"I don't understand your question how can you have unlimited games if you also have no games?" Mochi murmured as she tried to wrap her head around the ultimatum Zalroth presented her. Zalroth shook his head as he stopped in front of a tall spruce double door with metal fitting and engravings all over it.
"It's a joke, Mochi," Zalroth said smugly. Mochi's fake rabbit ears sprung up as her emotionless expression remained firmly on her face.
"A joke?". Zalroth nodded his head as the sound of frantic footsteps and constant murmuring emanated from behind the spruce double door.
"Yep. It's a joke where you confuse people by surprising them with a paradoxical statement," Zalroth stated while Mochi nodded with her emotionless expression.
"I see," Mochi uttered as she looked up from Zalroth and at the double door, "We're here.".
"I figured, given the racket," Zalroth remarked whilst gesturing to the spruce double door. Zalroth knocked on the door, causing the footsteps and murmuring to stop abruptly, with only sparse whispers remaining.
Eventually, one of the double doors crept open, and a girl who looked similar to Mochi, aside from having pink colours instead of purple, meekly poked her head through the gap in the doors. The girl's eyes lit up before she ducked back into the room.
"Everyone, Mochi found the missing summoned person," the girl exclaimed from behind the door. A symphony of relieved exhales escaped from the room with one of the exhales sounding more desperate than the others.
"Heh, that girl kinda looked like you," Zalroth remarked.
"Naturally, she is one of my sister units, after all," Mochi stated boldly.
"Makes sense.". The door opened, and Mochi's pink-detailed sister nervously giggled as she gestured for Zalroth to enter.
Zalroth walked into the circular cathedral-like room where more of Mochi's sisters (they all are of different ages and colours but all wore the same base attire) were standing around a magic circle which was drawn on the ground with a heavily panting male priest sitting in a slump at the centre of the magic circle. (The priest was a short [around the height of a human four-year-old] goblin elf [chubby pointy elf ears] with tanned skin and a slightly feminine appearance; he has scruffy and spikey blond and brown hair with pale lime green hair tips, a glistening white right eye with a red pupil and a pale lime left eye, sharp fangs, and has slightly plump thighs)
"Man... I thought I would've been a goner if I messed up the scary queen's orders... again," the goblin elf murmured as he pulled on the collar of his white priest robes to let the trapped heat out.
"You good, dude?" Zalroth asked as he offered a hand to the goblin elf. The goblin elf gladly took Zalroth's hand, and Zalroth helped the goblin to his feet.

"Yeah...," the goblin elf murmured exhaustedly before his ears began to wobble.
"Wait, you can tell I'm a guy?!" the goblin elf blurted out in a mix of utter shock and excitement.
"Yeah?" Zalroth uttered perplexedly, causing the goblin elf to become completely ecstatic.
"Finally, you wouldn't believe how long I've waited for someone who didn't mistake me for a girl~," the goblin elf exclaimed as the sounds of Mochi's sister quietly snickered in endearment about them making the goblin elf look so feminine. Zalroth half-heartedly smirked as he looked back at the goblin elf.
"Gonna be honest, I don't think it's a coincidence if these lot are in charge of your wardrobe," Zalroth remarked. The goblin elf slumped his head in defeat.
"I know, but what can little old me do about it," the goblin elf remarked under his breath.
"I feel yah... on the forced-upon-you wardrobe thing, not the mistaken gender thing. Name's Zalroth," Zalroth said as he tried to offer his hand for a handshake only to realize he was already holding the goblin elf's hand. The duo looked at the united hands before snickering.
"I don't think you can pull off a squared handshake, oh, and I'm Zennei. Although it used to be Ze-Nei before the queen had me change it since it makes documents a hassle given the dash though it's still pronounced the same," Zenei cheerfully said.
"So... written as one word but pronounced as two... got it, Zennei.". Zalroth playfully shook Zenni's hand until Mochi made a loud ahem noise directed at Zennei.
"Right... the evaluation," Zennei uttered before he let go of Zalroth's hand. Zennei picked up his silver staff covered in floating pink neon rings. He raised the end of the staff to the back of Mochi's hand, causing its mana ring to flicker.
"Alright, you can access the Ne-Lon Matrix Network now," Zennei stated as his staff crumbled into particles.
"Not another one," Zennei muttered disheartenly. Zalroth placed a hand on his chin and quietly hummed to himself as he tapped his chin.
"So, there are other summoned heroes?". Zennei nodded before he flinched after registering Zalroth's question.
"Well... yeah, but...," Zennei uttered cautiously.
"But?" Zalroth asked as he slightly tilted his head to the side.
"They were summoned about thirteen years ago and were all reincarnated around the same age as you are now," Mochi stated.
"I see," Zalroth said before he looked over at Zennei.
"So...". Zennei raised an eyebrow as he watched Zalroth close his eyes and ponder something.
"So...?". Zalroth nodded to himself before he looked at Zennei.
"Do you think-". Zennei put on a meek expression, causing Zalroth to stop talking.
"Even if I wanted to, I don't have the authority to let you go anywhere until you've met the Empress," Zennei stated.
"And she won't be back until tomorrow," Mochi added. Zalroth defeatedly and amusedly sighed at his predicament.
"Someone's always missing when important things happen," Zalroth remarked in his head as Mochi tapped the side of Zalroth's head in an attempt to get his attention, but to no avail.
