"What the fuck!" I was speechless. Those blue lightning bolts pulverize the whole building! Turning it into dust. The radius of the explosion is 200 meters almost reaching me! I quickly disabled my gun and dash to the scene.

"shit!" the explosion cause a disturbance in the area, awakening the monsters in it, quickly modifying my gun I prepared for battle.

"Modwaks huh" modwaks are monsters that looked like bats but with tentacle like mouth and a razor sharp wings, They can spit liquid substance that is very sticky. If I'm not careful I might get stuck..and become meal for them.

"Die you bastards!" synchronizing my ability with my weapon made it easy in targeting them. There are about fifty of them but I Sniped them, one by one.

"eeeeekkkk!" the screeching sound they make, makes me kill them more!

A shot in the body is good, but a headshot is lethal.

DODGING their spits, I shot them precisely without wasting a shot. 

"Sam! commin! sam!"

"just a minute, I'm busy!" I aimed my gun at the head of the modwak, bursting it's head, splattering its brain into the floor.

"this is taking to long, time for a finisher" concentrating my ability and my guns core reactor  , I created a concentrated shot, Almost as big as a cannon.

"Eat this" then pulled the trigger, releasing a massive energy output. Piercing on the modwaks.

All modwaks destroyed and a huge hole in the wall. I quickly move out, the building might collapse at any moment.

"this is sam, I cleared the area. Are you guys there?" I got out in the building.

"yes, were here at the Code X building..Err I mean crater"

"roger" I dash in the empty streets while scanning for monsters.

"that's odd.." I saw the monsters backing away from the obliterated building of Code X

I saw Michael and the others standing near the crater. 

"ah, there you are" Michael called out to me.

"what in the fucking world happened here!" Dustin yelled. while looking in what seems to be a Deep hole.

Those blue lightning bolts did this?

"what did you saw Earlier Sam?" Michael ask.

"I reported earlier that an intruder broke into the building, an ability user killing all the guards. When that ability user reach the basement It's seems that Its trying to free something and then, blue lightning struck the building turning it to what it is right now" I explained. I'm still confuse if those blue bolts were from that faint presence I detected earlier or...

"hmmmm, lets just explore this crater then, maybe we can find anything that is still useful" Michael ordered. 

"you sure about this boss? there might be monsters below" Pax commended.

"It will be fine, you got me in the group. with my ability nothing can touch us" Dustin said 

"Tch, Ignorant fool" pax hissed.

"Ok that's enough, our original goal is to infiltrate the building and find what we can about sycomium, but since the building is destroyed the only thing we can do is check the area for possible things that may still be useful" Michael said, instructing us to prepare for the exploration in the hole.

"let's get started" Michael went down first, his eyes glowed with brilliant gold revealing his ability, light.

It's dark and using his ability gives us a light, brighter than just regular flashlights.

we all started to go down, with a clear view in the hole thanks to Michael's ability we can see how big the area is.

"wait, whats that?" Dustin pointed something that seems to be coming up from the bottom of the hole.

"Is it a monster?!" pax shouted.

just then a blue lightning bolt darted up passing us while we watched it.
