A sudden cold grabbed him without warning. It felt as though the world was on his shoulders, a sad parody of Atlas and the celestial body he held. Within seconds, the pressure turned unbearable. In a few more, he lost consciousness, falling back into the darkness he feared. Into the nothingness, he had been made intimately familiar with.
‘Ding’
He woke with a start. The noise forcing him out of the darkness that had engulfed. He did not understand how quickly time passes, so it didn't occur to him that he had been ‘unconscious’ for time untold. Looking around frantically, he was surprised to see light so close to him. It felt like a new experience, doing something for the very first time. A thrill, he could not have thought to exist, in simply looking at a source of light. For a time, he merely floated in its glow, not thinking of what the light that caressed his soul was of any value.
Yet, he eventually had the thought process develop. In turn, he looked at what the source of light actually was only to see squiggly lines and circles he could not understand.

“What are these lines? Are they supposed to mean something?” He asked the empty universe that surrounded him, believing that if he vocalized his thoughts, someone out there would hear him and give an answer.
Unbeknowest to the goddess, who had used this soul's original language, his memories were not intact enough to understand its written form. He could communicate in the English Language, but reading or writing was beyond him if he never regained enough memory.
The longer he floated there, the more nervous he became. There might be a source of light within the darkness, but it was not enough to drive the fear from his soul. Loneliness was a curse he feared just as much as the darkness, and without the motherly voices assurance of returning, he worried she would never come back.
This drove him to do what he knew to be folly. A mistake that could forever define him in his chance to redeem himself. He began to do his best to decipher the language the words were in.
'Sy... Syteam? No System, she said that she would unlock a system within me. That means that the second word is Unlocked not Unalokead.' He thought to himself, but a sudden spike of pain hit him without restraint. Images began to appear once again, but this time one was clearer than the others. The soul shook in grief and sadness. It remembered more; it wished it never had. To remember the names of those you loved most made moving on harder and to a soul so impressionable, almost impossible.
‘S... Sa... My... My son's name! Samuel! Samuel!' He cried, his heart tearing. His most loved, he remembered him and his name. Yet, he was deprived of his face. Torture to a single father whose life was entirely for his family. He did not have the goddess’s influence to keep him calm and serene. No, the void was empty except for him and his depression; a horrible match for any who suffer so.
'I am so sorry I left you, Samuel! I am so so sorry! I love you my dearest son! Please be okay. I would give anything to be with you again!'
As a soul, he was weak and impressionable, but he was also eternal. Never having a body to deteriorate and begin the process to move onto the next realm. So for ages and ages, he cried. Grief and depression holding him in their ineluctable prison. But, it is undeniable that time would heal all grievous wounds. And so it did for him. His grief slowly resided to a more reasonable thought, and with it left the depression.
He knew something for sure, whatever he decided to do, he needed to get out of here. He needed to see all the colors, but more importantly, he needed to escape his loneliness.
It was then that he decided to do what he should not have done. He played with the screen, hoping a reaction would be forthcoming. And just as he thought, a change did come.

The Child of a Valkyrie
(Females)
(Higher Race)
8,000
The Valkyrie were a race of warriors that served the Goddess of war Anaiya. Due to a catastrophic war that brought down punishment from The One, their race almost became extinct with the rest of the Higher Races. After the conclusion of the war, only one Valkyrie survived. Vowing to never raise a blade except in self-defense, she married a mortal within the Isle of Light governed by the Light Elves and their warrior class of Fire Elves.
Now her offspring are many and remember the opening of the Gates of Cercius. To prevent any future culling, they carry a code of honor to never raise a blade against another soul except to protect.
The Child of a Valkyrie gives the weapons mastery of every kind except the Warhammer. Black feathered wings from mana, that allow them to become great aerial combatants. And extraordinary strength and Magical resistance.
Dragonian Heritage
8,000
The Dragons are known for their dominance in not only in physical prowess, but also their magical ability. The Dragons were also known to take Elvish concubines when their tastes suited so; forcefully. After eras of oppression, all ten nation of elves of old gathered forces and battled the dragons. This war waged for over fifteen millennia and ended with the defeat of the mighty dragons leaving only their youngest who remember little of the war, and the offspring the various elves had with the dragons. But the cost to the elves was also high, of the ten nations only seven survived; and from the seven only four have any valid form of government.
Now, the Dragonian Empire, lead by the half dragons, is one of the greatest empires to exist. But, their predecessor's oppression continues to live in the form of slavery. They created the first magical slave collars.
The Dragonian Heritage gives a more substantial portion of Dragon Blood compared to the now existing Dragonkin. Your build will be slim but long and covered in scales. Wings similar to leather; broad and strong enough to allow them to fly. Incredible strength and magical abilities like that of the Drelend.
Seraphim Heritage
(Higher Race)
8,000
The Seraphim were the soldiers of the gods. Used in battle for their weapons mastery only matched by the Valkyrie and their magical prowess. But, due to the hunger of the gods, the war waged on endlessly until the Gates Of Cercuis opened. Not understanding what this meant all the warring gods stopped their war to face this new threat. But, unbeknownst to them this was their punishment from The One for the destruction they had caused. Out came True Angels and their counterparts the True Demons. Unlike the Seraphim they were genderless and mighty. In a matter of days, the god's numbers were culled to only that of a few, but a greater price was paid. All higher races used by the gods were eliminated with only a single survivor from the Valkyrie; the Seraphim and the rest all became extinct. The only remaining vestiges of their existence came in the offspring they had with mortals. Now hidden in the tallest mountains of the Isle of Night, they all share the land peacefully with the secretive race of Night Elves and their counterparts the Dark Elves.

The Seraphim Heritage gives you weapons mastery of every kind. Feathered wings of white and beauty unmatched. The capability of true aerial battle. And an enormous mana capacity to complement their battle prowess.
Curse of Ragual
Blessing of Astra
(9,485)
The Ragual Curse, brought down by Ragual, was a punishment to the Drelend, a race of warriors renowned for their ability and beauty, for the destruction of his most sacred church. But, Astra, unable to watch her worshippers suffer such a deformed and beastly transformation, blessed them with most of her power. Doing this she permanently damaged herself.
The Curse gives them large bodies and extraordinary speed and strength but takes away a large portion of their intelligence and their beauty. Making them nothing more then semi-sentient beasts.
The Blessing gives them great wisdom and intelligence making them exceptional mages second only to Dragons and the Higher Races. But most importantly, this gave them their full sentience back.
Unlike the other two characteristics, their beauty was not restored to its previous heights. Instead, one would call them majestic in the sense of a powerful and elegant predator rather than the pure beauty of an Angel.
They were of large build with broad shoulders, tusks from their lower jaw. Their skulls had horns that covered the exterior in beautiful swirls; similar to that of a mountain ram. Their bodies coated with metal that grows naturally on their chests, the side of their faces and chin, forearms, thighs, and shoulders.
The curse transforms the person through an excruciating process. Elongating, widening and molding their bone structure. And changing skin texture, color, and strength. But most painful is the growth of the glossy metal plates.
Now they are known as the Raug. But unlike their dominant predecessors, they are the battle slaves of the Dragonian Empire after the DragonKin took advantage of their period of semi-sentience to enslave them.
The Kitsune's Image
(Higher Race)
Unaffiliated in the War of Gods
(8000)
The Kitsune are a race of elders within the Beastkin Kingdom. Known for their elegance and their most dominant Illusionary Magic. It is said that the Kitsune are the descendants of the god of Chaos Teamul. Teamul, unlike what many may say, did not participate in the War of Gods making him and his creations exempt from the culling; receiving only a stern warning instead.
Now there are only two clans left of the Kitsune's majestic race alive; even then their numbers are no more than fifty each.
The Beasts of Teamul
(Semi-Sentient unless Intelligence is of high rank)
(7000)
The Beasts of Teamul are a dormant race of Guardians protecting the Beastkin Kingdom from the warring race of Green Orcs of Javal. Each created differently. Their looks can be quite horrendous, but in exchange, they gain enormous amounts of speed and strength. These beasts are better known as Chimeras. Of the many races of Chimeras, the few that stand out are the Griffons, Hippogriff, Pegasus, and Manticores.
(You will be given the option to create your own build with different beasts or use a pre-existing one.)
Without the necessary intelligence, you will become semi-sentient for the first ten millennia.
Elemental Merging
1 - 1,750, 2 - 2,500,
3 - 3,500, 4 - 5000
Any Additional Element will be worth 1,750
Become your most favored element itself. Giving you unmatched control of the elements chosen. You run the risk of not being fully compatible with certain elements that would weaken you considerably, but the rewards far outweigh the risk. You will be given the option to choose a build which will be your vessel to the mortal plane from the elemental. If your physical body is destroyed, then your elemental existence will be transferred back to the elemental plane. The only way to return to the mortal plane would to either create a binding contract with a mortal or build your own vessel.
(Creation of vessel without massive amounts of at least five different elements will not be possible)
He stayed there, looking at the long script that was before him. It had so much information, yet he understood nothing of it.
“What do I do now?” He groaned to himself. He kept trying to decipher something from it all, yet could not get anything more than he had more points from the goddess than what the options were worth. Then again, that was quite obvious if he considered those circles numbers. The one with more digits was the highest between them all.
Though it was a surmountable task that stood in front of him, he could not falter when his mind was at stake. The emptiness and lack of anything were getting to him. So, with a crippled thought process from the loss of memory, he chose randomly.

Do you wish to finalize your Choice?
Yes -
No -
‘Finally, something I understand!’ Oh, he knew what yes and no were. They were the basis of the basic, then again as a parent with few means, he has had to use ‘no’ too many time.
Mentally pressing ‘Yes,’ he watched as the goddess’s point counter suddenly dropped, slowing as it got closer to what was taken. As it reached the final point, he felt himself condense without regard to his feeling of pain.
Screaming without restraint, he tried to get away from the pressure. This time he didn't fall asleep, though he would have welcomed it to stay away from the torture he had to endure. For a time it continued, until as suddenly as it had appeared it disappeared. Leaving him feeling better then he could have imagined.
Riding the euphoria, he looked back at his screen only to notice something that made him extremely nervous.
The last option was greyed out.
