Avatar: The Legend of Rahst (Korra Rewrite.)
BOOK 1 - AIR
“Prologue”
Earth.
Fire.
Air.
Water.
When I was a boy, my father, Avatar Aang, told me the story of how he and his friends heroically ended the Hundred Year War. Even though the world is healing, the scars left on it are still haunting us to this day. The biggest of them all is still hurting my soul and those of my family, for it is my children that lost their grandfather. That’s why it was my mission and all of White Lotus… To Find the Avatar anew and heal the world.
-... You have to understand. We have searched through the whole north pole. It is not plausible that the Avatar was born into this family.
-I am aware, yet i beg for you to try. There is something in him. I am sure of it.
-We will conduct tests. If he succeeds, we will try and teach him.
-That's enough for me… Honey. You can bring him in.

The ice doors slowly opened and from behind them a woman came out holding a child by hand. His eyes were white as snow, yet they did not seem blind rather they were curious of everything around him, his eyes could not stop looking. into all directions his sight swayed just to take in as much as possible. Then… They stopped at one word.
-Rahst. Those people are from White Lotus. Very important people. They will ask you a few questions alright?
No sound came out yet his head swayed up and down as confirmation to what he heard, and understood. There were three men overall, one different from one another, yet together they had something no one else had. A white lotus neck guard. Completely white, more pure than snow that falls on the North pole where they are. The red clothed, with a long black beard and pale head leaned and pulled out a scroll of images.
-Rahst I hear. Very well. I have a question. You see, we make toys. And we need help. Which of these would make the best toys you think?
No sound came out, yet his eyes scattered around the scroll in seconds, as if his life depended on it. Then the two white balls stopped due to eyelids closing. His hand wandered the parchment and landed on three toys. A monkey, a drum and a turtle flute.
-Fascinating…
-Indeed- answered the blue dressed man. To which the green only nodded in confirmation.- Thank you Rahst, you can go now. You helped us greatly.- a warm like nightfire smile appeared on the bearded man.
-So? Is he?
-It is highly possible. We will come back here when he reaches ten years old.
-That is four cycles.
-If he is Avatar, by ten he should develop affiliation for one of the elements. Since the cycle has not been registered as broken, it is plausible it would be water. That is why keeping him close to a water source would be the wisest idea of keeping an eye on him.
-We can send him to North Temple. But he is too young…
-Then don’t. The time will show. As it always does.
-We are sorry for disappointing results.
-Do not guilt yourself. It is our calling to find the Avatar, so if he is, our work was not in vain. But as for now, may the Spirits watch over your family. Goodbye.
-Safe way.
