Avren had a very good temper and wasn’t easily angered. However the boy in front of him was starting to piss him off a little. But he still kept his cool.
“Eternal Destruction Palace? That’s the name of that palace, right? Oh by the way, your name is too long. I'll just call you Ger.” Avren smiled and replied slowly. “Nice to meet, Ger.”
Gertruda's body was trembling from anger. He gritted his teeth and said: “How dare you...”
But before he could continue, he felt a horrible aura suppressing him. This aura was suffocating to the point that he was struggling to even move his eye pupils. He naturally realised where the pressure came from.
He looked at Avren who was standing a few meters away, smiling coldly at him.
Right now, they were inside Avren's consciousness. So Avren here was invincible. His will was absolute.
That’s of course aside from the Palace itself. Avren still couldn’t investigate the Palace.
“Ger, if I'm not wrong, this Palace was constructed by my previous incarnation, which is your master. That means I am also your master. So behave yourself a little, okay?” Avren spoke calmly while looking at Gertruda. His eyes were a little cold.
“You’re not my master! My master is dead and it’s because of you!” Ger struggled while shouting furiously.
'So that’s why...’ Avren thought.
Avren’s previous incarnation was obsessed with his goal to the point that he sacrificed his existence to achieve it. And now, Avren has reaped all the benefits. That’s why Ger held a grudge against Avren.

“You stole all of my master’s efforts! You didn’t do anything! You haven’t sacrificed anyone! You...sniff, you have no right to possess this power... This power... sniff, it should belong to master...”
First, he shouted at Avren furiously. But he started crying halfway.
Seeing him like that, Avren’s cold gaze softened. He sighed and relieved all the pressure restraining Ger.
Sensing the pressure disappear, Ger was startled and gazed at Avren. He didn’t make a move because he knew there's nothing that he could do to Avren here. He just stared at him stubbornly.
Avren stared back at him and said slowly. “Why don’t you try looking at matters from another perspective? Your master wished to have both Eternal and Destruction Energies at the same time. I don’t know why but that’s his wish! To achieve it, he made certain choices.”
“He knew that his existence would be no more. But he still did it! You, as his servant, must respect his choice!”
“Besides, everything was forced on me! It’s true that this power saved my life. It was also because of it that my mother is now awake. I am very grateful for that. But! Nothing was my choice, so it’s kind of unfair to blame me.”
“However, it’s true that I didn’t do anything to deserve this power. I didn’t sacrifice anything or anyone. Indeed, this power, this mysterious energy should belong to your master. So, I can’t blame you for hating me.”
Avren’s words were like cold water pouring on Ger's body. He stood there for a few minutes silently. Then he stared at Avren.
Before Avren’s previous incarnation's last Reincarnation, he built this Eternal Destruction Palace with the help of Dema. Afterwards, the Palace gave birth to a spirit which was Ger.
As soon as the palace was finished, Avren’s past incarnation proceeded to reincarnate. And Ger entered a deep slumber ever since.
When Avren was born, He awakened.
That means Ger actually didn’t witness his master’s suffering. But Dema transferred some memories left behind by Avren’s past incarnation to Ger. Dema also explained everything to him.
So, Ger's feelings towards his master were like a child whose father died unjustly. Or so he thought.
But deep down, he knew that he couldn’t blame the current Avren. The words Avren spoke, helped him remember that fact.
Ger and Avren kept staring at each other for a while minute. Then Ger turned around silently and walked back towards the palace. Seeing his back, Avren felt sorry for some reason.
“Follow me.” Before Ger entered the Palace, his voice resounded in Avren’s mind.
