Chapter 7.2 The Triangle

Chapter 7.2 The Triangle

“We, the fairies had figured him out. And we, not me, had conducted some investigations on his behaviour and the result was all recorded in The Fairy’s Tales of Dangerous Beings.”

“Huh?” It was quite unbelievable to Darius that there was such a book. “There is such book. How come we don’t have a copy?”

“Internal circulation only, mind you. Of course, there are still things that we don’t know. Like, the physical travel in time or can he see through walls, and if he can, how far, how many walls? Can he travel forward in time? Now that’ll be interesting.”

“Why don’t you just ask Elena? She said that she was connected to him. She knows everything.”

Fannie looked at Elena, still sleeping tenderly and said, “Not everything. Oldbark’s brain is complex and has so much information that you can’t just know everything all at once. Your mind will explode. It’s like a very big library full of books. It has all the books, all the information but you still have to go to the book and read the content. You just can’t get all the contents of all the books into your head just like that.” She snapped her fingers. “So far, it seems, only Oldbark can work that fast. As soon as those tendrils touch you, there you go. All your thoughts and memories, all gone to him, in a zippy.”

Fannie ate another berry, arched her body up a little bit to get a gulp of drink from the pitcher plant, which temporarily exposed her crack, which gave a little excitement to Darius’ little brother.

“It’s not right. Everybody has some stuffs that they don’t want to share. You know, the experiences that you’re not so proud of or disgusted by it, but then, you still do it because somehow you like the disgusting stuff … that kind of stuffs. I don’t want people to know all that. And this pervert, he gets them without asking, for free.”

“I know what you mean. Somehow, Elena doesn’t feel that way.”

“She’s too pure. As far as I know, she has done no bad things. Believe me when I said that.” And she reiterated that slowly, “She is pure. And Oldbark is her saviour.”

“But that’s another long story. Anyway, Oldbark doesn’t concern me very much. I just don’t go near him. But what about you? What happened to you that needed Oldbark to rescue you? It’s weird. He just doesn’t regularly rescue beings.”

Darius proceeded to tell Fannie the whole story starting from the tavern and Fannie listened in amazement and horror.

“What the fuck! You’d been into the Oxtrail. Why, that’s the most criminal place in the land, all the lands. Hell, the whole world. You must be an imbecile. I’m very adventurous myself but I’ve never dared to go in there, though I wanted to go in there, many many times. And what else did you see in there? Lots of deadmen, still walking, I bet.”

“What do you mean by deadmen, still walking? Are they dead? Like walking corpse?”

“No… those are … living beings that are wanted dead. Oosh,” she sighed. “You don’t know anything do you. It means that they don’t want them alive, whoever they are. They are targets for assassinations. You know, there’s this Open Hit List kept by the secretary of the Hitmen’s Guild called, Simply Dead. So, if you want anyone dead, you can just go to one of their offices, they have branches everywhere and complete the formality, pay half of the bounty plus the fees and the secretary will add it into the List. Then they will issue an edict on behalf of you, the issuer, against the-one-that-will-be-killed, or the deadman, as they call it. Then, anyone who thinks that they can kill the deadman kills the deadman, the killer can then collect the bounty. Of course, there’re other formalities involved. For example, they will mint a unique coin, break it in half and give one of the halves to the issuer. When the killer has proved that he had killed the deadman, the killer collects the half of the bounty and the half of the coin from the guild, finds the issuer and collects the other half.”

“What happens when the issuer cannot be found, or that he doesn’t want to pay?”

“Then, the secretary will issue an edict against the issuer, who will be killed in no time, all belongings of the dead issuer will be taken over to compensate the killer and the guild. It’s a nice system, neat and simple.”

“How does anyone know who to kill?”

“They publish the Hit List every week. Just go to the office. They’ll give you the list for free.”

“Wow, that’s something I don’t know.”

“You know what? You said you killed someone by accident. Who did you actually kill? Is he the clan leader?”

“I don’t know.”

“Some of the beastmen, especially the gang leaders got their name in the List. If you had killed one of them, maybe you can go and claim the money. The gang leaders carry a high bounty. And you can treat me and Elena on a trip to the coast.”

“I can treat you two anytime. I have money. It was lost, probably in the river.”

“So, you don’t have any money now.”

“No, but I can get some. And I definitely don’t want their bloody money. It’s an accident anyway. But they shouldn’t be called deadmen. Surely, there must be some that might not be able to be killed. They’d be living.”

Fannie smiled. “The Hit List has never failed, or so they said. That’s why they call the-one-that-will-be-killed the deadman? Coz the person is as good as dead,” explained Fannie putting another berry into her mouth and peering at Darius like someone much wiser enlightening someone less. “But I think there’s a lot of bullshit to that claim too. Like, they’ll never put big names into the list, like the kings and queens, like the Elders and Grandmasters, the Governors and the Lords. They couldn’t risk being the enemy of these people.”

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

“And what do all these deadmen have to do with Oxtrail?”

“They find relief in Oxtrail. As long as they stay in there, they’re safe. The assassins wouldn’t dare to kill them there.”

“So, the Oxtrail is an asylum for the deadmen. If they stay in there forever, then the Hit List would have failed.”

“You catch on pretty fast. You see, Rock Bottom has become the exception to the Hit List, an embarassment. The guild doesn’t like that. But what can they do? They’re all scared of Dono.”

“Who’s Dono?”

“The boss,” said Fannie, perplexed that Darius did not know the name, “the old goat, the one that punched you.”

“Oh, I didn’t get his name.”

“Where have you been all this while? Dono is the most celebrated name in the whole criminal world. He’s famous. Everyone wants to be his friend and no one wants to be in his crosshair. So now you know why the guild is in such an embarrassing situation but no one could ridicule them. It’s unsolvable. Putting the Dono-factor aside, these assassins themselves are unwilling to conduct their business in there. You see, even the assassins sometimes need to hide, from the laws, from other assassins, from rivals, from retribution. Where could they go? There’s nowhere but Rock Bottom. The most dangerous place is in fact the safest place. No one can be killed in Rock Bottom, except that they do it themselves.”

“How do you know all these?”

“You mean, how can a fairy, the fairest being of the land, dabble in all these dark murderous businesses? You’re stereotypical fish, like all the fish. I’m just a different fairy and I get around. I heard things. I’ve been to so many places. I’ve been to Boarbourg, sad place, sad and bitter and sour, no need to go, the town is boring and everybody likes to stick their butts to your face. It’s the worst I’ve been to and I have been to many towns, towns like Westerfield, Anscaster, Dead End’s Cliff, Hell’s Gate, Honeyham, Dragonhide, even Amn Alora, Taesi Haenalean, and Thye Thelemar, just to name a few. You should know them. And I even went as far as Nur Buldahr and Dorul Farguhrm, the dwarf cities up north. They’re beautiful.”

Darius was impressed. He himself had not been to the renown elf cities that she had just said.

“You have been to all those elf cities. How are they like?”

“Hmm…” she smiled as she reflected her past adventures or misadventures. “I’ll tell you some time. It’s a long story, a two hundred years’ worth of story. I see our friend is waking up.” Her eyes suddenly glowed and her lips arched out such a lovely smile. She got up and walked towards Elena, whom she straddled. She then went on all four, grabbing her head, brushing her hairs, smoothening them out, and kissed her repeatedly, all the while revealing all her glories to Darius. He thought that she had such a lovely pussy, and anus, both pink among flawless white flesh. Immediately, his little brother stood up and he had the urge to walk over and plunge him into her. But he did not. He resisted the temptation.

Fannie stood up slowly and pulled Elena up. Darius crossed his legs in an effort to hide his prominent other self.

“You two are up early,” Elena said.

“It’s midday my dear. I see that you two have some catching up to do and I need to go to the river. I need to bath every day and also to shit and piss.” She brought Elena over to where Darius was. “Don’t you need to shit and piss?”

Darius was surprised by her question on such a personal matter and before he could reply, she said

“What! You do it here? Eeeww, that’s gross.” In a blink of an eye, she shrunk herself back to pinky size in a burst of gold dust and her wings sprouted out from her back. She had brownish yellow wings with dark edges and veins and patches of white and yellow which went very well with her overall outlook: lush wavy brunette hair and slightly tanned naked body.

“I preferred the river. See ya, in a couple of hours. I take my time, and bath real fine,” she said. Her voice was barely audible now as she flew out through the leaves.

“She’ll be back,” said Elena as she knelt in front of Darius. “How are you today?”

“Fine, fine. She’s .. a … colourful person.”

“She’s a liberated fairy. She goes around, mixed with all sorts of beings of all sorts of characters. But she’s good inside and outside. She’s just lonely.”

“Lonely?”

“Yeah, lonely. You won’t understand.”

“So, she just goes flying naked in the forest.”

Elena laughed. “Sometimes, I guess.” She looked at Darius’ face which showed some signs of discomfort. Then by looking at his crossed legs, which was not his usual sitting style, she understood. She reached out to his little brother, who was no longer little now, and with both her hands, she held him in the embrace of her palms.

“Wow, is it because of Fannie?” she asked teasingly while she rubbed his head.

Darius’ whole body jerked uncomfortably. “Please, it’s a bit sensitive.”

Elena rubbed him even harder. She grabbed the whole head in her palm and started to twist him like she was unscrewing a recalcitrant cork. Darius screamed softly and fell to one side. His body was twitching uncontrollably but he did not push Elena’s hands away.

“That’s for your naughty little brother.” She was pleased and excited that Darius was going along with it.

When Fannie came back from her beauty bath, she found their convoluted bodies.

“Come on, harder. Can’t you see she’s getting there,” the fairy said.

Darius stepped up the pace and Fannie could feel his thrust.

“Oh, my goodness,” she said surprisingly, “You’re not that bad … not that bad. I thought you were, kinda, weak.”

Darius was panting and could not find any words to answer her. She flew towards Elena face to have a good look. She looked as if she had just awoken from a trance like she was lost between two places. She smiled and puckered out her lips. Fannie enlarged back into their size, withdrew her wings and knelt with both feet closed together. She bent forward and kissed her. Elena held her head tightly and they kissed deeply in a heated embrace. Fannie kissed her everywhere: her cheeks, her forehead, her nose, her chin and obviously her lips and mouth and in the process, cleaned her up of all the goo deposited just now and before.

Darius was getting his strength back while watching them kissing. Fannie’s asses were to his side and he could only see their roundness. He touched her back and felt the smoothness of her skin and slowly he caressed her further downwards to her ass cheeks and the crack. Fannie became alerted but she heard Elena saying to her softly, “Let him.” She smiled and kissed her again. She whispered back, “You naughty girl.” She opened up her legs a little wider and Darius took the signal and started to touch her there. Fannie moaned, getting aroused herself. He then pulled her legs over, spread them across Elena’s hip and started to mount her. He slid into her and held on to her waist. She was rather strong with more developed muscles but not to the level of his elf girls. Elena’s pale white legs looked rather skinny beside hers.

The next day, after they woke up, they started doing it all over again and again, for another four days until Darius was totally spent and they became rather bored with the act itself.
