“In one month, all of you. The youngest generation of my Nolan Clan will go to the Heavenly Library to receive your grimoire.” An Elderly man said while looking at a few dozen teenagers. These teenagers held their head up high with pride as they listened to their clan’s head. this elderly man wore a long blue robe with white outlines and so did the youngsters, he was called Zurich Nolan, the head of the biggest clan in Revere city, The Nolan clan.
Next month will be a special month, a month where the clan’s youngest generations would acquire a grimoire from the Heavenly Library. The Heavenly Library was a special place, this library was bestowed by the heavens, this library that possessed every single grimoire that has ever existed. grimoires are books that grants power to their owner and there can be only one owner of a grimoire, trying to learn magic that isn't compatible with you would cause death. Majority of the people received a grimoire, only those despised by the gods never received one, but those were few.
Grimoire also possessed rankings, which means even if you received a grimoire it didn't really mean you would become an expert. There are 5 tiers known today for every grimoire. Minor tier grimoire were the most common, after that comes Middle tier grimoire and then came High tier grimoires. afterwards there were the rarest of them all. Only supreme experts possessed these grimoire. The first of the special tier was Earthly grimoire, and the amount of people with these type of grimoire could be counted in two hands. and then came Heavenly grimoire, not a single person in history have possessed this kind of grimoire before.
But just because someone received a minor tier grimoire didn't mean they couldn't become strong.grimoire could have their tier increased depending on the hard work of their owners. The owner of a grimoire also needed to possess strong spiritual energy to be able to fully use their book. To read certain pages in their grimoire a certain amount of spiritual energy was needed, which means cultivation and hard work could get you far in this world.
The elderly man was closing up his speech on the upcoming month “Make sure you cultivate your spiritual energy and make the gods happy in this upcoming month and maybe you all could get lucky! Now go! Go back and prepare yourselves! and make our clan proud!!.” The elderly man shouted as the younger generation began walking away with excitement on their faces.
“..This clan can go to hell…” A youngster whispered to himself as he was the first person to quickly leave the room. This youngster was named Lannister, just by looking at all the people who were just in the room, he was the odd one out. Unlike everyone else, he was wearing a dirty grey robe, the reason for this was that even though his last name was Nolan he wasnt truly part of the Nolan clan. His father used to have a high ranking in the clan but one day, for some reason his father died. His mom never told him why and how his father died, and he never knew the reason why. After his father died, all of a sudden the clan members became hostile with him and his mom, and kicked him out of the manor as well as beating him and his mom half dead.

Lannister held hatred in his heart for this clan, and promised himself to one day pay them back for the misery they have caused. The only reason he came today was to receive any information on the Heavenly Library, but there was nothing useful to learn, they tried to keep him away from the meeting, but by law all of the young generation from the clan needed to participate.
As he left the manor he could hear whispers from others.
“Trash” a girl said
“Look at this pathetic piece of shit” a big fat boy said
“Go die! Hahaha!! Look at this trash!!” Was heard hear from the youngsters as they all left. Lannister knew who this person was, Eric Nolan was one of the people he hated most, he was also one of the leading prospects of the Nolan clan, with a spiritual energy of 21.
But lannister didn't mind all of this, he just told himself that their day would come. Lannister have been cultivating his spiritual energy ever since he was humiliated by his clan, and right now his spiritual energy level was around, 13. Spiritual levels went from 1 to 100 and those that reached the 90’s mark were called saints.
Lannister returned back home were him and his mom lived, compared to the Nolan Manor his house was nothing. Lannister opened the door and entered his home, he didn't call out for his mom or anything but went to his mom’s room where she was laying in bed, shivering. Nolan looked just like him mom. Black hair and black eyes, but his mom’s facial features were unrivaled, she was a true beauty, her dark black hair shone even in the dark, and her eyes were like black holes that could suck the heart of others,. But right now she was sick, very sick. Every since the beating her and her son received she was never able to recover properly and ever since then she caught and Illness.
“Mom?... How are you feeling…?” Lannister asked with a worried look.
“Im ‘cough’ Fine… How was, ‘cough’ the meeting? They treat you alright?” She asked barely managing to speak.
“It went fine, don't worry mom… When I become stronger I will find cure you mom… Please hand in there…” He said as she went back to sleep.
Tears could be seen on his cheeks, he tried everything to cure his mom. But nothing was able to treat her. He even did something he would never do again, he went to the Nolan manor and begged Zurich Nolan for help, but he was rejected and kicked out of the manor.
He wasnt able to get a doctor either for various reasons, he didn't have the money to hire a good doctor, but even if he did he couldn't in the first place, because the Nolan clan would not allow it.
Lannister left her room and went to his, and begin to cultivate his spiritual energy.
“You will pay for this… You will..” He said to himself as he began cultivating.
