I'm just letting you guys know that I'm going on a bit of a break for multiple reasons.

1. Personal problem, School, family, among other things are interfering with my ability to write as I want to. I would need to take some time off to recover my buffer anyway even if it weren't for the other factors.

2. This story isn't coming out how I want it too. I started it without any planning or idea where I was going to go so I've ended up with a real messy, and quite frankly terrible, rush job, uplanned that I wouldn't personally enjoy reading. I don't feel like I'm providing you all with something that is worth reading, and I need to take some time to improve that, both to my skill in writing and my plan for [Backup Online].

3. I have other stories I want to tell part of the reason why this story was the unplanned was because it was originally supposed to be a sort of experiment with my writing, something that I created on a whim just to see how it would sound before I got kind of attached to it. I have other stories whose plots, systems and ideas have been in the oven for much longer and I'd like to get to work putting those down on paper. When I return (after a few months) it will probably be with another story.

All that being said, I don't want to abandon [Backup Online.] I want to clarify that I'm just taking a break from it and I will return when I feel like I have what I need to make it actually worthwhile. I'm way too attached this world, and the system that I have made to govern it, as well as my personal vision of these characters, to just leave it all behind. I just want to be able to make it good and I feel like I'm not able to do that yet.
