"This is a story about tragedy and action, a tale of the ruthlessness of life and the world in the apocalypse, a true staple of sorrow." - ??? *AHHHHHHHGHGHHHHHH*
I look down to see myself bleeding from the stomach. I see a figure in the distance, stumbling through the crowd wearing a black hoodie, but they appear foggy and blurred. Everything is slowing down, and I feel tired. I think I am going to go to sleep. I wake up in a white void in front of a black figure whose presence seems to tear reality, space, and time around it—a being, an avatar of his true greatness, a figure with a black shattered halo orbiting its head. I instantly come to my senses, realizing who the figure is. "O' Great ***i*, I am grateful for you allowing me to be in your Divine presence, a lowly being like me," I said, bowing my head on all fours. I hold a choke from the Divine Being's presence, his presence like as if the sun was falling on me.
"MY CREATION FROM THE FRAY ORION, YOUR CREATION IS QUITE FASCINATING AND DISPLEASING. YOUR LIFE WAS NOBLE. AS A REWARD FOR YOUR LIFE, YOU WILL BE REBORN. AS YOUR PUNISHMENT FOR MAKING YOUR STORY END IN A DISPLEASING WAY, YOU SHALL BE REBORN IN YOUR STORY. SOO-HYUN BAE Bae, THIS LIFE STORY ENDS HERE, AND A NEW ONE STARTS NOW. I SHALL SEE YOU SOON, SEO-JUN LEE, AT THE END OF THIS LIFE. I WONDER WHAT YOU WILL DO," the divine being echoed as the white void faded to black.I awoke in the body of a newborn baby. The baby's parents hovered over me, saying a familiar name—a name I created: Seo-jun Lee. One of the side characters in my novel. I thought to myself, if Lee is just being born, then the apocalypse is only 17 years away from now. That means the main character of my story, Yong-ho Kan, is a month old now. I have to survive and change the ending for my sake.
My parents thought I was a genius and had a great skill in writing and poetry. It's ironic, isn't it? People I created in a story telling me I am a prodigy in penmanship. They are good people, the way I made them, but it's a shame they will die on the first day of the apocalypse. I feel bad, but that's how the world works.
When I was 15, two years before the apocalypse, I started working, making some money to buy the most important thing in this apocalypse: pearls. Pearls may sound useless, but they are really important after the merge. They were a valuable asset as they had a healing factor that could heal any disease or injury except death. When I turned 16, I focused on getting to Yong-ho Kan, who lived in a town called Gyeonggi-do, almost a 2-hour train ride from Seoul. Yong-ho Kan was a petty thief in my story who was willing to help someone, but at a cost. His abilities were what I was focused on, as they would help me clear the pillars. One day after school, I took a train to Gyeonggi-do to find Yong. He lived in a small house on the north side of the town. Yong was outside looking for an unsuspecting target to pickpocket. There was no good way to approach him as he was very defensive and suspicious. I knew the only way to approach him was with money. I cleared my throat. "Hi, my name is Seo-jun Lee. I need you to be my friend. I can pay you if you like," I said embarrassingly. This is the only way to get through his thick skull. But he smiled and said, "275,512 won, and it's a deal." I handed him the money on the spot. He counted it quickly. "Okay, why do you need me to be your friend?" "Personal reasons," I replied. "Okay, what's your name?" I asked as if I didn't know. "Yong-ho Kan. Good to meet you. If I'm going to be your friend, here's my number: xx-xxxx-xxxx. Let me call you Jun, okay?" "No," I said quickly, annoyed. "Lee is fine." "Okay, Jun," he said. I almost broke my teeth gritting them in annoyance but held back. What could I expect?

"Where are you from?" he asked, glancing at my pocket.
"Seoul." I Answered
"Hmm, Seoul. What is a city kid doing here? Running from a debt collector or something?"
Khan says.
"No," I said. "Just need fresh air and to relax." I reply
"Okay, just know I am watching you." Khan say
"Damn, I didn't know friends stalk each other," I said cheekily.
"You know what I mean. Well, you should get going. I'm about to be late, Jun. Nice talking to you."
In the months leading to the apocalypse, I took to working out and mental stress training as the only limit to your powers is your mental strength. Eventually, Kan stopped asking for money and started to visit Seoul more. A month from the apocalypse, my parents were telling me to relax, but little did they know that they should be worried about themselves. Kan visited every week to hang out. He usually sponged food and clothes off of me every time we went out.
One day, while we were walking past a store, out of the corner of my eye, I saw an unmistakable sword: the Sword of Alexandria. A gold titanium sword etched with runic symbols meaning "Son of Jades." A sword after the merge that caused its wielder to be the biggest target in the world. Even the Demon King had his eyes on it. I need it for my survival as it has a ability no other weapon in the apocalypse has. I see you looking at that sword it no use I tried to steal it once almost got shot but you do you Khan says unworried yeah as I make a mental note of the address to come back to the store once the apocalypse start finally a week from the apocalypse I push my mental strength to near fatal limits thenfay before the apocalypse I ponder what to do with my parent as saving them would drag me behind but they were good parents to me but my survival is more important than anchors . I am truly sorry
