POV: “THE WATCHER”

Entry 1-

182 Eons after the 5th Omniversal War | Cycle 45 | Era 7 | Year 25

Greetings, esteemed readers, who have fortuitously encountered my Omniversal Compendium. You may ponder the nature of this compendium and how it found its way to you. An excellent inquiry, indeed, though the answer may not be as grandiose as one might expect.

Long before the Great Omniversal Order was established—before even the first Omniversal War raged—a child in a far-flung realm was randomly bestowed with an extraordinary ability by the Omniversal Will, as it occasionally does, subtly shaping destinies. The ability itself was deceptively simple: the more knowledge the child acquired, the more they wrote, the more they shared, the greater their power grew. A seemingly mundane tale, is it not? And yet, that very child is now revered across the omniverse as The Watcher, a being who sees all, knows all. Perhaps, one day, I shall regale you with that complete story.

However, today is not that day.

Today, I recount a different tale—a narrative still influenced by the unseen hand of randomness, yet imbued with greater significance and intent. Much like the child who gained power seemingly by chance, perhaps you, too, have stumbled upon this story through a series of ostensibly random events. But how random are they, truly? Only the Omniversal Will knows.

This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.

Now, allow me to share with you a tale that holds a particular fascination for me—a story of a being endowed with one of the most compelling powers I have ever observed: the Authority of Genesis. This power, in essence, grants its bearer the ability to create anything, provided they possess the requisite energy. But fear not, dear reader, I shall not divulge too much—the thrill lies in the discovery.

This story commences after the bearer of the Authority of Genesis had accomplished all that could be conceived within his universe. He had done everything, created everything. Yet, as often follows such omnipotence, boredom ensued. Thus, he embarked on a journey across the omniverse, eventually arriving at a seemingly insignificant planet—by random chance, of course. You will find that randomness is a recurrent motif in many of my tales. Perhaps, by the end, you will begin to question whether anything is truly random at all.

Upon this planet, our protagonist chose to live as an ordinary being—a mere distraction, a fleeting pastime to fill the endless void of time. Yet, this seemingly trivial existence led him to something unexpected: emotions. The inhabitants of this world were driven by feelings—complex, irrational emotions. Intrigued by their behavior, he immersed himself in their culture, studied their literature, and soon became captivated by a particular genre of stories.

These emotions—so alien to him—began to take hold. Enthralled, he devised a plan. He would become a character within one of these stories he had grown to adore. In a moment of fervor, he sealed away his memories, crafted a new soul, and scripted a tale for this soul—a narrative in which it would reincarnate in a world designed to ignite his curiosity. Through divination and fate, he guided this soul to the ideal world, infusing it with all the emotions that had so captivated him. Perhaps too much rage, perhaps too much bloodlust—but it was precisely what he believed the story required.

And so, his soul, now bereft of memories, was reborn in a new vessel. Its purpose? To transcend its creator and unlock the memories that had been sealed away. Moreover, he altered the nature of his Authority of Genesis to align with the laws of this new universe.

Thus begins our tale—with Noah, a boy reborn with emotions of overwhelming intensity and a power capable of birthing power itself.

What could possibly go awry?

Well, for that, you must peruse my next entry. Until then, I leave you with this certainty: nothing is ever as random as it appears.
