Yuna stared at the halves of the iron golem while she repeatedly blinked at them. Solus glanced at his Serpent Sword (the light mana katana with cobra detailings) before it dispersed into particles of light.
"So this is how others feel when I do my thing," Yuna remarked mentally as she gently rubbed her face. Solus angrily, yet unintentionally cutely, grumbled to himself as he aggressively scratched his two alkorian horns.
"Stupid god and their gift," Solus muttered under his breath as his female vocals became more stable. Yuna's eyes went a little wide at hearing Solus mention god and a gift.
"By chance, did you receive it through an email-like message?" Yuna asked. Solus kitsune ears sprouted out from the front of his hood from utter shock. He quickly shoved them back up his hood before turning to Yuna.
"So, you're in a similar situation to us?" Solus asked.
"Us?" Yuna asked as she tilted her head to the side.
"It would take too long to explain; I'll tell you later after the more important stuff is dealt with," Solus stated.
"Fair enough," Yuna said as she raised her hands and shrugged. Yuna lowered one of her hands while raising the other one to her bear hood. Yuna pulled back her hood, allowing her long hair to spill out of her hood and drape over the back of her bear onesie.
"But before any questions, you can call me Yuna," Yuna said cheerfully. Solus sighed as he brought a hand to his hood.
"I feel like you did that just so I'd feel obliged to do the same out of courtesy," Solus grumbled amusedly. After a little bit of fiddling, Solus removed the hood from around his horns, surprising Yuna.
"Oh, I thought those horns were fake," Yuna remarked. Solus happily scoffed as he flicked his hood back revealing a female Solus who looked almost identical to his sister, Lumina. Solus shook his head to free his longer hair from his hood and made it drape down to his knees.
"And I'm Solus," Solus stated as he placed his hands on his hips. Yuna raised an eyebrow at hearing Solus say his name.
"Solus, huh? That sounds more like a name for a...," Yuna said before something clicked in her mind.
"Wait, you're a guy?!" Yuna blurted out as she frantically pointed at Solus.
"I was when I got here, but then I just had to read that message thing," Solus grumbled.
"Yeah, you did mention that," Yuna said before she placed a hand on her chin, "Say, could you show me the message?". Solus nodded. With a bit of trial and error, Solus managed to open the message he was referring to, with the UI of Solus' menus having king cobra head corners. The message reads as followed:
[From: God]
[Hi-hi~]
[I'm so glad you decided to try out the present me and your gramps' friends prepared for you so soon after receiving it. As you can see, you've been sent to another world as a way for you to relax after all the shinanigans you went through... well that's what Ela told me anyway. Oh, and before I forget I left you a little gift because CGDCT rule]
"Cute girls do cute things, huh?" Yuna remarked. Solus gave Yuna a surprised side eye before he half-heartedly sighed.
"So that's what that word means....".
"So, the gift God mentioned was turning you into a girl?" Yuna asked while she tapped her chin.
"Much to my dismay...," Solus grumbled. Yuna placed a hand on Solus' shoulder, and Solus glanced over at Yuna.
"Although I'm in no position to tell you how to feel about this. However, from my experience in this world, being cute makes things for the most part more convenient," Yuna remarked cheekily.
"For the most part?".
"Well, you know, people think I'm weak (which isn't wrong if I'm without my equipment) and underestimate me because of my appearance," Yuna stated. Solus smirked as he pulled his hood over his head.

"But I take it you get some form of satisfaction when you prove the obnoxious ones wrong?" Solus asked as he poked his horns through the holes in his hood. Yuna smugly grinned as she pulled her hood up.
"Most certainly, you might even get to experience it soon if you decide to become an adventurer," Yuna remarked. Solus lightly scratched one of his alkorian horns as he turned in the direction Yuna appeared from.
"At least this world has an occupation I'm familiar with," Solus mentioned before he and Yuna walked off. After a few seconds, the halves of the golems floated after the duo with the halves being covered by teal glows.
A few minutes later, Yuna and Solus strolled through the streets of Crimonia. As they walked, Solus' face turned redder and redder with each step he took as he felt the gazes of everyone staring at him and Yuna.
"Is something wrong? Is what I would ask if I didn't know exactly what you were feeling, Sol," Yuna said as she lightly chuckled and rubbed her cheek as it turned faintly pink.
"But why do they have to stare so intently?" Solus whispered meekly. Solus' words caused Yuna to nervously giggled as the duo reached the courtyard in front of the Adventurers' Guild building.
"Well, I am fairly popular after all," Yuna remarked proudly.
"I feel like infamous is more accurate, Miss Yuna," Helen said. Yuna rubbed the back of her head as Helen, Cliff, and Ralock noticed Solus. Solus pulled down on his hood to hide as much of his face as he could.
"Who might this be, Yuna?" Cliff asked.
"Oh, this is... Sol, a friend of mine, and they'd like to register as an adventurer, although mainly for the guild card part," Yuna explained.
"Is that so, but could it wait until after the auction is finished?" Helen requested. Yuna flinched at hearing the auction wasn't over and flinched once again as Ralock coughed to get her attention.
"So, Yuna, did you happen to find out what was causing the mass migration of monsters?" Ralock asked worriedly. Yuna sighed in relief at hearing Ralock's question.
"Yeah, turns out it was just Sol, fighting monsters after getting lost in the forest," Yuna remarked nonchalantly, causing Solus to bury his face even further in his hood while the others were left in a state of unexpected surprise.
"Well, if they're a friend of Yuna...," Cliff uttered exhaustedly.
"...and dress like Yuna...," Ralock uttered smugly.
"...then them being super strong and defeating multiple goblin kings is within expectation," Helen uttered amusedly causing Yuna to chuckle to herself.
A little bit later, inside the adventurers' guild building, Solus was handed a registration form.
"Please fill out the registration form," Helen requested. Solus stared at the form while the gears in his brain ground together as he looked at the name part. Solus walked over to the table Yuna was waiting at and sat next to her.
"It would be too much of a hassle explaining my predicament if I use my name...," Solus uttered mentally. Yuna noticed Solus' perturbed expression and smirked.
"If you're wondering what to put your profession as they accepted it when I put mine as bear," Yuna remarked. Solus nodded as he set the form on the table and scribbled away. Once he finished, Solus and Yuna went to Helen's reception desk. Solus quickly handed Helen the form, and she checked it.
"Let's have a look. Your name is Solisa Sakamoto, you're sixteen years old, and your profession is... serpent," Helen said before she contently sighed. Helen placed the form on her desk.
"Alright, you're registered," Helen said cheerfully. Solus covered his face, making Helen think Solus was super shy, but, in reality, he was hiding his dumb-struck expression.
"I thought she was joking... though I guess it's less conspicuous than spirit wielder though," Solus mumbled mentally as Helen requested they wait for a minute as she got the guild card ready.
After a short wait, Helen returned with Solus' guild card and handed it over to Solus. Solus and Yuna looked at the card, and both made confused huh noises. Helen tilted her head at the duo's response.
"Is something the matter?".
"How come... I'm already ranked C?" Solus mumbled quietly.
"Well, it only makes sense, given you defeated multiple goblin kings, to give you the corresponding rank," Helen stated.
"Oh, yeah, Lurina and Lanz did mention a bunch of goblin kings getting defeated didn't they," Yuna remarked. Solus scratched one of his horns.
"And one last thing, if you have any monster loot or monsters you wish to sell then you can do so by selling them to the guild or at the butchery area," Helen stated, "You can also just use the butchery to harvest monsters or pay to have them harvested for you.". Solus nodded as he reached into the inside of his trench coat.
"Oh, do you already have something you wish to sell?" Helen asked. Solus nodded as he rummaged around for something. As Solus searched through his coat, Yuna leaned towards Solus.
"For metal golems, you should just take them to a blacksmith," Yuna recommended.
"I see...," Solus uttered. A clinking noise emanated from Solus' trench coat before he hopped away from Helen's desk. Solus wiggled his body from side to side before something dropped out. Three goblin king swords clanged against the floor and each other. The clanging of the swords attracted the attention of the surrounding adventurers. Helen repeatedly blinked as she remarked she was half expecting an iron golem to come out after what Yuna said.
"Are these sellable?" Solus asked worriedly, with Helen giving a thumbs up as a response.
