Hey Averixians,

I wanted to make a short *checkpoint* chapter to talk a little about the Everloft, its characters, and where I'm at with the story right now.

One thing to note: I'm editing the remainder of volume 1 right now and chapter releases will continue as scheduled. It's been a fun ride so far and I want nothing more than to keep going.

In saying that, one thing I'd love is to hear from you out there - yah, YOU - who've been reading and supporting the story. Averix vol. 1 is almost at 10K reads and I would have never expected this when I started uploading the story here just over a month ago.

I want to give you more content, more opportunity to engage with the story, and more insight into its main characters. For that reason *le epic drum roll pls* I've created a Discord server for those of you to keep updated on the story and to ask me questions that might be in the back of your mind. Your feedback helps shape this story, and helps me see who you're rooting for (promise I won't kill your fav character...not right now anyway).

As the LitRPG elements of this story become more important (Each character is getting closer and closer to The Everloft) there'll also be some opportunity to get involved with voting on character progression - spells, abilities, and perks - in the future.
