sigh* 'this kid' she thought before laying onto the ground and falling asleep herself.
