Author Note: This is what your dragon looks like, I'm sorry the first few chapters are so short. I've gotten better since these were made hence the longer ones later on.

One day, I was on my boat headed to a small Island known as 'Berk', I had overheard a few conversations about this island being filled with 'Dragon's' of all kinds. I went to investigate for myself, accompanying me was the young NightFury that I had found, abandoned and left in its nest alone. I went by every day to see if its parents had returned, after a week I assumed they were killed by either people or by another dragon. With that I took the baby into my care, that was a few months ago and now she's grown a bit and was more like a young teenager, being headstrong and rebellious but I couldn't blame her, it was a part of maturing even if she drove me insane at times.
I sighed, twirling my (h/l) (h/c) while looking down at my map. "It should be around here somewhere, at least that's what those guys said." I looked up, mist and clouds began to part and I saw a huge mountain like structure, I smiled and nodded. "There it is..... Berk.... Mars!" I called in excitement to the Night Fury, she looked around the size of a very young dragon but she was far from a baby, I couldn't ride her since she was so young but she could pick me up and fly with me in her grip.
Mars made an unamused groggy sound in her throat as if saying. 'What this time...?' She went over to her and swayed a fish in front of her and her ears perked up. "Now that I have your full attention, let's go check out that Island, I'm sure that it's Berk!" I said excitedly before a loud crack of thunder was released from the sky, my expression changed a bit. 'Aww, I need to find a place and wait out the storm.' I thought Mars, stole the fish from my gripping seeing how I wasn't paying much attention. "Hey!" I scowled at her, then sighing. "Come on, let's go before the storm hits the island. We can find a place there to stay." Mars nodded in agreement, she didn't want to be caught in the storm.

I found a nearby place and had Mars take a chain around it, from the winds I could tell the storm was going to be bad, I put a few things over mars that she could carry and I had my sword on my back. Mars picked me up once the boat was secured and few off to the island with me. I smiled since I got to feel the cool breeze against my face as she flew towards the island, I wasn't that far out so it didn't take long. Mars landed and I walked around a bit, stretching out. "Land! Finally, I can get walk on solid grou--" Another loud crack of thunder was released from the sky, I was cut off mid-sentence since it took me by surprise and I looked around. "Mars, you go that way and look for a cave, if you find one come and find me, fast. I'll go this way and check." Mars felt uneasy about this and nudged me, looking me in the eyes with concern. 'Are you sure?' is what I could make from her concerned look. "Yeah, I'll be fine." I patted her head in reassurance and began walking looking for a cave, she looked at me before turning and going to look for one as well.
